Thanks for the helpful information on protecting my Android phone connection when using public Wi-Fi. I was wondering how this setup will be different from simply using my commercial VPN such as NordVPN? Does Instant Guard have a speed advantage over the other?

It is similar to using a commercial VPN in the way that in encrypts and tunnels the information through a VPN server. What is different is that with the commercial VPN , your info is transiting through a server that you don't control and also, you pay for the VPN service. Asus Instant guard is free and you are transiting your information through your home network.

Hi, can someone tell me why my instant guard app don't show me the share connection button at the top in the right?, also my router is configured with a private ip, also i configured port forwarding and i use de DDNS to get the Instant guard working

Hello, I have a wireless mesh from Asus with instant guard, I done every step in the video, but even the instant guard show connection secure, the ip remain the same. I don't use any kind of malware protection, so I guess it can't be from the firewall. Do you have any advice?

Can this router work as a range extender for another router

I thin yes , but it depends on the other router too , there are routers that are part of aimesh system which can work together one as router and one as extender

I bought the AX53U Router because I saw that the Instant Guard App was so useful. However, after connecting to the VPN, I couldn’t access the Internet.
