Remember back in 2009 when mw2 had no sbmm and you'd get random lobbies of noobs to crush. Maybe one or 2 good players on the other team. But you'd always finish the tdm in 5-7 mins tops. Get all your streaks once. It was nice and chill after a hard day at work or school. Those days need to come back. Let the sweats sweat. Let the casuals just chill and have fun.
Mw2 was my first cod. I was the noob getting crushed. Still one of my favorite cods.

i don't know, the matchmaking and servers broke modern warfare making it almost unplayable beyond two matches. though BO4 did have really bad servers the matchmaking wasn't terrible. So it really just comes to how bad the match making is. Cause if it's as bad as modern it'll need far more than a zombies and battle royal to save its ass.
It’s a hard pill to swallow but sbmm is never going away. Activision has kept it to keep the shitty players on the game to buy the battle pass. Us OGs need to move on

@@r3cker Easy. 90% of players are casuals. If a casual player gets destroyed by being in the same lobby as a "pro" he will loose interest in the game and quit playing. Then Activision can not sell this player any Micro dlcs.

But since it goes off however it classifies you, you're essentially playing the same everytime. Personally It is wack but I can hold my skill like in mw till what I assume is the skill ceiling and going against all pc players with kbm where I eventually have to strain my skill. Idk it's a wierd topic but it seems like every game has it now and until they get rid of it just gotta git gud.
@@brutuslugo3969 No way is it for casual players. SBMM is there to match you with players similar to your skill. It is why every game becomes a sweat fest no matter the skill level. Back in the BO1 days most games were just chill, you didn't have to sweat just to stay above water. If you were new, yes you got your ass handed to you a lot. You eventually learned how to swim though, that how it was before SBMM started turning things real sweaty. Once in a while you'd get in a lobby against someone who was around your skill or better but it was fine. Those were fun to because it happened once in a while so putting in that focus was fine for a few games. Now every game is like that and it isn't fun having to focus just to stay above water.

Honestly I think Moscow feels somewhat like a black ops 1 map with more modern graphics, it's pretty good, it's a solid 3 land map with a very fun middle section especially in objective game modes

@@AroeOran it is big time, my 1st few games on satellite dom, i got 70 kills easily. After that i couldnt get past 25-30 kills. Literally ran into 6 stacks and couldnt move around the map.
there's no way BO2 had SBMM, I remember having fun even on fucking hardcore and if I really wanted to sweat Ranked Leagues is were I would go and that's where the try hards would be (understandably so of course). If BO2 had SBMM I'll be shocked because MW2019 was pathetic because of it and so many other issues. I hope Cold War can fix this bs.

Activision think they slick that's why they wanted everyone to sign in, Every call of duty moving forward you will always have skilled based matchmaking because it will have the stats from the previous game.
That is also the reason they got rid of the prestige system back in the day when Cod came out if someone was a level 3 or 4 prestige in that first couple of weeks, You already knew what type of lobby you were getting in so it was up to the player to say you know what I am going to either back out or give it a shot, Now everyone starts at the same level and it resets so you can never tell anymore.

The only way to remove SBMM is To Remove Crossplatform and Free-To-Play Gaming. Free-to-play Products (Mainly Mobile Gaming) are Practically Fabricating money out of thin Air. Call of Duty Functions A lot like a Fucking Fast-Food Restaurant Content-wise. They got the Basic elements that we expect, know and love. If there's something we don't like; they'll slowly try new things before completely changing it as requested by popular Demand. Adding new things as they go along. Some good, some bad. Putting new things out for a limited time. The good ones they keep out for a bit, take away, and then by popular demand (or when sales/activity are low) they'll put them back out. Wash, Rinse, Dry, Repeat. That's how its been since Advanced Warfare. Modern warfare broke that cycle for a good season and a half.
To be fair Thunder I typically get annoyed each year whenever you hate on the newest COD. HOWEVER, I stand with you 100% this time. Last night I was kicking ass and I was like wow, I love this game! Well after performing well I’m pitted against Scump wannabes and quick scopers. I’m lucky to maintain a 1kd now and the moment I hit 2 I’m in total disbelief lol. I honestly think I’m going to pass on this game unless they remove sbmm. I wish more people would do the same. Kill someone and then die seconds later is not fun - it’s extremely frustrating. I almost deleted the alpha today.
I’m back 11 hours later bc I feel like they tuned down sbmm after it trended on Twitter. I played this morning and it felt more casual and I had a good 4 solid games. I think I’m back on board lo!

Yeah, know what you mean about sbmm. In this alpha I've seen people sliding as well and even drop shooting. I kept telling my friend "They're sweating in an Alpha! It doesn't even count for their stats! Why are they trying so hard!" And on Armada, people are already absolutely abusing the armored boats you can drive. Legit, I even saw someone actually headglitch with one... Yeah, headglitching with an armored boat...
SBMM aint going anywhere, because the numbers don't lie. The MAIN reason SBMM exists, is just to cater and protect noobs.
At this point, the veterans of the CoD community are either jaded or burnt out. CoD as a franchise realizes that the BEST method of retaining NEW players--is to coddle them and cater to them. There's no going back. This is the reality.
Players that grew up with this series, eventually just move on. For multiple reasons. The lifeblood of this franchise is bringing in NEW BLOOD. Unfortunately, we veterans are ignored and put on the back-burner.
If you cater to new players, then you gain paying customers that will stay with the franchise for many years to come. I hate SBMM, but lets face it, its in every single shooter and competitive game. Would it be nice if it was toned down? Yes, it would. Will they ever loosen the noose that it holds over the game? Probably not.

It’s still a lose-lose situation for us non-sweats. If they don’t get rid of sbmm, we are stuck reverse boosting or dealing with sweats. If they get rid of it, sweats are still going to be in the game destroying us and ruining our fun. If they separate modes and give us casual mode and rank mode with sbmm then the sweats will simply pick casual mode and STILL sweat there ass off on us. We literally can’t win.

Simple solution to an absolutely absurd set of issues. Eliminate sbmm, quick scoping, sliding, bunny hopping, and drop shooting from the game.
If you notice the way is categorized in the start menue is exactly like modern warfare nothing has change lol..also every map has sun light beam beside miami, which makes it hard to spot the enemy from a distance.
I have to say I was actually enjoying this game my first couple games, I was going double positive every time. Then I kept playing...
