Now I get how the terms differ and how the quadrants are framed which is the very basis of color analysis. Now I can send this much clarity to my loved ones ❤
I LOVE how thorough and how good you explained color theory. However, some of the DIY tips you spoke of didn't line up with other current professional color annalists. Also, from what I have seen from others, we want colors to harmonize with us, not make us look washed out, look gray, look yellow, or people see the color instead of see us. I don't know if it was the camera or my monitor, but even if your blue shirt was pretty on you, my eyes kept going to it, as if the color was the star and not you. Either way, your efforts for the video are still super appreciated from at least the points of "color theory". Thank you!

Some personal analysts don’t believe in hair and eye colors. They just look into your skin. And I also believe this because many people with black hair and black eyes their colors are warm. And with light hairs they turned out to be winter

Thank you! This is the first online test that really worked for me, I already know my season but I sometimes do these tests out of curiosity and they always just pick my warm hair color and immediately put me in autumn. This one results in winter - where I and my wardrobe belong :) The first question could be a bit improved If only sweaters in our favorite color are picked because color analysis is for colors that cover a large area under the face, so colors of t-shirts, tops, and scarfs do not really say a lot. My results: 4 x cool, 1 x warm, 1 x neutral, high contrast
The blue 💙 top you are wearing looks amazing on you!!! I have warm undertones & definitely would look shocking in that colour, as much as i do love it!

You explained everything very well and summarized it in a great way. I discovered recently (can't remember where, because I read about it in many websites) the importance of our color in the perception of a season. I thought I was cool or neutral because I burn, but then tan. However cool colors don't look right and I noticed my hair has copper highlights. I'm warm and that's the reason I can look tanned even though people with the same skin color can't and the copper of my hair can be evident because it's light brown. I have a friend that is also warm but her hair is so dark that we can't see the warmth yet when she dyes it in a warm and light shade we can see that matches her perfectly. Maybe your hair is too dark to seem warm, like my skin that looks too light to see a hint of warm but when I compare it with someone similar (cool season) I see it's warm

Girl you are probably a winter, that blue and the dark purple jacket looked incredible next to your skin, if you look carefully the light purple would make you look more yellowy, and your contrast overpowers it. Dark eyes and some green veins doesn't mean warm undertone. Everyone has an opinion (and maybe the camera also alters your skin colours) but you should compare the dark winter or true winter against the other options that you think fit you better. On cool olive skin you should see that your lips, eyes, eyebrows pop out nicely, cheeks and lips look bit bit more rossy wearing the right season. I've had a similar experience, and people would tell me that I should wear war colors because I tan. Far from truth!!
Undertone and temperature is not as important as people think it is. Color theory has three aspects, it’s about depth, intensity AND temperature. Very few people are super golden/warm or super cool/icy - most of us are in the middle and just barely lean one way or the other. e.g. I’m a dark autumn and I look great in cool colors as long as they’re deep and intense (“bright” ) like navy/admiral blue and gunmetal grey
Great point! I have discussed this in the video. You can wear any color it's the depth and intensity that counts - quoted from Color me Beautiful. But i do think undertones are important too. 😊 I am going to cover how to find medium ranges in Part 2.

Can you make a video on how to take care of your clothes so they last long? Eg after how many wears should you wash your clothes, how do you split your laundry, what is the right time to discard your clothes, in this age of wfh how to make sure that whatever we own is getting used
Thanks for sharing the color palette for different skin tone. I would say I am listening to a professional stylist ;) The blue sweater fit perfectly on you, love that!

Reaction to Sun : warm c. Skin against White : (pending !) d. Eye color : warm e. Hair color : cool f. Metal test : (pending !)
Great video! One quick suggestion: remember our darker sisters! For example you mentioned someone with light hair skin and eyes (me!) is low contrast. Would the same apply to someone with dark hair skin and eyes?
good explanation! Please keep in mind to be objective during your color analysis journey. We have a tendency to lean on our 'safe' colors and our judgement become bias. If you can't really tell the difference which color you are on the step 2 (which i believe most of us might have), its ok. Bcs our eyes are not trained like professional color anaylsis. When i was color analyzing by myself, i thought i was a light spring. Turns out ima bright spring after went to professional color analysis. That's why feel like "too burnt" when using autumn family colors, look pale and sick when i use muted color, and look old when using black. I was scared using bright color bcs its too striking for me, but turns out its my personal color lol. Hard to accept and working on it. Sorry for broken english
Regarding black hair - there is black with blue undertones (cool) and black with brown undertones (neutral/warm). You definitely fall into the latter category, so do I!

Just looked it up. She has done an amazing job 😊 thank you 🥰❤️
@@TheLifestyleCog I love the way you create outfits! You have done it nicely too! Looking forward to part 2 . Lots of love!
Dont apologize, you did a good job. Waiting for the part two.
You explain everything so clearly! Good work 👏🏻
Can you make a video on how to take care of your clothes so they last long? Eg after how many wears should you wash your clothes, how do you split your laundry, what is the right time to discard your clothes, in this age of wfh how to make sure that whatever we own is getting used

Just watched another video of yours. Glad I found you ❤
When is part 2 coming?! Sooo good! Thank you!
She has done it already.
Plz do add darker skin examples too so that they can also analyze their wardrobe staples ❤❤❤
This was a great video. Thanks for summarizing it in a simple, easy to follow video.
Best explanation of color analysis I've seen! 😊
