Nightwish army, Northern Sweden division checking in! One of their best songs IMHO, a real banger! Floor is not human, i refuse to believe that she is. She is a godess sent to earth to give metalfans what they want/need.
She should have definitely reacted to the cruise version. Because it has a much better over all sound.

@@Gibbetoo Not sure why you're laughing at him, it's a completely fair statement. Yes floor is a bit low in the cruise mix, but the rest of the instrumentation sounds far far better than at Wembly.

Loved the reaction. You are one of the few who have recognized that it is Floor who is doing the growls and not Marko. She can instantly change from rock chest to growls to her angelic voice. Never seen anyone else do that so seamlessly and with seemingly no effort. Valkyrie Goddess.

Where have you been young Lady!? Yep, this is a good one. Your grasp of all that goes on in that video is spot on. There is one I really want you to react to. My favorite. Our girl Floor dances and drives an entire venue insane. I want my tears back, Buenos Aires. You will love the song as well as the performance. I hope you and yours are happy and healthy.

If you’ve never heard Marko sing before may I recommend ‘The Islander’ live or ‘Devil in the Deep Dark Ocean’ at Buenos Aires. The tribute to ‘High Hopes’ live is also an oldie but a goodie.

Great review. Nightwish Army, England Brigade here. At some point, try reversing the set up by listening to The Islander at Tampere. A much calmer, folk song, with Marko, the bassist, on lead vocals. Gives a completely different perspective to the band.

Among the things the Netherlands are famous for are not only the tulips and the Gouda cheese but also the windmills. Since Floor is Dutch, we like to call her ‘head whips’ windmills. And rumour has it that Floor’s windmills are part of the alternative energy sources of the Netherlands and/or Sweden, where she lives. LOL.

Hey Schnell, looking but not sure which Nightwish songs you have reacted to.. Might want to make a Nightwish playlist.. It will come in handy to have them all together when your 30 or 40 Nightwish songs in.. I assume your 8 or 10 songs into Niightwish, so you have covered most of the mind blowing songs from their Wacken 2013 show.. Anyway Wembley, for starters, I suggest "Shudder before the Beautiful" and/or "7 days to the Wolves" from this same Wembley show..

I listen to music a lot. One thing I notice is when a singer can't hit notes or stay on pitch they will try to cover it with what I call vocal acrobatics so it osmotic noticeable. I have yet to see or her Floor EVER do this. Just sayin.

Meh. The cruise audio mix is better in some ways and worse in other ways. It is nice to mix it up either way though.

If you read the lyrics it's about haters/trolls on the internet and the band telling them we don't care about what you think. I get you don't like the sound of this kind of music but don't fall into the silly trap thinking metal music is all satanic lol. There is way more to it.
I'll take that bet any day. Tuomas who is the composer is somewhat critical to organized religion and argues for a more scientific approach to the world, so satanic is definitely not something he can be accused of. Also, the irony of the lyrics being about internet haters and your post showing your intolerance and ignorance is truly hilarious! Although, I totally respect that you don't find the music to your liking. It is not for everyone.
