How the hell Tuomas plays keyboards while headbanging is beyond me. LOL
It's just muscle memory. When I was playing in bands, I never looked at the fretboard of my bass no matter what I was doing on stage. The hands just know their job.
How the hell is Empuu maintaining his riffs while literally running from one side of the stage to the other, is beyond me. I just started to learn playing the guitar, and for me that is sorcery! 🎸😈

@@chriss9898 Years of playing. Your hands go into automatic mode because of muscle memory. I used to tell jokes and have full conversations with the people in my band while playing. You learn the songs so well they just become second nature.
Congrats on being the fastest reactor (at least that I've seen) to notice that it's Floor growling.
Chase was pretty quick, but even he asked "Is that her?".
Most reactors don't even realize it's her until near the end.

Actually I found a reactor who was faster than Tank. Some guys from a band called Metal Maffia reacted to this as well a short while ago. They had to go back and check but they caught it :-)

Man... Is there a vocal style Floor cant do?? Operatic, Growls, amazing cleans. She is just, such a powerhouse of a woman. Shes such an insperation.
I never realized until I watched this Floor growling under Marco's vocals. I knew she was the best, but I didn't know she did this. Everyone else sings what they can. Floor sings what she wants. She's untouchable.

Damn, I completely missed this sad news although I knew of course that Eddie had been battling throat cancer for a while now. I had hoped for him to recover but alas. Coincidentally I listened to Van Halen's greatest hits album yesterday during my commute, on the day of his death. A sad day for rock and roll indeed.

Ah yes, Rammstein, I totally agree on that pyro comment. I've been at a festival once where Rammstein was a headliner, performing the last show of the weekend. Even the crowd was joining in with the pyro, with dozens of fires on the field, from people burning their trash. Great show!

You can easily know how far you are in the show by Tuomas' outfit. If he has the leather top hat on, first song, no hat but coat still on 2nd song or very early in the show, no coat around mid-show and then I would need to get into Tuomas' disheveled hair level method to figure out how deep into the show you are getting. HEHE! 😉

Yeah. Studying Tuomas' clothes/hair condition is definitely an established setlist number identification method. There has also been the one or other select show where he went from full gear down to only pants and shoes. lol

I was there at this show, I lost my wallet, almost fell off the balcony on the seating to the left, ears ringing for days and MISSED the Dawkins reveal at the end. It was also my FIRST Nightwish concert I travelled to see. It fkn blew my mind (and eardrums) and when I saw people leaving we all shared this look of absolute rapture. Tears where shed, and the event was absolutely BANGING. Each song was a performance and it was unmissable! You gotta watch the whole thing and I'll love to see you react to it as I'll be there watching the damn thing again with ya!
Ah, that first Nightwish show sticks with ya. I was there too at Wembley but, my first Nightwish show was in the End of an Era tour. Much smaller venue and it was insane.
Never let is be said that Nightwish slacks on production, eh? Because seriously, every single song they do. At every show. The production is just off the charts. Combined with how absolutely crushing this song is in tempo? This all made for a great reaction video. But then again, that's just the standard around these parts.

This Nightwish show at Wembley in 2015 was voted the 2nd best that year. Queen's show was the winner, which is not surprising as they are a domestic band in the U.K..

@@andyventures6574 Freddie Mercury wasn't Queen, you know. He was the one who came up with the name and crest, sure, and even wrote a fair amount of the music. Officially Queen is still Queen. Freddie was a phenomenal, unbeatable voice, but the band was more than him, there were three others who wrote a fair share of the songs as well. You don't like Adam Lambert, that's fine, it's your opinion. I like them with either, that is my opinion, but as long as there are 2 writers of probably nearly half of Queen's songs and other instrumental bits, it is still Queen.

This is probably my absolute favourite song by Nightwish, it is just so awesome in every way.
Floor is just, I just can't understand really. I mean I listened to her sing Puccini the other day and then now I see this wonderful banger of a song where she is singing with a harsher kind of vocal and also doing some growling and doing that siren call so softly and some screaming, all in the same song in this instance... She's just spectacular and amazing, in every way.
It just amazes me that a she can sing in so many different styles and genres, she can sing opera but she can also growl and so far also sing everything in between from what I've heard so far, it's just out of this world to me. She's like a chameleon, and she is brilliant in everything she sings. I am not a big fan of growling, but Floors growls I just love!
And also, she sings like that and still windmills in between and doesn't sound winded... it's just, amazing. I am running out of words :D
And the rest of the band are brilliant as well in what they do, it's just wonderful to get to see and listen to this kind of brilliant musicians come together and perform. Bands like Nightwish are, to me, not something you see every day, they are truly one of a kind.

Great reaction as always! I really appreciate that you talk about the setup and gear. Not only is it interesting, and you are one of few that mentions it in any detail, but I also think it is awesome that you shine a spotlight on the crew that is such a big part of making a show like this a reality, but usually goes unnoticed. Sure, it is part of their job to go unnoticed, but they deserve to be recognized!

Heaven says no but I scream HELL YEAH! lets fucking go! This was a Marco written song and if you want another awesome headbanger written by him then it's the Weak Fantasy my personal favorite.
You saw the moveable trusses in your last video. In this song they are completely down because they carry most of that sweet back light. These lights are in front of the LED screen. This was the second song in the set. The trusses move up for the first time at the end of the third song to reveal the screen for the fourth almost 20mins into the show.
I knew the hat would fly off. And the shocked disbelief...makes me giggle.

Putting this early in the set is also really smart, from a vocal standpoint; I think this is the only(?) - or at least one of the very few - songs that feature Floor's growling, so putting it at the beginning of a set makes sense, to "get it out of the way" so to speak. While growling like this done right doesn't affect your voice much, it *can* make you a little tired in the muscles in and around the throat, and since Floor busts out operatic belts 90% of the time, she would probably want to growl early rather than later to ensure her belts won't crack at the very top of her register. :)
