It's Hard to describe but I miss THIS part of Minecraft, being new, everything excited me because everything was new. I had no idea what the nether was or why sand falls but dirt doesn't. And I loved every moment of it. It was something I shared with my friends and we all grew not just in the game but together. This video really does a good job reminding me of what I remember Minecraft being, all of my friends having all of their own niches and talents. When we all got together made something beautiful. Nothing will ever replicate the times we had back then but I think this video does memory of it some real justice. That's something hard to pull off. Cavetown is badass.

Everybody has their favorite activity and when ppl work together it can make something beautiful. Cavetown did an amazing job merging his music with the existing tracks. So cozy!!

the melody of squares is very similar to C418's "Subwoofer Lullaby" and "y13" sounds really similar to C418's "Cat" disk, not the same but both are really similar.

Love how you can make the cat sit, and it naturally follows you, and will teleport if stuck to a pole by lead, but he still uses the lead to walk him around, adorable. This is the mega comfy vibes, my fav game with one of my fav comfort artists. Also 'y 13' being now redundant is both sad, but fitting, the game has changed and many Minecraft songs have evolved to be factually incorrect but the joy of the era it was made in is still there, still fresh in our minds. honestly i just want to praise this video. first of all (and honestly probably super obvious), the music is absolutely amazing. It's a good mix of c418's style of music with yours and it flows really well!! both songs are very well composed, and squares is my fav. love the wet hands leitmotif :)) second, the sound design. oh my god the sound design. i dont know if it's a mod doing all of the work, but either way it sounds amazing. it's much more atmospheric than just minecraft, and im super glad it was added. all of the little details are scattered throughout. my favorite being the creaking of the dock THIRD, the absolute mental amount of time this must have taken, like wow. 17 minutes is crazy for a music video, especially for being made in minecraft of all things, and then editing and the other works. also cate

holy shit no way did i just stumbled across this of course the music is perfect, but the ACTING. the way everything is done, how each friend has their own special skill and how they all come together in the end. it's just amazing, and they don't even talk the ENTIRE TIME! you can just tell by the minimal body language that the actual vanilla game allows and the actions of how the players feel with the scenes, this is how multiplayer used to feel like on LAN or when meeting new people on multiplayer servers. it was done incredibly well. can't wait to show this to all of my friends! well done!!!!!

I love this, it's so intimate, so soft and warm, I can feel the tranquility that this game gives robbie, and maybe for many also a "therapy" mode
My heart leaped when I heard the Minecraft music at the beginning, as someone obsessed with Minecraft and it's music and just the nostalgic feel.... And mcyts, it's just the best, it's so lovely, and relaxing and calm, and I love it...
The songs of course, beautiful. I just, I want to point out how every music video you make is beautiful, and the fact you still captured that beauty in minecraft-
holy shit no way did i just stumbled across this
of course the music is perfect, but the ACTING. the way everything is done, how each friend has their own special skill and how they all come together in the end. it's just amazing, and they don't even talk the ENTIRE TIME! you can just tell by the minimal body language that the actual vanilla game allows and the actions of how the players feel with the scenes, this is how multiplayer used to feel like on LAN or when meeting new people on multiplayer servers.
it was done incredibly well. can't wait to show this to all of my friends!
