The growls there may throw people off because some know just enough to expect Marko to be doing it and they don't think a classically trained natural soprano like Floor is going to be doing all these other things. Yes, in this song, during the chorus, Marco sings lead and Floor layers the growls underneath (so very intentionally quieter), such an amazing sound. Floor does more growling with her older bands, as folks here have mentioned, Nightwish and Tuomas do utilise this aspect of Floor's, frankly ridiculous, vocal range but only sparingly. Try Wild Card by ReVamp.

Love your reaction to this, it is pretty much the same I've seen other people do when I've shown this band to them. :) Learning more about Nightwish you might also want to do a quick visit to their past. Floor is not the original singer and while she is amazing and some may argue better than the original singer, it's good to know where the band came from and where their style came from and that's where their previous singer Tarja Turunen plays a huge role. I'd recommend checking: "NIGHTWISH - The Phantom Of The Opera (OFFICIAL LIVE)" to see the contrast AND similarities with their styles. It's quite fascinating. Also you should definitely check out this video of two absolutely amazing female metal singers duet a very beautiful song as a complete surprise during Within Temptation's live show. Though I do need to warn that this might open up a new rabbit hole of more music you need to explore. :) The video is called: "Within Temptation feat. Anneke Van Giersbergen - Somewhere (Live) HD"
Wembley 2015, "7 Days to the Wolves", is one of my favourite Nightwish performances. Floor and Marko always sound great together, but that one is just even better than usual. Check it out sometime.
