Sorry for the late reply, but i am 100% satisfied with Street Guardian. Great company, customer service is top notch, no issues. This is the 2nd one ive bought from them, the only reason I got this one is because its 2 cameras opposed to the last one was just 1 camera

i wanna do a hard wire for a vantrue n2 pro. gonna use the auxiliary power fuse slot. not sure if I need to piggy back
interesting you didn't have to take off the pillar cover.
Depending on the route you take, you might. I am finally going to hard wire mine, so i will need to remove the driver pillar to make sure i get behind the air bag.
@@kicks2024 Hey man, really helpful video. Did you get a chance to hard wire? How hard was it routing near the airbag? I have a dual channel and would like to route it down along the drivers side to the fuse box and also back to the rear camera.
@@nbnatale No I never got around to it. I got a bad rock chip in the windshield late spring so I wanted to wait until it as replaced before doing it.
how do you hardwire to the fuse box for parking mode? say with the thinkware u1000?
This cam has a kit for hardwiring, you just use the fuse taps included in the right spots and it works out.
I dont remember which ones to tap in to off the top of my head, i will check and get back to you.

Ammiel C just bought the u1000 2ch and I order the OBD I I plug instead of the hardware as a better option.

You squeezed your camera cable by the armrest.....not a good idea man.
Are you referring to where it goes in the center console area? I noticed I did afterwards ive adjusted the cable since so it didnt get pinched anymore. But hardwiring eliminates that problem as well.
