My honest thoughts and opinions on the black ops cold war beta so far is that i'm bad at it, the lobbies are very sweaty thanks to skill based matchmaking (sbmm) and the truth is it's SUPER HARD to see people or tell friendly from enemy player due to everyone looking the same there is also a new wall glitch spot on moscow and hackers that's ruining the experience.

Only reason bo2 was fun was because the player count was high so you were less likely to join lobbies with sweats. Player counts in the new cods are low so you’ll go against sweats 80% of the time.

I think the operators being universal over both teams is definitely a contributing factor to people not being able to distinguish teammates from enemies

Thunder it's not about playing for k/d. We all know stats don't matter. But the game isn't fun if you're getting absolutely destroyed every game and that's what will happen if anyone tries to play casually in these lobbies. Do I want to sweat? Hell no. But with the skill based matchmaking I need to play at my best just to go positive sometimes, God forbid get a fun game.
Yeah. The fact that I sometimes have to sweat my ass off just to stay even positive or not lose horribly (and even that can prove futile at points) just makes this game an absolute chore to play. I pretty much have to come off cod as soon as I can finally drop one good game just so I can leave it on a high note.

Nah, it's fine. Most players are on PS4 and they turn crossplay off anyway. In 2020, who plays on PC besides hackers? The only logic reason to play on PC, is to have an edge over the other players with hacks and cheats (like Nvidia video filters and 160+ fps). Basically, the people on PC plays like if they had an handicap and they needed help with basic task like spotting enemies and aiming at them. No wonder why pro-players are switching to console.

I agree. Whenever I play with a couple of my below average in skill friends, I get really good lobbies & it’s fun! But when I play alone or with a friend that’s good, the lobbies I get are very stressful.

As someone who has played and enjoyed COD as long as you have, it pains me to say that it's just time to move on from MP. Treyrach was the last little bit of hope I had and they failed too. I think Treyarch wanted to make their game fun but assictvision said to vondy "aye put sbmm in the alpha" and vondy was force to but vondy did not wanted sbmm so I think in the alpha he did not want the lobby to break up after every game and after the alpha ended assictvision was like "ayo why tf the lobbys did not break up" so vondy got force to break up lobbys after every game so sbmm could work so they put that in the beta and assictvision is happy cuz MONEY and vondy is sad so when cod 2021 DONT BUY IT SO ASSICTVISION COULD LISTEN FOR THE 1ST TIME

Problem with cheating and hacking is you can’t stop it. You can reduce it, but that’s going to be difficult in a game that is as popular as Call of Duty. Luckily we have the option of turning cross-play off, so we don’t have to deal with cheaters.

Why does everyone keep calling this a beta? It’s a demo, A DEMO. The game releases here in less than a month so what changes could Treyarch possibly do in that amount of time besides tweak the servers? I wish when Treyarch was handed Sledgehammer’s work in progress Call of Duty title, they should have scraped it entirely and started from scratch. I honestly would’ve understood and would’ve been more than happy to wait 6 months or more for Treyarch to release THEIR version of Call of Duty. While playing this demo since yesterday when it released for the Xbox, I haven’t had any fun whatsoever in a single match; players are hard to see, maps have no flow, everyone looks the same, “advanced movements” need to be drastically toned down, hit detection seems non-existent, and SBMM are all the reasons why I haven’t had any fun.
But on the bright side, I am loving these constant uploads Thunder, keep them coming. Also much respect for being 100% honest with your thoughts on 2020’s Call of Duty.
The RC-XD doesn’t show gamer tags so I always blow it up on a teammate.
I don't even wanna play this beta. It's not fun at all. 100% giving this game a miss this year

Last time I really had fun in Call of Duty was the first half of Advanced Warfare’s life cycle before the skill based matchmaking really kicked in.

I actually had a good time playing aw, ghost and infinite warfare, cold war mutiplayer is just unbearable
MW2019 was the worst imo
cw if it didnt have high sbmm better scorestreaks system and less clunky movement it would be a good fucking game
