Yeah, I watched his video the other day. I found out through his video that Black ops six Is going to require a consistent internet connection with no offline mode for either Zombies, campaign, And multiplayer. Because of.
That I canceled my pre-order. Black op 6 should have an offline mode There's no reason why we have to be forced to go online to play the game.
There should be A option to play with offline bots in multiplayer or play offline with zombies and campaign This has been a thing Since black ops one Why take away the Offline mode, just to get better graphics, It's Ridiculous.

It’s always the same thing with COD players. A new trailer drops, and, they forget everything bad about the series. They buy the game, and then just get disappointed again. Rinse and repeat.
EOMM is here to stay. Activision doesn’t need our money. They have whales to offset the cost. The same whales who blew thousands of dollars each on the last game. This is going to be the same shit, same redone maps, etc.
I very much regret getting back into COD from MW2019 to now. These games are shady as hell. Even the gameplay itself is inauthentic - some weird, semi-rigged monstrosity, like a virtual casino app. I’m not getting this shit, but, a whale will make up my lack of purchase in a minute of the game launch, so, whatever.

I know addiction is part of it and it's hard to beat but people need to start understanding that companies only speak 1 language: money. So vote with the wallet and things will change.
I don't get the same feeling playing cod I used to. Started with big red one on the ps2, basically quit after mw2019. I remember what cod used to be like, and these new titles just don't have that same magic. I tried to get into them, but in the end I just found myself burned out of $70 when I didn't end up playing the game post launch.

Mw2019 made me into a sniper amd since then I use my unique style of play in each cod since then i been enjoying each game.
The campaign was the true reason why i bou each cod because if u were only buying for muitiplayer then thats not how it should be done ever .
But if ur buying for muitiplayer I suggest u put as much time in custom game v.s bots to find ur style of play and what type of weapons fit ur playstyle this will help in the long run making it far too easy to go against others who may have not gotten familiar wit the maps bur also gives u a chance incase there are those who already lvl above i have more knowledge over them .
For me im pretty fast of getting use to a new cod and can quickly get to certain ranks because of how familiar I am wit everything the game offers .

6:25 I felt this statement so much. Using the M4 has been a pain for me for the longest. I went from dropping 2 K/D+ games while playing objective with the SMG to barely scrapping by neutral playing the objective with the M4. But after using it for a while now because I’m trying to get it to gold, I’m finding myself winning more gunfights and I’ve managed to keep a constant top 1 leaderboard in every game I play while playing the objective. It feels so rewarding when you get REWARDED for putting in time and effort
M4 was my first gold gun it’s painfully mid after that I did the AK and it felt like the entire game got easier

They will tease the players with a little bit of those bad practices and if they don't react then they will go full train ahead with it. They react? Just slow down a bit, keep them happy for a few months and then do it again once your numbers are back up again and when people forget. People didn't think much about the times that it happened before, they said "Nah, you are looking too much into it" and, guess what? That led us here. If you give an inch they will take a mile, they only want money and if it gives them money better than everything else then they will enforce it regardless of how you feel, you aren't the customer, the customer are those that don't complain and buy skins and things like that on a wim. At least with XDefiant, their SBMM is primarily for the Introductory Part of the game, and they even TELL YOU to your face that it will be ON during this period.
Plus, XDefiant's SBMM is nowhere near as thick as CoD's. It's not even close.
I mean, SBMM is technically in every game. It's just that COD has implemented it so poorly that they can't even hide it.
Thats what I like about destiny even though most other things they do are trash. For pvp theres an "open skill" bracket and a "outlier protection" bracket.

Proper ranked mode with SBMM and non ranked modes with no SBMM. HOW FUCKING HARD IS THAT TO UNDERSTAND
For a modern fps to sell and continue to make money it has to have sbmm, there are too many super high skill players, streamers, people with no jobs who play games 10+ hours a day. Xdefiant is a perfect example of this with 1-2 borderline pro players every match just wrecking the lobby

I had roughly 500 hours on Cold War Zombies, all weapons at max level, all Zombies Prestige camos unlocked... Real talk, I only ever played ONE GAME of MP. Literally 5 minutes of MP and 500 HOURS of Zombies. No regrets. Can't wait for Killing Floor 3 to release in early 2025.

None of this is a coincidence my brother. Every single metric that ruins a man is at an all time low/high/worst. Highest low testosterone rates, highest obesity rates, lowest fertility rates, highest suicide rate, 1 out of 3 men aged 18-30 is a virgin or hasn’t had sex in a year. Men are forged through self induced discipline, struggle, pain and suffering. Testosterone is what makes effort feel good and allows men to become hyper competitive. My testosterone is at 1,400NG/DL I train weights and Jiu-Jitsu 5-6 times a week while working 40+ hours a week and going to bed and waking up at the same times almost everyday. I get my blood work done every 3 months like clock work. If I don’t continue to do the things I don’t want to do but I know I need to my mental health will drastically decrease. We have men who are the most comfortable and weak as they’ve ever been and all of this hands down correlates to why the average gamer is a soft whiny crybaby.

Guys, Activision has patented SBMM. Who ever thought that it will not be a thing is deluded. We, the ones, the good players, who hate SBMM are just a small portion of the player base. The majority of CoD players nowdays are those who still crouch walk through the map, stand still for ads, miss a whole mag on someone who's more than 5 meters away, but THESE players are the ones that spend the MOST MONEY into CoD and SBMM exist to PROTECT them from US, so they dont get frustrated and quitt CoD and stay longer on the game. Wake up, CoD is dead same as Battlefield.
What's sad is a lot these casual player don't need protecting either. Like over on the xdefiant reddit (despite some of toxic shit on reddit in general). There are casual players fine with being matched against good and or sweaty players. Hell even some of them have stated they don't like sbmm/eomm.
And I feel the same, I'm not fond of sbmm/eomm at least in a casual playlist setting. I am fine with it being in ranked where it makes sense to be there.
But even as a good player I like to have some matches where I can just freely fuck around and not need to try hard or anything. And in order get a lobby where I can do this in CoD, I usually end up needing to just tank a few matches, which isn't fun either.
At least in xdefiant I have fairly mixed bag of matches, some laid back, and some are fairly sweaty.

I don’t get frustrated when I get shit on because I’m able to learn from the better players and learn from my own mistakes and get better. Started with a .8 k/d and am currently in 1.3. Having to sweat my balls off one game and be able to relax the next game is exactly what I want to experience when I get home and have an hour or two to play. But I also know quite a few people who buy every cod and spend thousands on microtransactions who are just disgustingly terrible at the game. Never understood why or how someone could be that bad but the game is catered to those guys and it’s extremely clear.

Your statement is somewhat wrong, in statistics we have something called a «normal distribution» and this means that 68% of players (the first standard deviation) will have around 0.85-1.15 kd. The reality is that most players are around the same skill level. So we don’t really need sbmm, but what sbmm/eomm is doing is giving players false wins, if you loose long enough you will be put in a easy lobby. This however is not realistic for the players under 0.7kd as they will be around 2.5% of the playerbase so there are few players to match against. The system is made so that the majority of players will loose some and win some to a degree that is addictive in the same way as gambling. You do not have control over how many times you win unless you are the top 2.5% of players.

Been loving the skill curve in XDefiant also. I wasn’t doing too hot at first but as I played the OBJECTIVE more and learned the maps I am consistently doing well.
I had a conversation with some people about SBMM yesterday at work and they think it’s the best thing and it’s great for everybody to enjoy equally. They didn’t take it lightly once I told them that they have been babied and actually suck at the game lol

Treyarch messed up not involving Milo like inviting him out or sending him things … he’s not holding back on them which is a good thing for us because all the influencers who were invited out to see it early haven’t said a single bag thing…
Yet the moment the game drops it's back to business for him no matter how bad the game actually is, he'll farm dozens of tutorials and pretend the game is perfect and smile on stream to hype people up into wanting to play the game, which leads into more clicks for his guides. He won't say his actual thoughts on the game/map until weeks or months after it drops, and the excuse is that "if Activision sees there's not enough interest in zombies they might cut the mode entirely". He was great until BO3 but he keeps farming his audience yearly like every other "positive" youtuber that pretends the game is fine and great. Very hypocritical.

He's also been trying to push this narrative of "Guys you have to understand they have to appeal to casual/newcomer/outbreak players" instead of outright saying that the mode is horrible. I’m 50 ish hours of gameplay in and I’m definitely feeling myself improving with map knowledge and general xdefiant strats.

SBMM/EOMM was absolutely unbearable in Cold War. It made it inplayable for me, and the agregious weapon challenges made it a joke to even attempt multiplayer, so I quit. I would not be surprised if it was even worse in this title.
Not sure why people thought this game would be any different. COD has been for andies, blue collars and whales for years now. They promote and endorse the few people who still play the games and try to hype up smtn that has been dead for a long long time

The problem is that the demographic shifted. We all know the gamers during the golden era are not the same group of people gaming now. It's a much weaker subset of individuals from a participation trophy era.
First of all, I don’t identify cod as a multiplayer anymore, it’s a br. Second of all I just won’t delete other games like the finals or xdefiant just so that I have one game (cod) on my Xbox.
I’ve said this for a while. They need to split each division of the game between studios. One take multiplayer, one take zombies/dmz, one take Warzone. It’s silly they pile the entire project onto one studio.
I thought the BO6 matchmaking was “engagement optimized matchmaking” (EOMM)? At least that’s what I heard elsewhere.

Good point about the new movement and Activision working to protect the more casual players from tryhards. Omni-directional movement does increase the skill gap one way or another so very interesting to see how the SBMM turns out

Streaming textures to save storage is so insane when these games are already like 250 gigs. How bad are these devs at their jobs that they aren't able to make these games at a reasonable size

I assume people just want to destroy people without trying. They said "get good" and then complain why so many people good at videogames these days.
They said they they want to play casual but their gameplay footage in every video is full of bunny hop, sliding, drop shot, quick scope... Right now fps players are some of the biggest hypocrite i ever seen.

There has to be some weird thing going on in XD with the matchmaking. I won't say it's SBMM but definitely something. I'm a decent player, not amazing but solid, and I constantly get into sweaty lobbies with god like players.

I was on a 24 winstreak today if that helps you realize it’s not sbmm, I play with 2-3 buddies at a time and it party v party match makes but that’s about it. Not based on skill just party size mostly

You should see how bad SBMM is in Warzone, way worse then multiplayer, and I play both. Since it’s free to play they can probably get away with a lot more EOMM. What sucks is WZ has a lot more RNG then multiplayer so having nothing but sweats in your match makes each engagement come down to luck. There’s no hard meta so each fight depends on what range you happen to be at depending on the gun you’re using. It’s super sweaty and no one misses shots so if your outside your guns sweet spot you have pretty much no chance to win that fight.

Honestly, in SBMM games, I win more and play against less sweats than in XDefiant. I dont know if all people playing Xdefiant are tryhard kids, but the removal of SBMM did not improve my gaming experience. Playing with people at your own skill level is alot better than randomly getting some TTV-named sweaty in each game dominating everyone.
Well the net code is shit, making gunfight a bit rng, and the spawns want to force super aggression meaning you can easily forced into a heavy mismatched fight.

@@ST4LK1INGFENIX If thats the excuse, then what youre saying is that the game is forcing you to have to play harder to play against the random sweatys that can dominate the whole match. This seems worse than sbmm. Because there is always going to be tryhards, with no sbmm, you have a greater chance of matching against them because its all random now.

(whole point is to have skill be considered at the very least when finding lobbies meaning on a list of 10 things, it should be between 8-10). XDefiant is cool and fun but good lord my win loss ratio in that game is so bad because more than half if not all my teamates cannot shoot to save there lives. It's so pathetic seeing the other team have a balanced team and my team is just straight garbage.

Modern Warfare 2019 screwed me up. I don’t even look at the mini-map anymore. I even brought the HUD super close to the center and I still don’t even see the mini-map.
