As I single Mom I bought a smaller old home. Every time I would pull up in my driveway I would see how chipped the paint was on my home. It was discouraging. A group of High School kids got donations and came and painted my home. They cleaned up the yard and pulled weeds. They even planted flowers. I got to choose the paint even. My children and I appreciated this so very much. I will never forget it.
It great that there are good people out there who will help people when they need help. Its even better to kn I w that there are members of the younger generation who are not all about themselves.
That's really amazing the school kids done that for you, Im from N Ireland and il be honest, I know and see the school kids here, and I honestly don't think any would do a thing like that, it seems in today's world it really bothers them to lift their heads up and say a simple hello. Also of spoilt kids, and they are a completely different breed than in my days, I'm 38yold and I think the world is becoming soulless .

All of these things plus many more things all play a part of how much a creator makes on a video. I know creators who have a million views on a video and made less than $500 on that video. You are throwing out big numbers that mean absolutely nothing and for the life of me, I can’t really understand why you’d even care what they make in ad sense when they are doing such great work for FREE for many people all over the USA. The point remains...the people receiving the work are not paying a cent to have this work done and viewers also aren’t paying a thing to watch great content, they don’t have it stuck behind a pay wall. Not only did they do it for free, but they did a complete and quality job, no half ass cut corners and they did every little thing, caulking the siding, the spray foam, boarding up gaps and fixing the porch, a perfect paint job and went the extra mile to decorate with plants and flowers. Everything about this is amazing.

I struggle with mental illness and I only leave my house to walk my dog. I have somehow managed to become very isolated. I have to tell you that watching your channel has brought me a huge amount of joy. Watching you and your family doing all this good in the world has made me feel not so alone. Hey, from Canada! Your story sounds very similar to my own. I only go out when I have to walk the dogs. My dogs are really What helps me with my mental illness. They are so full of love. I don't think we deserve dogs. They're just too pure and Humans are evil. I like animals better than I do people. LOL Keep fighting! It does get better. When you look at the world we live in it does seem that people are evil but don’t lose all hope because there are still plenty of good amazing humans on the planet. It reminded me of restoring my parent's house as a kid. Their bowling league helped us paint, my grandparents came from out of state (both sets) to help stretch carpeting and replace plumbing, and just the for of us working on everything all the time.
I'm very late. This made me very emotional. This is exactly what America needs. We have a lot of politicians who want us to divide us, but we see through them. This is what we are made of. This is what this country stands for. Lifting each other up! Supporting our neighbors. Loving each other and paying it forward. I'm so glad you had both families involved in this. What a blessing for all. For the family that recieved the love, and learn new skills. For the family who was able to give so much, and got even more in return. That message is exactly what we all need to hear! ❤
What I love about watching this video is that the idea was to repaint the home. Which takes a lot of work, but once they got into the project, it seems the bond happened and more and more love went into the home's new look!
I am also a senior and believe me it's hard to find someone to help with handy man stuff. Then when you find someone they charge a fortune or don't show up. These guys are great and show their love from their hearts, not trying to stick it to a senior. Bless you guys and the work you do. 🙏❤

When the two older women hugged, it was the most beautiful. They have grown up in the same era and have seen many things happen, and the two women speaking to each other in that moment was just precious. I am assuming they’re from Gen X (my generation) or the boomer generation. The flag was the icing on the cake. ❤❤❤

I just became a new subscriber. After watching this episode and reading the comments it just warmed my heart and renewed my faith in well at least some. I’m 68 a mom and retired military veteran. I’m a woman of great faith and God’s word says He created us in His image and my interpretation is that includes every shade of color. You two are a wonderful example of what “Love Thy Neighbor” means. Just imagine what the world would be like if we all just reached out once a day and provided someone with a random act of kindness. This doesn’t have to be as awesome as painting someone’s house it can be just a simple hello how are you, can I get that door for you etc. this dad led a great example for his son to follow and I bet this son is teaching his own children the act of “Love Thy Neighbor “. May the good Lord bless you and watch over and protect you as you continue to share the of caring and sharing your gifts and talents.

Once my dad was getting rid of some old furniture and as he was putting it outside this lady comes and asks if she can take it my dad was like “of course!!” And she started explaining how she just moved here and was poor, she was being mistreated by her landlord because she was black. My dad was so moved he said wait and ran back inside and grabbed every furniture we didn’t need and gave it to her. I’m talking about a whole set of dining chairs, a bunch of furniture . She started crying and thanking him saying that he was angel. My dad was so happy our unwanted furniture got to help someone in need.
I was crying right along with the homeowner. I think of how many times she would have wanted to fix her home up, but bills and life get in the way. You best believe she will pay it forward. Just a blessing to watch🙏
That's what I thought about too. Pulling up to her tired ol' house everyday wishing to make upgrades. Then it actually happening then her pulling up to it everyday and smiling and amazed still everyday gift that keeps on giving.

One of hope, friendship, dedication and/or love all titled something a bit different. On many nights this "last story" is clipped due to time, but quite often even on a busy news day they still fit it in.

That home went from the "uh-oh" of the neighborhood to the pride of the neighborhood! I love how both families came together, worked together, and built lasting friendships. In these hard, hard times, we all have to be fam to survive.

You two men…what an incredible job you just did…you “reinvented” this family a new home. The mom- she was in shock and awe the whole time. She was the one who appreciated it the most. She knew how much time, money, patience and WORK went into painting that home…something that she could not do herself. Her plate is always full with with mouths to feed, cloths to wash, homework to do etc.. she just doesn’t have the time, unfortunately. The 2 HEROES- that’s what I’ll call them, along with their wives and kids(s) - one has a very cool daughter, she helped out the mom’s with the plants that they placed in the front yard, along with the lights- great idea! All around, the HEROES get an A++ on this. Do they just do people’s lawn’s? I can’t remember, so sorry. This has to be one of the best FEEL GOOD stories - we’ll do this for someone in need story - that I have ever seen. Bravo to these 2 men. BRAVO!!!

One of my favorite friends had terminal cancer. Her house was really peeling. I am a woman in my 60's with skills. In July, I prepped the entire house by myself with Peel Stop and Kitz . Then her family and I painted the house. We even let my friend paint a 2 x 4 section. She loved the way her home turned out. Sadly, she passed away in March, but she enjoyed her house until then. We were so happy to make her smile before she transitioned to Paradise.
Seeing them hang the American flag was truely inspiring. This is what our country was built on. Not any one person but a collection of people from all walks of life helping one another because it's the right thing to do. No agendas, no hidden objectives just love of your neighbor. God bless America!

The renovation is fantastic, but most importantly, with all the caulking you did for the house the insulation will dramatically reduce her power bill and that alone is a major plus. It is truly a blessing when you help people out and it creates a domino effect.

I have lived in the same house for 35 years this year (2022) . I have never been able to afford paint or do any other type of "upkeep". I cannot imagine how happy this family was to have this type of generosity ! God bless all of you !
Your comment hit me in the heart, my momma and dad bought this house brand new 25 years ago. My momma passed in this house 13 years ago. The paint was original cheep paint that rotted the wood once it stopped protecting. I scrunched and saved and found an angel that was local that would do the painting and outside wood work that was rotting and falling apart for little cost, I paid for the paint & supplies and gave them a little extra. I still, a year later just stand outside and look at this amazing house with so many memories in awe at the fresh paint & new wood! I know Miss Patricia is doing the same every single day! Not only did they do it for free, but they did a complete and quality job, no half ass cut corners and they did every little thing, caulking the siding, the spray foam, boarding up gaps and fixing the porch, a perfect paint job and went the extra mile to decorate with plants and flowers. Everything about this is amazing.

I just love the fact that they brought their children with them to assist, and that right there is how a future is built.
It reminded me of restoring my parent's house as a kid. Their bowling league helped us paint, my grandparents came from out of state (both sets) to help stretch carpeting and replace plumbing, and just the for of us working on everything all the time.
I'm very late. This made me very emotional. This is exactly what America needs. We have a lot of politicians who want us to divide us, but we see through them. This is what we are made of. This is what this country stands for. Lifting each other up! Supporting our neighbors. Loving each other and paying it forward. I'm so glad you had both families involved in this. What a blessing for all. For the family that recieved the love, and learn new skills. For the family who was able to give so much, and got even more in return. That message is exactly what we all need to hear! ❤

What I love about watching this video is that the idea was to repaint the home. Which takes a lot of work, but once they got into the project, it seems the bond happened and more and more love went into the home's new look!
I am also a senior and believe me it's hard to find someone to help with handy man stuff. Then when you find someone they charge a fortune or don't show up. These guys are great and show their love from their hearts, not trying to stick it to a senior. Bless you guys and the work you do. 🙏❤

When the two older women hugged, it was the most beautiful. They have grown up in the same era and have seen many things happen, and the two women speaking to each other in that moment was just precious. I am assuming they’re from Gen X (my generation) or the boomer generation. The flag was the icing on the cake. ❤❤❤

I just became a new subscriber. After watching this episode and reading the comments it just warmed my heart and renewed my faith in well at least some. I’m 68 a mom and retired military veteran. I’m a woman of great faith and God’s word says He created us in His image and my interpretation is that includes every shade of color. You two are a wonderful example of what “Love Thy Neighbor” means. Just imagine what the world would be like if we all just reached out once a day and provided someone with a random act of kindness. This doesn’t have to be as awesome as painting someone’s house it can be just a simple hello how are you, can I get that door for you etc. this dad led a great example for his son to follow and I bet this son is teaching his own children the act of “Love Thy Neighbor “. May the good Lord bless you and watch over and protect you as you continue to share the of caring and sharing your gifts and talents.

Once my dad was getting rid of some old furniture and as he was putting it outside this lady comes and asks if she can take it my dad was like “of course!!” And she started explaining how she just moved here and was poor, she was being mistreated by her landlord because she was black. My dad was so moved he said wait and ran back inside and grabbed every furniture we didn’t need and gave it to her. I’m talking about a whole set of dining chairs, a bunch of furniture . She started crying and thanking him saying that he was angel. My dad was so happy our unwanted furniture got to help someone in need.

I don't know what “news” you are watching, but CBS, NBC, and ABC all have at the end of their Evening News a good news story. One of hope, friendship, dedication and/or love all titled something a bit different. On many nights this "last story" is clipped due to time, but quite often even on a busy news day they still fit it in.

This is a win- win for everyone. Homeowner gets help fixing up her exterior. The workers get to help others ( no better feeling in the world) and cement their own family and teach their daughter about helping others. The homeowner is very appreciative and sweet. Love this. I subscribed.
That home went from the "uh-oh" of the neighborhood to the pride of the neighborhood! I love how both families came together, worked together, and built lasting friendships. In these hard, hard times, we all have to be fam to survive.

You two men…what an incredible job you just did…you “reinvented” this family a new home. The mom- she was in shock and awe the whole time. She was the one who appreciated it the most. She knew how much time, money, patience and WORK went into painting that home…something that she could not do herself. Her plate is always full with with mouths to feed, cloths to wash, homework to do etc.. she just doesn’t have the time, unfortunately.
The 2 HEROES- that’s what I’ll call them, along with their wives and kids(s) - one has a very cool daughter, she helped out the mom’s with the plants that they placed in the front yard, along with the lights- great idea! All around, the HEROES get an A++ on this. Do they just do people’s lawn’s? I can’t remember, so sorry. This has to be one of the best FEEL GOOD stories - we’ll do this for someone in need story - that I have ever seen. Bravo to these 2 men. BRAVO!!!

One of my favorite friends had terminal cancer. Her house was really peeling. I am a woman in my 60's with skills. In July, I prepped the entire house by myself with Peel Stop and Kitz . Then her family and I painted the house. We even let my friend paint a 2 x 4 section. She loved the way her home turned out. Sadly, she passed away in March, but she enjoyed her house until then. We were so happy to make her smile before she transitioned to Paradise.
Very sorry for your loss, but I bet she was very luck to have a friend like you in her life.

The renovation is fantastic, but most importantly, with all the caulking you did for the house the insulation will dramatically reduce her power bill and that alone is a major plus. It is truly a blessing when you help people out and it creates a domino effect.

The paint was original cheep paint that rotted the wood once it stopped protecting. I scrunched and saved and found an angel that was local that would do the painting and outside wood work that was rotting and falling apart for little cost, I paid for the paint & supplies and gave them a little extra. I still, a year later just stand outside and look at this amazing house with so many memories in awe at the fresh paint & new wood! I know Miss Patricia is doing the same every single day!
