    Nice job. You could have also polished it to a mirror finish. Would look ever better.

      The mirror finish takes a lot of work because of the rough casting. Plus I love wrinkle finish.

    how did you not paint the "alfa romeo" script black did you cover it too?

      After I painted the valve cover I used a file and some sand paper to remove the paint on the lettering. It sits higher than the valve cover and isn't hard to sand off without scratching the rest of the cover.
