Yes this is a custom palette I made using an empty magnetic palette from the brand Shellwe makeup and my own shades! Shades are all listed in a comment on the Short :)
Great question! I find them to be fairly stable and that they don't move around much. However pan sizes and pan hole sizes aren't always exact so occasionally something might have a bit more room to move or be too tight. On the whole though, very sturdy because the magnets are strong.

When you use this kind of palette, do the pans move around as you rub your finger in the eyeshadow, or are they more stable?
