Hi, great video, I am very new to the game and play super slow and get immersed in it, buying Quasimorph was a great decision. My favorite weapon is the crowbar and the gas drill (which somehow cannot drill through walls?) I take my time, and don't run so one mission takes me at least 20min -1 hr, and I only take one skull missions and go to any system that has it, I'm trying to learn about quasimorphosis as much as possible, I carve up EVERYTHING using big bones, especially robots, and take robot heads or disassemble them right there and just load up on wire and whatever else I can get, I let quasi meter run rampant and the quasis are horrifying but since its 1 skull easy to defeat (unless they use the beam stick and hit) I have found out so much by doing this, gotten several eyes of Cthulhu or whatever in a run they are so helpful! I watch the durability of my items and there are some super powerful consumables the quasis drop (items that repair 999 and bring back to max condition any one item) it's a lot of fun but very very stressful (I am sweating when I get an upgrade for my ship and hope for the best)

Sounds about right:) the game does take a lot of time to learn and playing slow is the best decision. Yeah, the drill doesnt drill through the walls because thats mostly based on max damage and its not big enough, probably shotguns are your best options for that.
it does take a while to get better chips but that also gives you the chance to play with other clones and classes:)
Did you pick what corporations to do missions for? that also influences dificulty a lot.
Happy to hear new players are giving it a chance and are having fun with it

    i just need one tip.
    let me elaborate:
i've never reached end game, maybe mid game so far in previous versions. why tho?
let's just say, there's a time in the run that i feel like the game is just stall, and i either go do some raids with shitty equipment and extract or go as ready as i can and die. and it's kinda frustrating, idk. i never feel that i can go past early game cuz no matter how much i run raids it doesn't gives progression feedback, idk maybe is just me or skill issue.
edit: i forgot to mention the new ship system + trading + upgrade (that is from far the worse system)

@@sgshane well, in the begining its more about geting basic stuff and not being greedy unless you something valuble like a crate or something high tech.
After geting some ship upgrades you have to start trading for chips until you get percy and tunnel rats.
The issue could be that you play the game too slow or take missions that are too hard.
The goal of a mission is more important than most of the loot so go for the objective, smash some walls, if things are going badly.
Skip as little time as you can in the begining so the enemies are weak.
I did do a guide yesterday where i detailed the armor and combat more. And some basic loadouts as well.
I will a separate video for loot and trading since its more obscure.
But the goal is the same, the best is to finish missions for your factions of choice and trade for chips

the weapon modding system seems imbalanced. especially the lower level recipes require very easily obtained items to reach level ~20 upgrade level, if you put all upgrade points into damage your weapon will easily kill barons. now every mission just eat 10 meats and summon the quasimorphs, wait for them to come to you and then calmly loot the entire map.

yeah, we talked a lot about it on steam. It seems the devs made it intentionally not cost chips starting at the 4th level like the armor.
They want to gather info about their upcoming difficulty options.
But this is the best way to play the game:) i dont want to do it for it since i have some i want to get more loot and chips but yeah, every missions will be a few minutes long
