Google Calendar is a really powerful tool that helps you manage your time better, schedule events, tasks, time block your to-dos and share meeting details with your team. However, Google Calendar has been around for ages and although a lot of people still use the basic features just fine, there are a bunch of new extras, extensions, and new tricks to use Google Calendar that will help you manage your agenda even better.

Just a quick update for those searching for Goals on their calendar... the goal function was removed by Google since Nov 2022.
do you know of any free alternatives? the only other thing I've found to schedule tasks for you is Motion which is quite expensive

I use both Outlook Calendar and Google Calendar. The email agenda, shortcut and notion integration was really helpful for me. A Very good, productive video

This is such an awesome video! I have been using Google calendar for years, and this taught me things I didn't know about. The goals feature is so useful, as it's more powerful than a simple "habit tracker" because it schedules the activity for you. I am excited to boost my productivity, thank you!
Since Google removed the goals feature, have you found any free alternatives? The only other thing I've fount to schedule tasks for you is Motion, wich is quite expensive.
@@kimberlynnoggle5568 If I have a repeating goal or habits to track I've been using Google Tasks! It syncs to my calendar and I can set it to recur at a specific time.
I enjoyed learning some new tricks to google calendar! It’s changed my life so so much! I didn’t know they had a goals app 😍 definitely be using that!

Is there a way to view tasks from another Google calendar on the computer? I know I can view other calendar tasks through my phone but for convenience, reasons would want to not touch my phone when I can lol

It is also possible to link your google calendar with Windows, just by logging in with your Google account. :)

Hey! I use Google calendar on my android phone.
Can anyone please tell me how to colour code there?
I can asssign specific colours to events, tasks and reminders. However I can't find a way to change the colour of a specific entry.
For example: If tasks are green, I don't know how to change the colour of one certain task to let's say yellow.
Any help would be highly appreciated!

I have set custom colors on my calender in the browser but when I look at the app on my phone, the colors look much darker :( Does anyone have the same problem?
