Just completed day 5 workout. I love this bar! The classes are not long so that makes it easier to squeeze these in daily. I am recommending this bar to everyone!!!
I used to do Pilates 20 some years ago and loved it. Then life happened and I quit doing it. I just finished day 5 and I am loving it all over again! I’m feeling it for sure but I can tell my body remembers and is thankful that I am back. I really enjoy your instruction. I feel like I am working out with a friend in my home. You are very encouraging and I actually look forward to the next workout. I only hope to get my flexibility back at 55 😂
Funny how I was like….oh good, we can stay on the floor, I’m tired & sore today……..well that was short lived😂😂😂. That was harder than standing! Another outstanding workout! Thank you❤
I completed day 5. What makes this okay is that you explain everything so well, encouraging me to keep going and laughing at yourself. Because if you saw me with bar wrapping the cords.😂😂😂
5 days in and I just had to thank you! I’m 5 months post partum and your videos finally made me feel like I’m getting something in recouping strength and toning my body again. This workout was very diastasis recti friendly! I’m looking forward to this challenge every day.
I have to say again how much I enjoy your videos. They are made for real people! I'm just starting out and doing these sessions every other day as my body starts to adjust. You are so reassuring and explain things so well. You are a pleasure to hang out with!
Day 5 in the books! Skipped yesterday to give my back a rest. The c-curves I’m a little nervous with yet. Hate putting a lot of pressure on my lower back. Just taking it slow and easy. But I am feeling how much stronger my back is already getting. I do love the ab work though. Muscle I haven’t been able to use for far to long! Thanks Donna for another wonderful workout. 💜🙏🏻

Love your workouts. Great instruction and your moves are nice and slow. I’m having trouble rolling the bar to get some tension though. I ended up looping the strap around the pole and make a loop then thread the strap through the loop like a half knot.
You don't realize how little you use certain muscles until you do these kinds of workouts! My biggest struggle today was actually my neck and shoulder stabilization! I LOVED these exercises today, thank you!
Day five done! And I'm actually thinking I might need the heavier resistance band, so when I re-do this challenge I'm going to go the next size up. Thank you so much for these videos!! I loved the idea behind the bar, but had no idea how to use it until I saw your channel.

Hi Donna! Glad I found you! New to Bar Pilates, I’m a young 64, athletic but overweight with back issues. I just did (sort of) this day 5. I’m dealing with L3 and T1 issues so needless to say this was very challenging and I had to sit out many of the exercises. Any suggestions? Just keep at it? 🥰 Thank you!❤ Teri

Hi it’s Friday morning here in Australia, 9.56am, I’m a bit late starting this challenge but I noticed there wasn’t a day 4 on UA-cam or did I miss something. I’m up to day 6. Loving these bar Pilates - feeling really good.
Should I stay on one video until I have completed master the technique or should I continue on with the next one. I'm doing the 28 day Pilates Bar Challenge but I'm somewhat of a perfectionist and #4 is kicking my butt. I did finish it twice but I'm thinking I want to complete it without having too much difficulties. Am I putting to much thought process into and I should just continue on to the next video. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Firstly… I really admire your dedication and determination!!! My suggestion is to move on with the challenge and revisit Day 4 in a week or so, you might surprise yourself at how much your strength has improved. MANY people have been very challenged by Day 4 & have messaged me & shared their surprise and frustration!! When it’s challenging focus as much as you can on your breathe, engaging your pelvic floor and allow yourself to slow down the movements. Progress takes time but I am 💯💯 sure you’ve got this xx Keep us posted on your journey.. enjoy xxx 😘

I love Pilates but this is not a beginner's workout. especially day 5. Most of us have never done this before and I feel we should watch the video prior to doing it because it's too hard to watch and remain in correct position, etc.
Hi .. thank you for your comment and feedback. I agree if you have never done Pilates before or used the bar it might be useful to watch it first. the workouts are there for you to enjoy, to learn from and hopefully build strength and mobility. If something doesn't work for your body, I would always encourage someone to tune into that, do what feels rigth. Enjoy xxx
