later but-- To be fair, Paradox didn't make this game. it was acquired by them for publishing, and like any good paradox acquired game, paradox turned it into nothing but overpriced DLC with no updates to the base game, no bug fixes, and a generally dissatisfied player-base from pre-acquisition. Which is why AA lowkey roasts it at the start of the video LOL

Also, you don't need to sell each log individually. There is an "Export" room that works like the delivery room, but the opposite, which will sell logs and other products for you.

@@ambiguousamphibian Yeah I was running real low on cash as well and I noticed you could sell the logs, and was selling them individually exactly how you were, but thought to myself "There has got to be a better way to do this, this is agonizing" and looked it up lmao
@@jacobhenn1504 Generally speaking, If no one else is capable/able to do said work outside of guard specific things I think the Yellow vest workmen will literally carry dead bodies to herses lol they basically do it all as far as moving items around... so you DON'T need a gardner if I'm not mistaken unless it's changed. I usually have a full roaster of staff, so workmen usually don't have to do any of that.
Truck delivery drivers will also unload trucks automatically slowly to prevent back-up in game, and it helps cut back from workmen's jobs.

@@DudeTheMighty well wages have been stable with inflation for a while. Of course this year, with the extreme inflation we've seen will probably result in lower wages - but in the years to come I expect very minimal inflation similar to 2009 and 2010
20 USD per day, in a full month of work (no resting days) is about 600 USD per month, which is about 4 times the minimal salary in Argentina :')... that accountant would be filthy rich living in Buenos Aires (I'm from Argentina heh)
The difference being that the cost of rent, food and other necessities is probably a bit lower in Argentina as well... if only because asking more than people have is a good way to ensure a complete lack of customers. There is the danger of a lot of the economy being geared toward providing for the rich while ignoring the people who produce everything, of course, but then that problem also exists in most wealthier countries as well.

Honestly, I feel like paradox ruined Prison Architect. They put in their own luncher within Steam which sucks, it constantly bombards you with ads for the DLC if you don't have it, some of the DLC adds hardly anything or stuff that was planned for the base game anyway.
It just feels like the EA guide to business. It's a good game but not because of anything they did, inherited then squandered it all away for money off of the backs of others.
It's also a rather flawed game because there is no real challenge or goals. And instead of fixing that they oversaturated the game with junk.
Sad thing is, this video shows how the Government actually operates.

As working in a state prison for over 10 years I will say that Admin staff would angrily pace around woth clip boards and some how got congratulated by the commissioner and promoted for line staff doing all the work to make things happen.
