Cognito platform - GCSE Chemistry: Atoms

The Cognito platform just launched. It's totally free, and has been built from ground up to make learning and revision as easy as possible. Some of the main features include:
- Automatic progress tracking of which lessons you've completed, and how well you did.
- Quiz generation on any combination of subtopics you like.
- Signature Cognito videos to teach you new concepts in the shortest possible time.
- An extensive bank of past papers, sorted both by year, but also by topic.
I was GENUINELY considering to just fail my GCSE science because I had nothing to revise but can’t believe this website was created! THANK YOU! BTW one suggestion is please combine with other people that have knowledge on subjects and create a platform like this with ALL GCSE SUBJECTS! Thatd be legendary
Don't forget A level. Include that in the website please.

thank you so much! you are incredible. i love everything you are doing, however, is there any way you could implement a harder mode. like the demon mocks in OnMaths. I'm pushing for a 9, so I'd love to see some harder question. but, again, id like to say thank you!

your platform is so good. I use it like 3x a week for revision. I bet even if I lost my books at all my notes I could probab;y still get 6 by using cognito

Hi Cognito, I am currently completing 3.6 - 'Gas Calculations', Quantitive Chemistry in Lessons on your website. I spotted a mistake in the question 'Calculate the volume of 12 g of methane (CH4). (Mr of CH4 is 4).'.The question states the Mr of CH4 is 4, when it should be 16.
Also appreciate your videos and website, which have helped me with different exams!

im having issues on the site as it isnt keeping up with what I have completed and haven't. Ive been revising lessons in physics and it didnt say i completed a lesson, it just rest to 0/88 completed :/

I'm currently in year 9 and preparing for some important exams in December. your vids are amazing and explain concepts so much better than learnt in class. However I have tried signing up to your website, but it crashes. my internets fine and I tried on multiple devices but still have the same problem

Hi Oliver, thanks for letting us know. Are you definitely doing all the questions in the subtopic? The way it’s set up, if you only do a few questions then jump back to the list of subtopics, your bar won’t fill up.

I also had this problem. I found that it fixes itself if you refresh the page :)
@@Cognitoedu Hi Cognito, I had a similar problem but I figured out what to do: you need to wait a few seconds (around 5-10) until the scroll bar on the side comes up and the progress bar is filled in. Sometimes, you have to refresh the page, do the questions again, and then wait those few seconds and it works - but I guess it's good practice :)
