    1) Every unit matters, they level up and get much stronger but not only that, you can also sell vehicles(don't dissamseble) and sell or disbands soldiers to get either the curency, supplies or manpower.
    Manpower also drains supplies, 100 per reserve soldier per day so its much better to sell units
    Even more, every unit uses supplies when traveling so some very high cost units will eat up a lot of supply while simple drivers and technicians are basically free
    2) How to get tank crews. You can eventually recruit them but you can level up technicians to drive tanks or helicopters. Drivers will not be able to drive tanks or helicopters but they get the speed and rate of fire upgrades. Tank crews also get speed and rate of fire.
    Many units can act as drivers so use them to loot as many cars as possible.
    The soldier squads able to drive things are your most valuble assets
    3)Best units are:
    The Abrams tank, later it will become a baneblade
    Bradley IFV, it's got the best of all options, good against everything and you can even mount it's special ATGM so it will end with with an autocannon and atgm very fast.
    Humvee with a chaingun and/or TOW
    Light platform with artillery upgrade.
    For soldiers: atmg squads because of their range, rangers because their shred infantry, snipers for their versatility. Infantry squads being good at everything.
    Honorable mention: technicians can drive tanks or pilot helicopters but also lay down mines with their skill upgrades. They only cost 300 supplies per day so it's a strategy to sell drivers and only get technicians.
    WARNING: you don't get other Founder units until the endgame so don't disband or sell them
    4) Towing capacity: Most of the light armored vehicles can tow. There are 3 classes of tow vehicles and stuff that can be towed. Specialised military vehicles can't tow
    Light platforms like the light platform can be towed by vehicles like the van or humvee
    Trailers like the fuel/ammo/armored trailer can only be towed by the main tractor also known as the american truck from tv shows
    So it's very important to have units capable of driving and vehicles capable of towing to get a lot of loot wich you can sell for goodwill points then buy supplies.
    Your force is a mobile force
    5) What are supplies used for? They are used to repair vehicle, give them spare parts, fuel or ammunition.
    So before leaving a mission try leaving with maxed out fuel and ammunition from depots or trailers.
    If you are going to sell captured vehicles or soldiers you don't need to resupply them. You do sell them for more if you do it but most time its the same amout of supplies. However, bases have limited supplies to sell.
    6) Buying upgrades and switching upgrades. Since upgraded guns are limited, try to swap out the gear betwen your army like geting the recoiless gun from the vans before selling them. Same for soldiers with the mention that a single upgrade like a rifle is better give to bigger squads since it can equip either 2 soldiers or 5 soldiers so obviously the 5 soldiers is better.
    It's highlighted what vehicle or soldier can use a piece gear so select them and if the slot is greyed out. A greyed out slot means the unit has the basic weapon.
    The little lines show you the tier and damage capacity, smgs are 1 white bar, while the chaingun is mid tier and 3 lines meaning it is mid-tier best, for anti-infantry purpose
    For example, plasma recoilless vs normal recoilless and the various guide atgm.
    Ultimatly check the ammo types to see against what is the gun good against. Usually plasma is better vs legion and normal guns are better vs humans.
    There is also specialised equipment like the bradley TOW or the 105mm artilery for the light platform.
    7) Soldiers gain experience, level up and gain increased health, accuracy and fire rate. Chosing the skills for the slots is only possible in human bases where you see the icon.
    The management portion of the game can be improved by geting the survivalist trait for all units but you lose a lot of combat strenght.
    Drivers: survivalist
    atgm: AA so you dont forget, survivalist. WARNING: vehicle atgm cant attack air
    heavy:+1s
    sniper: surv, camo, marathon
    Rangers/Infantry squads: survi, combat engineers and c4
    8) Vehicle capacity. Most vehicles have troop capacity so you can use them as transports or to replenish ammo. Keep in mind that a squad can't use a transport that doesn't have enough room for all its members.
    Example: ATGM squad in humvee with minigun is amazing
    Main tractor can have the ranger squad
    9) Smoke is your best friend. If there is a fight you can't win or your units are taking too much damage use the smoke. Its usable on vehicles like the striker, Bradley or ranger squad by default. You can also use it to avoid a flanking enemy and reposition.
    10) Complete ALL aditional objectives, there is no secondary objective since most quests in the game give a big payout and missing too many of them might result in you struggling with supplies.
    Also, don't leave the map until you capture all abandoned vehicles since you can sell them for good goodwill points:)
    See the difference here, i started with 3 squads and a humvee
    11)Extra tip: To capture enemy vehicles you can just shoot at them until you kill the entire crew but sometimes if the vehicle is on fire the crew must exit the vehicle. It can't enter back until the fire dies out and takes a few minutes. You can kill them with your snipers and then capture the vehicle.
    You can also disable certain gun or ammo types to increase your chances but this gets tedious over time so it's just better to replay some missions for all objectives completion.

    Need more guides like this one. Story based main choices, tips, tricks and guide for each mission from 1st to last etc, will be very useful for many new players in this genre. This game has potential to be one the best RTS game this year. I've played Warfare, Warfare Reloaded, Syrian Warfare and I loved this one too. These games are hard but I hope people start to recognise this genre and give the love and appreciation, these games deserve. You're doing awesome, keep it up.

      Thanks, it's a nice game but being leaned into rng and meta knowledge a bit too much:) i will finish the game but the average time for an episode is 4-5 hours as it is now, made another one, it's just in editing

    best use i have discovered for smokes are in a realistic infantry tactics, the bradly pushes smokes infantery unloads and pushes to a building or behind the smoke

      Exactly, i was thinking of using the smoke to park my heavy armed armored trailer next to an enemy position😁 i also assume it would allow the bradley to flank enemies with its tow by retreating and outranging them. Game has a nice touch of realism. Urban warfare will be a nightmare

      Only problem with smoke is your aim goes to shit! You cant hit anything when you use smoke.

    15:15 I think the bar represent the "size" of the weapon platform, like the usual small, medium, large, XL size weapons. And the color represent the "types" of the weapon. So Stryker only have 1-size green slot so it can only equip things like HMG or grenade launcher, but a Humvee can equip recoiless rifle or even bigger weapon.
    Also one thing to note about the whole 'you get more upgraded rifles with 8-men Militia' is the effectiveness of the troops. While yes you get 8 plasma rifle instead of 3-5 with Founders unit, they have better aim and HP (or at least they have better stats).

      Good point but i am not sure since the abrams slot is red and has 1 bar. The grenade launcher vs recoiless vs plasma recoiless doesnt make sense? Also, the sniper rifle has the same color as the plasma🤔🤔 basic autocannon has same problem. We might be both right at some extend😁 i really dislike things that are no standardised in games, another example is how in mission 4 all interactions are done automatically except for harry where you have to click his dialogue

      @@Neyreyan Abrams cannon slot only has 1 bar because there is only 1 size for that 'cannon' weapon type (or maybe I've seen an even bigger cannon yet). Meanwhile the "dark green" (I call it mounted heavy weapon category) have 3 different size. Plasma snipers share the same category as normal snipers because they're essentially just a variant for a sniper, same with plasma recoilless etc.

      My guess is the number of bars represent it's penetration into objects and looks like it might vary between hard and soft targets. It's ability to pass through multiple enemies or through buildings/armor. The hand weapons have low penetration and have one bar. The machine gun plasma has three bars when mounted on a vehicle but only two when carried by a heavy weapon squad. The size of the bar represents the damage applied to the first target, second target and so on.

      @@dcald5175 hmm, might be true. I am sure that the color represents the type of weapon(weird way of doing it). The bar might just be dps and thats why the tank shot is 1 and the chaingun is 3

    This game reminds me of old Command and conquer, but on steroids and blended with one of my favorite movies. The demo does not do this game justice. I hope the developers have future DLC story missions.

    Hey brother, at 8:07 we as truck drivers call them TRACTORS but other normal people call them Semi Trucks (or Semi’s). Hope that helps and so far this tutorial is amazing

    in syrian warfare light vehicles like technicals or gun trucks are quite fragile to small arms fire and actually more of a mobile support weapon platform to support infantry instead of using it as a spearhead.... is this the same here?

      exactly the same, you will put some armor and different weapons to make it easier but for most games its like that

      Yes and No. Unarmored technicals are just tin cans, even assault rifles can sometimes hurt the crew and passengers. I have taken out a technical with just snipers with M99 killing the crew, it didn't even go through the burning phase. Just giving it metal armor however, it is practically immune to assault rifles and somewhat resistant to .308, and even .50 at times, though large volume of fire from miniguns can still wreck it in time.

    How do the hacking work for legion vehicles? One of the units have this ability but i never use it. When you hack a hk tank, would you be able to use that unit untill the end of the mission and take it with you?

      i think its always like the tutorial in mission 4, you use emp and then hack, the vehicle gains ally status. I will probably come across it while playing more. People have said about the integrator tanks that cost 2x the supplies of an abrams and can't be upgraded, it probably won't be worth it to use other vehicles than founders.

      @@Neyreyan i will give it a try next mission when i fight legion. If thats the case about intigrators than they arent worth getting. The heavy plazma gun on the hk tank eats up so much supplies and it only has that one gun. It eats up ammo so fast because that gun will shot st anything, plus its very slow like the dozer. Pretty useless than. At least abrams you can put different guns and upgrades that make it much better.

      ​​@@adikmen007use the Hackers or SINTU unit. They have a EMP granade, get close to the Legion unit and throw the EMP nade to disable it then there is a hack option in the command panel (like a cable connection icon). Target one or two units with 1 EMP, if you throw it in a cluster of Legion units, some of them might not get disabled and then kill you instead. Upgraded Technician units can also booby trap Legion unit and blow them on your command. Don't hold Integrator units, they eat a lot of supplies per day, especially the tanks, it's better to avoid purchasing those units and upgrade your Abrams and Bradley. The mission after the Chihuahua Cartel HQ mission, has a prototype Sherman tank with a railgun, get that. It has low ammo but if you can supply it then it could be very useful in later missions(though Abrams have the same railgun attachment, you'll unlock it or have to buy it later).

      @@Neyreyan Oh, the devs of this game really don't want you to use the Integrator stuff - literally every Integrator unit in this game costs 10k supplies per day to maintain. Every. Single. One.
      Except for a basic Technical truck. Yeah, I don't know why either...

    I just disbanded all Founders driver units as soon as I finished Abiquiu mission. Technicians are much more versatile imo and they cost less supplies.
    Divers: guys with PDWs that try to keep themselves alive and mostly operate wheeled vehicles.
    Technicians: tank crew, pilots, combat engineers, better durability and camouflage. They are standard issued with rifles and grenades.

      true but they dont get 20% speed or fire rate for vehicles wich become super strong. 2 strykers with level up drivers will burn enemy squads in seconds.
      Techies can also recive tank training just to get the extra npc so a 4 man team can repair faster and also afford to have 1 member die:D

      @Neyreyan One thing I was doing it wrong that I always over protect my Founders infantry and have Movement units to deal with nasty stuff, just to disband those crippled units later on, which waste me opportunity to level up my Founders infantry and ended up getting too much manpower.

      The most important ones are Rangers and Infantry Squads, you will not get more of these guys until much later. The thing is if you treat your units like cannon fodders is you will not gain much veterancy. Even militia can get armored upgrade, it is just their basic weapon is trash and have trouble killing even those dogs things, I wish Militia (and Milicia) have the squad member upgrade replaced with something that adds a machinegunner or something, odd that Movement can't utilize LMGs. Movement snipers are weaker than Founders ones, however one of the upgrade they have is to gain 1 squad member.

    Alot of good info i kind of knew but never paid attention to, im still early in game im at the cartel fort mission. But supplies and managing my units is giving me a hard time! I notice some units like snipers can drive cars,fuel trucks,man the turret trailers but other units cant. Its really annoying trying to remember what crew can drive what kind of vehicle. Im very low on supplies so i ended up selling alot of units and just leaving abrams,bradly,113apc, 3 hummers and some soldiers and other vehicles. Thanks for this video it will help me out alot.

      Use snipers in the vehicle that aren't combat focused it will save you resources, also there is a icon on each unit to indicate what they can drive

    I am confused a bit... I just finished that mission and came looking for tips as I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the management screen. Where the hell did you get all these vehicles in this mission? o.O
    Where did you get the APC? Where did you get the second simple "army truck"? (not the big one for trailers), where did you get two Humvees? And where did you get soooooo many vans and pickups?
    I mean, I did all the side tasks in that mission, I ONLY have 2 Main Tractors (big trucks, with all the trailers that you have), 1 regular army truck, 1 abrams, 1 bradley, 1 stryker, and 1 technical vehicle (pickup)
    I'm just listing the differences to show just how much I missed, because I'm confused, I feel like I somehow missed two whole missions, not just two side tasks or vehicles on the ground lol

      the 3rd mission of the game gives you many options which can give you additional vehicles/units. in the very start of the mission, theres a van to your right, grab that, take it to the arms dealer, go visit the local elder, and the elder will give you men, and the arms dealer will give you weapons for the van. Then you go to the movement, and they give you MAC, who drives a truck, if you then tell the movement to attack the legion outpost for the elder, some infantry squads will ask to join up with you after the fight is over, you can then go talk to the mechanic and he will give you the Stryker for saving his sister. Lastly the Bradley, Humvee, M113, fuel truck etc, can be found abandoned in Balzano's field, if you let him run away they should all be left for you to grab.
      You can also apparently opt to trick Balzano into attacking the movement, then siding with the movement and get access to the Movement units there, though I havent tested that myself.

      it was a lot of trial and error + watching videos to make the perfect mission. Even the Santa Fe has hidden vehicles like 2 trucks to sell.

      @@Neyreyan I’ve been attempting to get both the Stryker, and the movement troops from mission 3, I’m not sure it’s possible… once you save the people hiding at the outpost, it triggers the attack, and if you choose to trick movement, it ends the task to attack the outpost

      @@HawksOfHazard what do you mean? You get the troops if you take back the outpost. Aditionally you can never leave it but its harder. I am not sure what troops balzano gives but after you leave you get the sharpshooter squad anyway.
      In the video for the mission i got all the loot, maybe i missed 1 or 2 things but was already a lot😁 the stryker is easy to get you just need to destroy legion troops in the south

      @@Neyreyan when I went through my playthrough test, if I sent movement out to trick balzano, then attacked balzano to get the movement troops, no matter what I did, I could control the entire outpost area and it wouldn’t trigger, so I couldn’t talk to Harry for the Stryker

      yes, its the same as me draging units to sell instead of double clicking:P i guess its personal preference and sometimes i don't want to skip the entire dialogue, just some parts

      Hmm, i guess its own genre since its so different but it was marketed and designed like an rts. I personally asked the devs if it will have multiplayer like company of heroes and they said yes. Curently multiplayer doesnt work but it was clearly designed to be an rts, especially with how you get more units and points.
      I like the game even more because its like this but it needs improvements.
      The devs are probably confused as well since they dont know in what direction to take the game

      @@wargames2195 i didnt know that, i didnt play syrian warfare, in what year did it came out? Well, if they fix the optimisation then it will be a lot better, until then i wouldnt say it plays better.
      Its probably better than coh 3 but not better than coh 2.
      They could make coh 2/dow 2 pvp maps with crews and vehicles geting upgrades and it would pretty cool to play.
      From my perspective, that of reviewing games and playing them for fun as well, i can't recommand or praise broken games.
      I tend to value other people's time and money just like mine so i will be more strict about games but if someone enjoys it, sure, they can😄👍
      I am also playing the game and offering tips to increase the publicity for the game😔 with the hope they will fix it

      @@Neyreyan Syrian Warfare comes out in 2017, quite a long time ago but it's an instant classic. The AI in this game and SW actually work and don't spend 10 minutes shooting hazardly to kill an enemy, this game's combat is satisfying and deadly. Also the game runs like a dream on my end.
