I’ve found your videos to be closest to actual checkrides I’ve had. Your CPL with this young man as well as the multi vid helped prepare me for both of those checkrides and I couldn’t be more thankful. I’ll be studying the hell out of this one now as I begin cfi training.
Thank you very much for the compliment. We have several CFI videos on our channel. There’s part one and part two of an entire flight instructor checkride and we have FOI task B, G, E… Please let me know if you would like to see them and are having trouble locating them.
I would like to find these. Where is the link or website ?
im enjoying watching this as its helping me summarize and put into my own words each task after hearing him discuss it.
seems like alot of the comments are missing the reason why they searched this topic in youtube anyway - to get a grasp of what the checkride will be, what will be covered and how to present it/talk about it.
Thank you for the positive feedback!!! Greatly appreciated! If you’re currently working on your CFI, we have two other videos that cover some of the task in more depth. check them out! Thanks for subscribing.
These people are the best, if you are preparing for your Commercial checkride or CFI, they are well prepared and taking that stress out of your shoulders hitting paramount points and concisely explaining them! Thank you so much captains!!!
Thank you for the excellent feedback!!
That was amazing. I sure hope people see and listen to the message
Thanks for the Vid! Preparing for my CFI Oral
You’re welcome! I have 3 FOI videos posted as well and a CFI mock oral coming this week!! Stay tuned! Thanks for subscribing!
Love the video! Looking forward to the CFI mock oral!
Thank you! Shouldn’t be too much longer - I took a little break this summer to spend some time with my kids. Jumping back in the study wagon this week! Thanks for subscribing!
Taking my cfi checkride in 2 months or so. People are saying he was trying to get the last word and was interruptive. He was but he also covered a lot of information
Good luck on your CFI! I’ll be taking my ride in November or December. Be on the lookout for some more videos if you are interested… I’m going to be posting them as I’m doing my training with my flight instructor. Thanks for subscribing to my channel!
Great channel very informative without feeling overwhelmed. I have Been watching this channel for most of today. I’m using the King schools online learning program I used their VHS tapes for my private ASEL.
King is great! How did you do?
@@BATAviation my examiner said I was the best prepared student he has tested.
My guess is I was his first😂😂😂 student LOL.
@@hvacmike1175 that is AWESOME!!! congratulations!!
Wow! Amazing video, doing mine soon as a helicopter CFI applicant, but FOIs & General concepts are very similar. #SkyBaum
Awesome! Good luck!
The constant interrupting and speaking over one another made this video difficult to follow at times. Still very valuable and informative discussion here.
This guy knows his stuff and all, but he sure needs to focus more on his listening skills and waiting his turn to talk. If I was his student and he always talked over me, I'd say see ya later dude. Poor girl doesn't even get a chance to verbalize her thought process.
I’ll relay the message when I see him on Wednesday! Hahaha Thanks for subscribing!
You’re totally misunderstanding of what we are trying to discuss here. First of all he’s not a CFI I candidate… He is a CFI. We were discussing his oral and using it as an example to prepare future CFIs for what to expect. It is extremely informative… If you don’t like what you see then discontinue watching any videos in the future.
I appreciate all the Efforts a CFI do in order to help Candidates , I know we are not all perfect but the intentions are positive, the only suggestion I could think is to slow talking in order to be more comprehensive for foreign Applicants, question and answer without distraction
29:38 He said the air on top of the wing and the air on the bottom are trying to meet up at the end. I was surprised to hear him say this as it has been debunked numerous times and is an indicator that the person doesn't understand how the wing generates lift. The air on top doesn't meet the air on the bottom, they aren't connected and the air doesn't have a mind to know what the air on the other side of the wing is doing. He seemed knowledgeable for the most part, but the "equal transit theory" is just wrong and he needed to understand the principles of lift generation better than that, in my opinion.
Great content- but the low audio and high volume sound effects were kind of awful.
Yes, I’ve learned to lower the sound effects! Trial and error! Thanks for the feedback.
I liked how he said if you were a commercial pilot with a multi engine rating and you wanted to add on a single engine rating. Like what a chad😂
A lot of the part 141 schools will have their students obtain their commercial rating in a multi-engine airplane And what typically happens is after they leave the school, maybe they want to go flight instruct or something outside of the school and they need to get the single engine add-on so that they can do that.
Just crazy how you can learn to fly a twin before a single engine. Doesn’t make any financial sense.
Great concept. Unfortunately I found the individual describing the check ride WAY too cocky and arrogant. Good luck trying to get hired at a regional airliner with that type of attitude.
is there a way to get access to the document you referenced to?
Are you talking about the PTS? If so, you can definitely purchase one!
@@BATAviation the book you used, that’s FAA CFI PTS?
@@stevenvlog8398 practical test standards, flight instructor for airplane single engine land and sea. I have them for sale for six dollars on Amazon.
Not me... they sell them on Amazon lol
@@stevenvlog8398 also I wanted to say thank you for subscribing! We’re going to have a CFI mock Oral exam coming up in a few weeks.
CFI candidate very unprofessional, always interrupting and wanting to have the last word. Not a learning video...waste of time.
we are not all perfect, just advise in a gentle way will be more appreciate I think
He did interrupt a lot but i don’t agree with you when you say it’s a waste of time
