Last year while on our tour we stopped in Texas where I found this overgrown lawn.
When you do these jobs at random like I do you never know who is going to answer the door but I truly believe that the lord guides me to the right places. In this case a man named Ronald answered the door and while talking to him I could tell that it was circumstances that were out of his control that lead to his overgrown lawn. He was on oxygen so at this state there is no way he could do it himself... that's where I come in and I am always happy to help.
after we got his lawn mowed and at a manageable height, I wanted to make sure that he did not have the problem again so I Hired a local lawn company to take care of the lawn for us. BIG THANK YOU TO (RO) in Galveston for keeping Ronald's lawn looking beautiful for him.
Recently we found out that Ronald passed away and I would like to give my deepest condolences to his family.

When you come across people like that it’s to bad you can’t set him up with a lawn care person that would keep it up for him after you’ve moved on!
That's actually what we did. In the end, you will see me hire a lawn guy. I paid the bill until he passed away, and the family took over.

@@Hatbox948 he has 2 channels the main channel is Lawn Care Juggernaut and on that channel he adds commentary and church sermons, his wife suggested that he do a channel without that stuff for the people who prefer it that way so he calls this channel The Boring Channel.
If I remember correctly, and it's been a while since I saw it, on an earlier video he said a lot of people were asking for videos of the work with less editing and less voiceover commentary that he did on his other channel. So out of that the Boring Channel was birthed.

You absolutely gave the gentleman a bigger gift than you realize! Being a disabled woman I know this gave him back his dignity. There are things I physically can't do anymore. I feel so ashamed of how regular tasks go undone and things start to look dirty and horrible. My sister has come and helped me by washing walls, vacuuming and giving my bathroom a deep clean. It is amazing how it helps to lift the cloud of depression. I know how this gentleman must have been lifted by your generosity. I'm so sorry he passed. You and the company you hired afterwards helped bring some peace in his final days. God bless you!!

The best line in the video is when you said something about your wife packing your lunch because you might forget to eat or go get something...because you didn't know where you were. I would be the same way in a strange town! I might go to lunch and not find my way back! You made this mans last days so much easier for him. He deserved that. You will forever be blessed for helping him and making sure that his grass was cut for the rest of the year.

You are fantastic and so kind to people. There are more channels like this popping up on UA-cam thanks to your good example. What distinguish you is your faith and that your family is also into this. I have never heard you talking bad about anyone. If you mention someone else it is always a nice comment. Your kindness is obviously giving hope and joy to everyone, even me in Sweden. I kind of miss the episodes where someone is preaching while you are working. The boring channel is never boring.
Youre helping lots of people, not just the homeowner. Getting rid of all thst tall weed reduces rodents which reduces snakes etc.
I seriously enjoy watching a professional at work. You don't just mow it once, but 3 times. You don't just edge it once but go back and hit it again until it's right. Your average family member would've been a one-and-done. This man really needed your help! Many love sitting outside in the shade, even on a hot day and you've given this gentleman that freedom again. I'm sorry to learn of his passing but for the remainder of his days, you gave him one less worry. Loved this Kevin and Rachel!

Agree 100%. When we first moved in, the lady across the street who appeared to be in her early to mid 70's w a large corner lot, was hand mowing her lawn in this Tx heat. My Husband, who is about the same age, offered to mow her lawn w a riding lawn mower. She was not happy about the offer and said she can't stand riding lawn mowers and preferred to do it herself... so, we tried. She still does her lawn [ her husband had open heart surgery ] but we had to go to a lawn service about 3 yrs ago bc we just couldn't do it any longer.

My comment today is not about you mowing, but rather it's about the example your wife sets for other young wives. I've been happily married for a very long time. I'm genuinely amazed at how many girls want a husband and a family, but don't know how to go about it. My advice is to talk to older women about how they cared for their husband and their marriages. "Happy wife, Happy Life" and "Happy Husband , Happy Home." These are old sayings and really true. Seeing your wife doing old-fashioned things like packing you a lunch! Writing a note of appreciation! These are very old-fashioned things, but they still work wonders to let your hubby know that you love and appreciate him. Take notes, girls!

You are Amazing Kevin!!! I'm a 61 year old widow & I own & live on just under an acre. I have a push mower & it takes me literally days to mow my grass ! Seriously I mowed like 2 weeks ago & I started on a Friday & mowed for 5 hours of course taking many 15 minute breaks,for water rest & bathroom time , Continues 3 hours on Saturday; 3 hours on Sunday & 30 minutes on Monday !!! Now I'm not complaining,but it's really hard on me . But I try to look at it like I'm just glad I'm able to do it ,cause for certain I won't be able to do it myself!!! But sometimes it's overwhelming since by the time I spend 4 or 5 days mowing when I'm done it's time to start all over again!!! That's life !!!

A good thought to be looking at back alleys. Good that man had an access ramp to use. As you mowed, you could see that even the basic access was threatened by overgrowth. Excellent thought to have provided subsequent lawn service for them. One major stress less to deal with. You always say Rachael has a good heart, that was a nice note from her. What is striking me on this job is compassion. Help was badly needed and you have tackled high mowing, a difficult ramp to clear under, edging, and all and it is very much so coming back into order, safety and some dignity.
