Absolutely loved how you mentioned not knowing how the clap was made, then describing it to us as you found out! And the tracks you built are super inspiring. Appreciate your art.

Andrew, very clear explanation of FM. I've had to explain FM more than a few times and you do it quite well. Also, great concise overview of the Digitone. Elektron makes super clever gear making it a bit hard to demo, this was very well done.

"What the F is FM Synthesis" is the greatest FM explanation I've ever seen.
Even my gf is willing to watch it, cause I've never been good in trying to explain FM to her.

Hi Andrew. Great synth demo and great FM explanation! I loved the paper modular. Just so you know, I believe the word "Operator" refers to the combination of oscillator and envelope that modulates that oscillators volume. It got coined by Yamaha in their DX synths as a way of organizing the incredible variety of ways you could patch up an FM synth.

5:14 sounds just like hyper light drifter, or maybe even some other stuff by disasterpeace.

Elijah L I'm thinking about a 8 bit/low resolution/indie game. Maybe undertale. But it's definitely not hyper light drifter, since I recognize the song, but never played hyper light.

Great explanation, I've been working with FM for a time now but never really understood what really is happening with the sounds when I'm twisting some knobs :D
