Please keep listening to your body … if an exercise is causing you pain rather than muscular engagement then I recommend stopping. There are so many workouts to choose from it’s 💯 fine to skip the ones that don’t feel good x x
Hi, Donna. Don’t worry, I listen to my body….thats how I knew I would need to revisit this one. I cried with frustration really, but I only did what I could - which turned out to be not as much as I would have liked. However, my muscles around my hip are definitely strengthening so I know I will be able to do this session in the future. Thank you so much for your lessons. 🙌

Thank you so much for the challenge! It's the first time in years that I bother to exercise. This last video has me frustrated. I don't know how to engage my glutes, so I compensate with my quads... my physio says that my glutes are there just for show 😅 Any tips?❤
Firstly huge well done … delighted you have jumped into this new year with the bar challenge… be v proud of yourself xx It might be worth doing some glute bridges to activate your glutes before you begin… using a band just above your knees can also aid in isolating the muscles… then start this or similar workouts x Move slow and think about where the movement is coming from & keep checking the position of your pelvis xx
The last few days have made me realize that there are muscles existing that I didn't know existed! I know that because I'm hurting in these exact places! 😂

This one, for me, was a difficult challenger (due to the hip obviously) and I actually cried at one point. But I will do the routine again!
