i have my chemistry exam after two days and i have to cover the syllabus of 4 months and i have been panicking and being super anxious about it, was about to give up but i thought of giving it a try and like always you gave me hope that i can learn this chemistry which seems as hard as a mountain for me.
This for the exams my chemistry was hard but when I saw this topic I was like wow it is so understandable!! And just because of watching videos for the chemistry topics I did the TOP in chemistry! AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR UPLOADING THESE HELPFUL VIDEOS I APPRITICATE IT!❤
I thought this was amazing!!! This was the best video we’ve seen on this subject! Thank you :) Also... this is the first time I’ve EVER commented on a UA-cam video... that’s how good I thought it was :) (And I love UA-cam)
This is the best video about this topic i have seen yet. It briefly explains about acid bases and alkaline therefore helped me a lot revising for it! Keep making more videos like this.
I'm in my last year of school now taking my final exam next week. I'm homeschooled and have been since the start of covid at first I started failing science but then I found these vidioes and the way they are laid out and all the colors somehow made my brain listen and now instead of failing science I'm getting grades 6 in my practice exams. so thank you.
i'm actually not even a GCSE student but your videos are just so well explained and helpful that I watch them very single day to help me understand my lessons better. Its been so hard to find good videos but ever since I found your videos I've been so much better in class n have been understanding my lessons much better. According to my curriculum ( Cambridge ) I still do have more content on each topic but just cus of the way you explain things so simply I just can't leave you even though I can't fully depend on these videos for my lessons. Thankyou so much I really love your videos and I wud reccoment them to anyone any day 💕
Love your videos keep it up, they really help a lot as I was once failing nearly all my exams and after coming across this UA-cam channel I’ve really improved and am now passing most of my exams, but I still watch to improve my grades much more, thanks a lot and keep up the good work 👍😃.
i have a question.IDo base only produce salt and water? If so how come calcium carbonate is a base as like calcium carbonate will produce carbondioxide as well right?
Hi, I've just had a question on this, in the video there is an example of an acid + base, I think that you mean acid + metal carbonate, which does equal salt+carbon dioxide+water
I do not understand the mention of Calcium Carbonate at the end of this video as a base in the context of the earlier definitions. Can someone explain as I always thought Calcium Carbonate was a salt?
You can’t be, it was destroyed. The GCE Ordinary Level (known as the O-Level) was abolished in 1987 and replaced by the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE). The change was made to create a national qualification for those who wanted to leave school at 16 without attempting A-levels or pursuing a university education.
From what I gather, acids are good at destroying hair, metals and some other organic materials, but don't work well of greases and fats, Alkaline don't damage metals but are brilliant at removing scum and fatty substances. Their chemical opposites, one takes an electron and one gives one. Hydrogen peroxide is simply water with an added oxygen atom! I've tried all sorts to unblock my drains, but nothing seems to work, should I get a bottle of pure H2O2?

Plz make a video about bases and alkalis just like u have of
acid
BTW nice video
Is the PH affected by the basicity of acids?
A practice paper question asked what the ph scale measures but I got it wrong, because the answer said "the concentration of H+ions
THANK YOU😭
The most colourful cognito video ever :)
Very helpful
Thank you
If I add a weak base to a strong acid will it still completely neutralise?
no. The pH will remain under 7 although now closer to 7.
Thank you

i have a question.IDo base only produce salt and water? If so how come calcium carbonate is a base as like calcium carbonate will produce carbondioxide as well right?
i dunno. maybe because nutrilzation could carbonate and carbonoxide by compounding and mixing salt. Your Welcome
Nope, not just salt and water. Gases are produced too, tho I cant say for all reactions
Hi, I've just had a question on this, in the video there is an example of an acid + base, I think that you mean acid + metal carbonate, which does equal salt+carbon dioxide+water
bro ur awesome
Don’t suppose you do a-level too Amadeus?
IMPORTANT! The salt produced in the neutralization is CHEMICAL salt, NOT the salt you use for cooking
