I mean, I drive a 2017 Grand Cherokee SRT... I used to love that loud raspy sound but I like a little more refined now.

We all love performance, unfortunately as we attempt projects ourselves we run into expensive issues, mainly due to computer technology on cars today. I have found it is best to go to a reputable high performance shop and let them do the work and follow up with a good dyno tune; that way adjustments to airflow, fuel management, timing, etc. can be adjusted for the add-ons. That way you get no engine lights and improved driveability. Your car does sound great! Thanks for posting!

I would've just had my muffler shop bend me straight pipes and custom j pipes. Same setup as the mbrp axleback for a lot less $$$. An underrated something setup is longtube headers, high flow cats, stock npp exhaust. Sounds really good!

ua-cam.com/video/44_-xjxvMhY/v-deo.html try this video. This is headers with the stock NPP exhaust. It sounds really good but the problem is you void your warranty and you need a tune. But if this isn't a problem for you, I think it sounds the best. The catless headers is what will make it scream.

I would have cut both secondary cats out and replaced them with electric cutouts. This way you can open the cutouts with the flip of a switch and the car will be crazy loud, but when you want to be quiet, you leave them closed and you still have the NPP exhaust in place.

I got my 2nd cats deleted and it's significantly louder. Very much worth it. It is more raspy too. Some people don't like that
so many haters my god. the car sounds great dude. i have an mbrp catback on my focus st it sounds great and it hasnt caused problems, and the fitment was perfect. no drone either. ive heard them on coyotes and they sound epic too. just because mbrp makes cheap exhausts doesnt mean they are bad ones

If you remove the exhaust flaps it'll throw codes. They're electronically activated and are needed even with a different exhaust.

Awesome videos keep them coming. I have a 16 V6 which to me has plenty of power. Maybe you can help me I’m looking to put cut outs do not want to have constant loud exhaust. With cut outs you can shut them off and put them on at any time. Do you know anything about these any suggestions which ones to buy. And where exactly is placed. I spoke to my dealer and he did say will not lose my warranty.
My friend did almost the same. He left the cat though and still had the baffle working but no suitcase muffler.
