@@Brandon-u4xur right about all of that. But Google only hires people that are smart. Not everyone is smart. Also working for someone else means they own u. Loved the vid and F the thief Quick thoughts as you've noticed I'm new in the comments, researching the field. Would love this course that covers the business aspect of things. If you want to include in the course or make a video maybe on the supply of bleach. I'm not sure if it's a temporary boom in the price but I can't seem to find anything less than $6 a gallon on a 150 mi radius. Just waiting back on a quote from Univar Solutions. My best bet right now is Walmart 10% for $5/gal. About the electric hose reels, would it be more efficient if the reel would be on a remote so you can be at the end of the hose holding the gun and pressing a button on the remote to roll it up? Thank you, keep up the good work
Hey man! Nothing much I can do about your bleach problem. I would reach out to your competitors and ask where they are getting it. I get it locally. Also, I don’t believe a remote reel exists. Even if it did, I have to many remotes for my equipment haha
I'm new to Austin where I'm a visiting professor at UT from Britain. I must say that one thing that shocks me is the heavy use of chemicals, I had my patio and roof cleaned and was shocked to see that the person allowed the chemicals to go into my pool. He said they were safe but if they were, why did he wear heavy rubber gloves! I expected better.
@@vampirehunter2698 What politics? I said nothing at all about politics but asked about the practice of washing chemicals into a pool...where my kids swim. If you consider worrying about my kids politics, then fine! I also don't see anything political in questioning some of Texas' environmental regulations, especially given the weather and disasters we've had lately.
@user-sw8et6jc2r the chemical they used to clean the exterior of ur house and roof is bleach. Also know as sodium hypochlorite. The reason they are wearing gloves is because the bleach is at suck a high percentage rate it could cause a chemical burn on their skin. However, the high percent of bleach they use going into the pool will not hurt anyone because u have so much water in the pool that it would dilute the bleach they are using and make it safe for people to get in the pool. Chlorine is also sodium hypochlorite. Keep in mind that if the people who cleaned ur house buys their bleach in bulk they can get 12.5% bleach/sodium hypochlorite strength. If they know what they are doing they would never use 12.5% bleach at all on ur house whether it's on the roof or house. That's way to strong and a waist of money. They dilute their bleach. So if they did ur roof they mixed have water and have bleach which would be about 6% bleach sprayed on ur roof. That's the strongest professionals would use on ur roof and dilute it even more depending on ur roofs material and how dirty it is. On ur house they would dilute the 12.5% bleach down so much to get around 1 to maybe 1.5% bleach content. And depending on the material ur siding is and how dirty it is they may bump it up to a higher bleach strength. So the bleach going in ur pool is ok and safe for u and ur family. Now as far as why they are wearing protective equipment is because they work with this stuff everyday all day. It's like when u have a xray and u wear the lead vest wire the xray tech runs and hides and gets away from u as far as possible. Even though they are not directly exposed to the radiation this is their job and do it all day. So little by little they would cause themselves harm. If they only were to be exposed to it non directly say only once a month they wouldn't go hide from it like u see them do.
@@Brandon-u4xhe wears rubber gloves since he’s around chemicals all day, and whatever his work week is. Whatever he is most likely bleach and some soap. Which would be heavily diluted by the time it got into your pool.
@@gregbecker2723it's all easy math to an extent. It really all depends on what % bleach your using and how many gallons ur tank is for batch mixing. Say u have a 10 gallon batch tank and u are using say 6% gallon jugs of bleach. If u put 5 gallons of 6% bleach in the 10 gallon tank and then 5 gallons of water that would give u a 3% bleach strength. Say u need a 1.5% bleach strength but are still using 6% 1 gallon jugs. Then u would add 2 and a half gallons of 6% bleach and fill the rest with water. That would give u 1.5% bleach strength. So in a empty 10 gallon batch tank that would be 2.5 gallons of bleach and 7.5 gallons of water =1.5 bleach strength. When it comes to say getting a 1% 2% 4% 5% bleach strength the formula would be a little different. If u were doing a roof and u were gonna need 6% bleach strength then just add 10 gallons of 6% bleach in the 10 gallon batch tank. Other things that will effect ratios is if u needed less then 10 gallons or if u had a 12, 15, 20 or bigger gallon batch mixing tank. If u go to his channel and find one of the first few videos he has posted he explains how to do the formula way better and breaks it down for u. U may need a calculator especially if ur using a bleach strength higher or lower then 6% bleach strength. I only used 6% bleach strength in gallon jugs as a example because the hottest strength u would probably ever use is 6% and its easier to devide. If u bought bleach in bulk it could come in a bleach strength anywhere from 6% up to 12.5% and maybe even 13% bleach strength. Math would still be the same though, u would just need more water to delute down more to the percent u would need based off of job. The problem with batch mixing is if u mix a batch at say 3% bleach strength and don't use it all then go to another job where u need a lower or higher bleach strength then the math gets even harder to figure out and most of the time it will be way to strong or not strong enough. That's why when u batch mix u wanna try to mix less then what u may need even if u have to make several batches to get the job done. It'd better then having a left over batch and trying to add more water or more bleach to get different strengths for different jobs.
