- Join us as we delve into Drum & Lace's latest live setup and discover how the Digitakt and Digitone unlocked new creative possibilities. From the perspective of a Berklee College of Music alum, we'll travel through her journey and reflect on her initial apprehension towards electronic music equipment and production, utilizing field recordings and samplers to create new recallable sounds, and how, in today's world, anyone can be an electronic music producer.

The arrangement of gear on that pedalboard is incredibly pleasing.
Making music is the best thing ever! And Elektron gear is amongst the very best creative tools we have on our planet!
The music playing in the background is really really beautiful!
thank you, it's a track I did with Jeff Parker called 'Drift', from a compilation 'Decades (in space)'!
Wonderful! I love her and I love my Digitakt. I would definitely watch a longer interview.
This is a great video.
I really hope you guys keep up this series. The Digitakt is one of the most important musical developments in sampler/sequencer history.
Your emphasis on ergonomics, streamlined workflow via secondary functions and the best sequencer ever conceived put Elektron at the top.
Yes I love videos like this!
Love this setup. Very inspiring!!!!! :)
Didn‘t she write that cool score to that Netflix vampire movie? Night Teeth? I remember that music taking me on quite a ride 😃
hi I did! thanks for watching it :)
@@DrumandLace It was truly mesmerizing. I remember the first thing I did was to look you up on the internet after the movie finished
Setup arrangement is really cool!
we want mooooore!
Great series! I wish she would have talked about how she Integrates her vocals with her set. I did not see headphones on. Wondering if she does any live vocal loops with her digitakt.
Ok, I definitely love the idea of putting your instruments together so you can fit them on a pedal board! That's the ultimate way of keeping your set portable. Why did I never think about that before? :)
now she can record perfectly timed vocal loops and werp them live
I love my Digitone and use it often, it’s crazy cause I usually see people using the takt as a brain 🧠 i midi my DN to the Model cycles and made a syntakt lol one day I wish you guys will sponsor me! This is Dj Cuda btw 🤙🏾
Radiohead's Kid A made me interested in electronic music but it took another 20 years pretty much before I did anything about it.
What is the drone pedal she mentions?

can you tell me who it is ?
hmmmm ok
Please fix the OT midi note being sent before the CC messages. ok? Make the user decide how it should work. PLEASE!
too short
I don’t think anyone has said, “women stay away from electronics.” It has more to do with some general proclivities that are trait-based as a result of gender. It’s the exact reason why men are overrepresented in pipefitting, boilermaking, construction, engineering, coal mining, oil rig working, etc.
I think she meant in her direct environment, as her family, brothers... which is plausible
Thanks for sharing your opinion on women's experiences, random man on the internet.
Exactly. I thought the same thing-no one told her to "stay away" from electronic music.
Lets stop the assuming and the white knight saviourism and just all watch this video on the topic -> ua-cam.com/video/2Ipb81z46kI/v-deo.html
i dont know if she speaks anecdotal from her own time growing up, or from a standpoint of "the whole society" So thats hard to tell.
She’s not going to sleep with you dude.
