MOWING IN ONE OF THE MOST DANGEROUS AREAS OF FLORIDA

- Hey there, fellow adventurers! I've got an incredible tale to share with you all - a wild escapade that took me to the heart of Fort Pierce, Florida, right at the crossroads of Avenue D and 13th Street. Picture this: an overgrown lawn like you wouldn't believe, with vines running riot and even creeping up the sides of the house!
Now, here's the real kicker - lizards. Loads of 'em! Coming from Oklahoma, where these elusive creatures are a rare sight, I was in awe. These colorful little critters were all over the place, bringing a touch of exotic wonder to the scene.
But that's not all. There was this moment when I nearly took an unexpected plunge. Yep, you guessed it - there was a water cistern or septic tank lurking in the backyard, hidden beneath what I thought was just another piece of wood. Imagine my surprise! It was a close call, let me tell you.
And here's where I've got to give a massive shoutout to my buddy, Al Bladez. He's the real MVP who let me in on his equipment, making this whole adventure possible. Huge thanks to Al for being a part of this crazy journey!
So, join me as I take you through this wild, overgrown oasis in Fort Pierce. Vines, lizards, hidden surprises, and all. It's a story of nature reclaiming its space, one lizard at a time. Can't wait to have you along for the ride!

The world needs more guys like you and Al and AP . God Bless all of you who go out and help others.
Growing up watching The Simpsons I never would have thought I would enjoy watching someone mow and clean yards. But I do. I love having this channel in the background while I am working. It's that pleasant white noise I need to help me focus on my work. And just the thought that it might help you out when the ads run just makes me feel good.
It's become a comforting sound for me too. I put it on while I do crocheting. My other option is music. These have both stories and conversation and music, and visual.
I used to take care of my mom's yard and power washed the sidewalks when I was a lot younger. I can't do that anymore (I live in a condo, I'm disabled) and I miss mowing power washing.
I use this as my background noise while I work too
what did it for me, I was just looking for videos on how well mulching mowers handle fallen leaves, found it visually satisfying, before I knew it I was well into the rabbit-hole, and well, I'm still here 🤪 LOL
I like watching someone else work! And it motivates me to get out there and sweat a little too!
I love watching your channels i lost my husband a few months ago and by watching you I have leaned alot about cutting the yard thank you for everything you do my God bless you and your family
Never in my life I would have thought watching someone mow lawns would be satisfying, but now I’m addicted. Keep up the great work
Just me or anyone else get super nervous when Kevin lifts up any wood pieces in these crazy yards? I bet he has seen some things! We need a story time video lol
my brain just screams! it's like snakes/spiders/scorpions! DEATH IS UNDER THERE!
Yep...No telling what 😮is under there!!!
Yeah, it gets me apprehensive. Like what is hiding under there.😟
I would be lot more nervous if he was here in Australia. We have 10 out of the top 11 venomous snakes in the world and all but 1 or 2 can be found in and around homes. We also have one of the most venomous spiders in the world which is very common in peoples gardens in the state of New South Wales.
Way too many nasty snakes and lizards in Florida to do that. He also does not wear gloves and picks up junk and debris. Makes me crazy!
Mowing where no man has mowed before and will not after this, unless armed to the hilt.
Great job as always. I love that Al Bladez lent his equipment to you for the day.
Al is an awesome man! And so are you! 🤗
How you like the JohnDeere
@@christinekluepfel4313 We don't mention that name.
Ok bos
I always worry when I see his truck is in front yard and he’s in the back.
Thank you for all you do. As a disabled vet it makes me proud the way you help out those who cannot and stand for our military. May God bless you and your family in the richest way for the humble spirit and servant attitude you have for all people no matter their politics or beliefs. Thank you again from all the armed forces.
I see what you’re saying here! Despite our politics, he communicates a clear moral message that can be shared by anyone
Truly amazing how much a yard being mowed can improve the image of a neighborhood good job Kevin
Exactly 😊
@@pinkzgreenzlawnzgardenz6299 Hey, PinkZ
@@sophiesmith5922 hey there, Sophie! How r ya? Blessed, yes?😊
I watch you a lot but just found this one. Great job and thanks for caring about the deceased.❤
Even being abandoned you’re helping far more than you know! Eliminating a danger area for an entire neighborhood is huge 🤗
Underneath the plywood is a septic tank with only half a lid, the other half missing or broken. Be proud you didn't fall through into that!! Yikes!!!! I enjoy your videos and the service you perform for others. Keep up the great work!!
That's exactly what it is. It's also a death trap for children. The lid should be replaced or it should be filled in immediately. A quick Google search will show how dangerous they are to children if not maintained.
Why is there a septic tank? An old one or a working one? Doesn't look that rural to me.
@@deineadam2240 It may have been rural at one time or in an unincorporated part of City/County.
Maintenance on a still fs85
@@deineadam2240, Most older communities in Florida septic tanks. (Quite a few have water wells too.) There was no reason to waste money on expensive infrastructure projects when septic tanks work so well in Florida due to the sandy soil.
Great job on this abandoned home. It’s amazing how much of an improvement can be just removing the tall grass and doing trim work. Thank you for helping the community.
Beautiful work! What a difference you are making in so many people's lives. Love it!
Love your videos fr canada ,NFLD
We need to transfer all your abandon houses to California for the homeless. I'm so glad you tube pays enough for you guys to reach out to those who do not have time or cannot take care of their property. I'd love to see other folks in the plumbing, electrical and painting industries take up the challenge.
I thought that mower looked familiar. Absolutely great job! Al you are also awesome for helping Kevin out. God blessings on both of you and your family.
Dude, you are a saint. Thank you in continuing to do what you do, while also letting us watch.
I thought I would never get as much enjoyment watching someone cut grass. I love the work you do and watching an overgrown property turn into a beautiful place. You do so much for the community and never expect anything in return. Kepp up the hard more you do and I look forward to more of your videos. Also are the videos on the boring channel on your regular channel? I really like your voice overs.
Kevin you did an Awesome job on this property. You are definitely one of the best examples of kindness that we so desperately need in the world right now! God Bless you for all you do for others. Hugs from Fl
Another successful garden complete. You are a Rockstar ❤❤❤
a full solid sunny, hot, humid day of physical work, sunburn and all, and still has a smile and positive attitude at the end. super-human. thank you for helping those in need.
You and Al Blades are my favorites. I know I'm getting old cuz my interest is in stuff I hate to do it when I was younger. I like to see how you guys collab using each other's equipment I watch you so much I recognize Al's lawn mower immediately. Continue doing what you doing because God is surely blessing you.
I saw the truck and I knew it was Al. Then the mower
Absolutly loving this. Just did 3 lawns today, and here I am watching you cut a lawn. People tell me I'm weird for doing this, especially the really high stuff like this. But I love it.
What a beautiful job on this one. The community appreciates how much better the curb appeal is. You are doing such an amazing job helping so many people. Love your channel and content.. May God bless you. ❤🇨🇦
If your channel wasn't already so well-known, you would actually have to rename it. Your channel isn't boring. It is very inspiring, and a document for a very hard-working man.
I know it is a lot of hard work for you, but I find your videos very relaxing to me. There is something so satisfying about watching a insane overgrowth like this one turn into something beautiful.
You’re a bloody good human!
Big up from Tasmania, Australia.
Love what you do ✊
Sorry I should have waited for the whole video to finish. I would of heard you say Al's stuff silly me. 😜
The transformations you create are always amazing. Even when you don’t have time to completely detail and polish every little thing …it’s still awesome! I’d definitely be excited to see you there if I was one of the neighbors. Nice work as always!
True - but the polish and finesse is what puts him above ALL the rest. I've not seen another "mower" that does the little things that make Kevin "the best" - I feel cheated when it's just a "wham bam" sort of hit and run job.
Yep, cookarachas, fleas, fire ants, rats, geckos, snakes, alligators, bed bugs, termites. Lots of crazy Florida wildlife down here in Fl. And I've lived here for 20 years and have never seen anything like that weird thing at @ 5:00 minutes. It looked a little wet so my best guess is something for plumbing. But it's a first for me.
well done, and good on Al for allowing you to play with his equipment. Raised in S Florida, I would caution....please be careful lifting plywood that's been on the ground "a while". Coral snakes and other truly potential-for-harm critters love the dark, earthy places to have their babies. Looking forward to the next one!
I'm a native Floridian, too, and I was cringing when he picked up the pallet, and the swimming pool, and that plywood. He could've gotten stung by a spider, or bitten by a snake, or a brown recluse. Fire ants too. I would have used a shovel or some long-handled tool to move the stuff before I touched it. Florida is not like ANY other state in the nation. Gotta be extra careful walking through that grass too, chiggers, ticks, more snakes, bees, hornets, mice, rats, the list is long.
@@trubluecrafter1060 and @Joyce Judd. I hope he sees these comments. Wise advise!
I was just thinking about a body underneath but now I also realize I’m scared for even stepping in a shoe that’s been outside for like a week- cuz of spiders, and we don’t even have Andy deadly spiders here 😭
I'm in North Carolina and we've gone loads of critters here too. I have a pretty hard rule, I don't put my feet ANYWHERE that I can see the ground! 🤣
Please wear gloves. I enjoy watching you,B e careful, and stay safe.
Hi: Thank you for doing all of this terrific work and making a huge difference in people's lives, especially for their safety and health!
It's also great when you help elderly or disabled folks, you're a godsend! Wishing you some well deserved financial return from your endeavors!👍🍷
Thanks Al for the loaner!! Awesome job on the yard. Hope the critters appreciate your hard work. Great job on editing video. 💙
Thought that looked like Al's rig. Fantastic job as always Kevin.
I started watching you first and you did such an awesome job - first class work!!! I used to mow, weed eat, and blow off our own yard but never in roadway!! Can’t do it now but really enjoy watching you!! Husband taught our son the correct way to mow a yard and he used to mow yards from junior high thru high school to make his spending money. Plus play sports!! We were very proud of him too!! Daughter was trained same way!! Very good kids!! Very proud of both!! Now son is 56 and daughter will be 50 this year!! God bless you and your family!!
Great job. looks like a home again. I enjoy watching your channel.
Thank you for all you do, I enjoy watching your videos as I am a disabled Vet.
Just thinking every person on earth to take even one half day to help those less fortunate, not just lawn care but baby sitting taking people to grocery shop or to a doctor or dentist or do a hair cut or clean out a fridge or stove or just vacuuming or dusting…you my dear man are like others that give help one of Gods treasures. Thank you ♥️
Wonderful what you do to help people and their communities.
Hopefully with all the homeless people in this country, that this won't stay empty for long. It's freshly painted, a very pretty color, and now that you've done your magic on the yard, hopefully somebody will be able to enjoy it soon. I'm sure the neighbors were happy to see it neat and cleaned up, debris picked up because you always go above and beyond to make sure you do a thorough job, no matter where the property is. Thank you again for all that you do !!
It is a nice color but I still wouldn't live there.
@@hattiem.7966 that’s the way I feel about that ENTIRE state!
The homelwill burn it down cooking and heating over an open fire. It happens all the time. Also a stupid careless smoker. Great practice for the fire department use
That's what I'm thinking...what a cute little place...
@@marciclark8266 I agree. It’s a pretty color. Odd that I didn’t see a back door but it’s a cute looking house. I always wonder about the backstory of the home that led to it being vacant.
AWESOME yard transformation as ALWAYS Kevin🫶
You are helping out. Cleaning up abandoned homes & lawns IS a great help to it’s neighbors.
That's what Al does everyday-cut it up. Great job! Thanks for visiting Florida and giving of your time and service. Blessings
Hard work and dedication. You obviously love your Job and it shows with the care and time you take.
I really appreciate that you walk through the tall growth before mowing. Picking up trash and making sure there aren't animals hiding in the yard.
I listened to this video to help me get to sleep; the mower is a relaxing white noise. ❤️ Thank you for your videos!
Thank you for all you do to help folks. Blessings on you and your loved ones.
huge fan of what you’ve been doing! definitely my favorite lawn care channel. no video ever disappoints! if you’re ever back in NWFL, i know of a couple yards through my neighborhood that need help. i usually try to keep up with them but both my riding mower and push mower quit out on me, so i’m back to renting a mower from my local equipment rental place. keep up the GREAT work!
I think it looks 1000 % better than it did when You first started. I’m afraid to even guess what that little pit is about. I’m sure the neighbors are happy to see this eyesore go away. Blessings to Al Bladez for being a good Friend and letting you borrow his equipment. Blessings to You and Your Family for all the work You do. Love the videos, especially the before and after photos. Nice job, Kevin on a gnarly yard. Thanks for picking up most of the litter. It's really sad to see all the litter in the yards of these abandoned properties. Be mindful of the sun in FL; it will really give you a burn. How do you like the John Deere. Nice of Al Bladez to lend it to you. Love to watch you guys collaborate. Keep the faith and drive heavily... water, that is. LOL. Safe travels. Happy trails from PA.
I enjoy these videos! I love that you help beautify neighborhoods, you can tell the other property owners care for their properties. It's such an eye sore to have a house with overgrown grass as a next door neighbor. I know they were delighted you helped out the neighborhood with this one.
Good job makes an empty place look trim. Thank you for your goodness ❤️
I love watching your work man. You rock and I'm thankful that there are people like you in this world. Keep up the good work bud. 👍
Wow, thank goodness you always check everything before you use your big mower. It would've been ugly otherwise. Another amazing job, Kevin! I have a funny feeling that nobody else will be taking care of that yard. But what matter is that you did what God has put in your heart to do. Be safe and God bless!!!
