I really appreciate that companies like Elektron don't just pretend they're the "only" company that exists and that artists can use other samplers like SP404 effectively in their setup and it not threaten what they're about. That's really understanding musicians and not being precious about their brand
I got a Digitakt a month ago, I spend hours a day exploring sounds, sampling and controlling other machines, what I like is that each person can introduce their personality into the Digitakt , greetings from Chile
"Spend hours a day exploring sounds"
Thats worth the purchase right there.
I had the pleasure of working with Aaron years ago and he is still as delightful as ever. I'm also a Digitakt user/lover now so seeing this come full circle made me smile.
Love seeing guitarists and songwriters with Elektron boxes. Acoustic guitar is how I started my music journey and integrating this gear with a traditional approach can be challenging but incredibly rewarding too. Love you Elektron, thank you for the beautiful tools you make. Wish I could come work for you but I have no programming or engineering skills!

Yeeeees!!! PLS!!!❤
out of my 20+ synths samplers, and effect pedals - the Moog Grandmother , the Big Sky and the Digitakt , has become my most beloved units ,-
More videos like this that don’t focus so much on electronic music - this is the good stuff !
Weirdly, this video was therapy. Thanks Mr Espinoza and Elektron.
i love the layback-relax mood of this!
I really dig this guys approach. Real open and views the world as his sound pallet and the digitakt as his brush.
I recently purchased a field recorder and I can't wait to incorporate it into my music. I love hiking and the sounds I hear when I'm feeling at peace out in the bush and I'm excited to try and share that feeling with the music I put out.
This is so great! I’ve been a fan of Aaron’s work for many years, since 2004 or so. Love seeing him geeking out over the digitakt and 404, which are my preferred music making boxes (along with a Yamaha QY70). Thanks for this, it was fun to watch :)
Awesome video! Thank you!
Great insights, thanks elektron for sharing this, I can see now we all have shared feelings regarding the Elektron boxes among its users. Digitakt is just so inspiring!
heck yeah bro, digitakt + sp404 = BFFs forever!
I love the whole vibe of this video. Thank you for sharing! Recently picked up both a digitakt and sp404mkii and love how they play together.
This is amazing! This device works so well with acoustic instrument like acoustic guitar! I am a guitar player as well and just bought Digitakt. Really inspiring video, thanks for this!
Ok, Elektron convinced me with this video. I am placing my order now!
That was very inspiring to watch!
Thanks for sharing
Love this approach & the Jack Hargreaves inspirational art - superb ❤
I have both an SP404mkII and a digitakt and the possibilities are endless. Sampling is so powerful and meditative! And to my experience digitakt is super easy to use unlike what most people say, especially comparing to the SP. The only thing I don't understand is why there is no goddamn arpeggiator on either of these.. it is such an important feature!

Funny that he clearly taped over any elektron logo and just took the one on the top off for the video
...
That's what a lot of performing artists do. Google is your friend.
does anybody know how to find aaron’s material he releases using this? the small snippet from this song feels so beautiful i really want to hear more!!!
What input you plug guitar into digitakt ? How did you activate it in settings on digitakt?
love the glasses, what brand are they? Digitakt is one of those devices I know I will never sell.
Idk, I’m itb. We’ll see. Cool vid.
Still waiting for a new OT with decent converters. Probably going to be waiting forever. Good thing there’s dRambo.
why black tape over the brand name & model name?

chileno?
You seem like a real dude true audio addict. Me too. Over the past year I have really gotten into the practice of practicing on a schedule. 30 minutes minimum three times a day even if I’m just searching the menu. Sorry if this is long. I agree with the soulfulness of Elektron. That being said I really like the work flow. In your opinion (I am not a precessional or do gigs but I have a musical background that goes back 30 plus years. I have around 1500 bucks to spend on a big purchase before I go back into my normal rotation of buying, selling, using and trading my smaller effects and things around a few hundred dollars. Do I
A. Buy a mk2 analog
B. Buy a mk1 analog rtym and a mk1 analog four
I plan on keeping whatever I get a least 2 years. Thanks for your help and good luck.
What do you have now?
B.
I have the Mk2 RYTM and Mk2 A4 but went back and got the Mk1 of both so I can take them out live and not have such expensive gear around. The mk1s get the job done amazingly with next to no differences in sound.
