There is a medium sized tree trimming company in my area who use the excess for firewood. They have a skid steer mounted splitter that is impressive in the amount it can split and how easily it splits the hardwood varieties.
Orange and blue is Easton Made. Their ultra model is affordable and fantastic. I had my splitter built somewhat according to their design and fast cycle times. In my opinion, don't waste your time with box store models
Yes! You already have the tractor and dump trailer. You need a good enough log splitter, and I personally like the IBC totes to store the firewood in. In my area, I can get upwards of five hundred bucks for one cord of Oak delivered during peak season. My log splitter is custom-made and can process one cord in 1 hour or less. Sorry, I thought you had a dump trailer
