How you get grading jobs. Want to niche into grading yards with skid
A lot of this game I knowing people. So you have to work up a network of business/people the need/want your services
So why did you decide to sell the E20? I thought that this machine was the cats meow? Honestly I think you could do more with the E20 than the machine you have now. Ken
It is a fabulous machine for a lot of the landscaping jobs I had, but it was mostly just sitting around since about 97% of my work is grading now. When I need a mini excavator nowadays I need something in the 8,000 lb range. so I just rent it and charge it to the job.
Dude, I love your videos! You inspired me to get an e20 and start a business! Thank you, keep up the good work! Hey..I need a video on how to bid jobs just as you are getting started! Cheers!
I will see if I can make a video like that sometime. Thanks for watching!
Your opinion in t590 vs t66
The t66 is a better machine in my opinion
Why did you sell your e20?
97% of my work now is just grading so it was sitting around not doing anything
@@triplesticks ok I was just wondering . Thanks for the info. I bought a e20 after seeing your videos while you had it so I was curious.
Young Skywalker your training is about complete
Love the videos
Looks like fun
it is
Welcome back!
Thanks, hope you enjoyed it!
Glad to see you back
Thanks, hope you enjoyed it bob!
@@triplesticks miss seeing your videos
The man. The myth. The legend. Good to see you back!
lol thanks man, its good to be back! What do you think? Did I do a good job filming it?
@@triplesticks I think you did good. In cab view could be better but not bad for the first video back in a bit!
That's reasonable, I'll work on that. Thanks for the advice.
Been waiting for like a year for a vid lol :) welcome back!
Thanks, I hope you enjoy it!
Great video thank you . I wanted to ask you is the rihinox quick connect the manual connect? Are there different types? Also i have a thumb on my E20 it is a factory thumb i know a quick connect moves the bucket forward does it effect the thumb alot . Being too short ? I wanted to order the quick connect and 36 "bucket but wanted a bit of help from you thank you again
What year is it? Any problems with the fuel system. One dude said the doosan is no good. The Bosch is better. But you know how opinions are.
It is a 2017, and last year I put 1000 hours on it and during that 1000 hours, I had these problems with it. fuel line issues where I kept having lines disintegrate or Air getting in the fuel lines I shredded the drive motor pulley and belt twice. One injector went bad And I had a myriad of little electrical problems. Back in April I upgraded to a T66 and so fare it has been a good investment
Lazy work
Smarter not harder.
How long did it take you to mowe these 12 acres?
It's been over a year since this video, and at least 3 yrs since you got the E20, so I'm wondering how how it's holding up. Are you still happy with it? Any major issues? I'm thinking of downsizing in HP but up-sizing in reach. I know Bobcat had parts supply issues at some point so that's what I'm most concerned with as I would have to get a used unit.
You still working?
Yeah just don’t have time to make videos
@@triplesticks Watched your videos 2x each now at least...lol Still running the E20?
Thank you for this video. I'm looking at an RT-40 and wanted to see how people liked their ASVs.
Lots of 74hp and less machines have high flow. My tiny little gehl that was less than half that had high flow hookups.
Where did you get the rake attachment?
I just purchased one.... Oh, how I wish they were still only 30,000!
I envy the view from the skid steer! I just got my first machine ever, a Kubota L4060, and bought a stump bucket for it. It’s kind of a pain to see what I’m doing out front with that bucket on because the hood blocks out the view of where the attachment is doing the work. Much higher learning curve than using a loader bucket or grapple. Still I’m very happy that I got the stump bucket to hold me over until I can afford a mini excavator!
Cost for something like this? Just starting out Thank you! Great job
What does a job like this cost?
How do you rate the bobcat e20 after having it for sometime now? Any issues or things you didnt like? Im a excavation contractor so would be copping abuse all day everyday. Would you reccomend the bobcat e20 for somone like me? I have always run kubota but the bobcats loom great on paper.
Good work - this video redeems the first stump bucket video i watched.
good job! do you think a T450 could mow such plants in a decent way too, or do you really need the high flow for such a mowing job/environment?
Good use of the forks🤣👍Using the soil conditioner/rake I like the door on the skid steer.
How big was the clean-up, and how much did you charge ?
10 stars for the wife.. 💯💯💯
Still have the ASV? Or trade it for the Bobcat skidsteer?
I traded it on the Bobcat
How much is a job like this pay?
$125 an hour
Love the work u guys do keep it up ❤❤🔥👍
Nice work. I just picked up a 2016 bobcat 418(same as e10). I will be doing the same projects. Are you still going to upload new videos?
How much tolerance do you have in the depth? Obviously it needs to be below the frost line. I haven't dug footings before so it's all just theory at this point. I'm guessing some simple math is used to determine the target depth (based on transit) such that the addition foundation wall is level with the existing house wall? I'm also guessing a touch deeper is better than too shallow as the concrete crew can adjust the thickness of the footing as long as it meets the min thickness? Thanks!!
So since the quick hitch adds a bit of length between the bucket and the arm, do you notice your thumb doesn't grab at the same points anymore? I just got a geith quick hitch and i knew it would affect my thumb placement, but im wondering if I just deal with it, lengthen my thumb, or something else.
Bravo
What size is the bucket?
Great review
Imagine if they were still those prices! Killer set up buddy!
Rewatched! I am obsessed with the soil conditioner, skid steer, and grading process!
Is yours the high flow?
I am a case guy but when I wanted to upgrade to a larger skid steer I was looking at a case tr310b and a asv max something. The asv noise level was way louder than the case ctl and one of the features of the case was that it come with either iso or “H “ controls. I bought the case.
Can you tell me the brand name of your thumb? Thanks
This video really inspires me to become that much better with our E20. Great video boss.
Glad to hear my man. Good luck to you.
Is that the 42” Eliminator?
Is that a weld on hydraulic thumb or a pin on thumb. Also, what is the brand of that thumb and if you don’t mind how much did it cost? Thanks.
It is the pin on Thumb I don’t remember the brand but it cost like $1800
@@triplesticks thanks .
How do you bid a job like this if you don’t mind me asking?
You can quote this job by the day, or by the hour. From what I found this job should cost anywhere from $1500-$2500
You bought a trailer you knew nothing about? Ridiculous.
😂 it’s a trailer man, it’s not that big of a deal. I could tell it was worth buying just by looking at the pictures. My judgment call was fine, I’m still running this trailer with no issues
This guy commenting has no license and resides in a dump- ster 😂 what a clown
