In this video, we’re talking some TRUTH about Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War! This video has my honest thoughts and opinions on the Black Ops Cold War BETA as it’s now been out for a few days and I've had a chance to play all the new maps, the new modes, the new weapons, & all the other new content the BOCW Beta gave us access to. Unfortunately there are many things I think could be improved including the Skill Based Matchmaking (SBMM), the connection, the lag, maps & more.

my best game was 40-1 and you have no idea how much gfuel i had to sniff along with hand deodorant and a towel. needless to say the next game was a kill trade house as if we were playing live in CWL.
I hope Treyarch take the feedback to heart and make improvements, this game has plenty of potential.

If you believe that they're going to do anything to make this game better than I have a bridge in the middle of Arizona to sell you, at least for me the Cod franchise is now done, with the sbmm and quickscoping being even more toxic than any other game I've played, this game is a wash for me anyway

See Thunder, this is why you should not blindly gas up games before they come out. From all the reports we heard, this is not your traditional Treyarch game. Treyarch came to save the day. But you cannot save trash from being trash. COD is no longer multiplayer centered. They only care about Warzone.

Dallen12378 Infinite Warfare and BO3 are still very much garbage and the furthest thing from what CoDs are supposed to be lol. BO2 was literally the peak of CoD.

bro these maps have potential they just need to increase the players for some of them. Cartel is beautiful and great but middle of map is a bush hiding campfest I hope treyarch can do it I don’t really rant on this game because I know treyarch has a huge void to fill and it’s probably really stressful for them but still.

The lag compensation favors people who are moving, the servers are running so laggy it is brutal. You are talking about sometimes being a full second behind in gun fights sometimes.
Lag comp is one of the hidden features of sbmm.
@@SouSporting No idea if that is the case, but I wouldn't be surprised. If they are willing to run harsh SBMM completely behind the curtain, no reason to think there is anything they won't do to get the player retention they want.
@@SouSporting yep, I call it an influence/sway mechanic that dynamically and constantly changed the competition in real time in an artificial manner. It's been around for quite some time now (I first noticed it heavily being used in 2011 when mw3 released) but that was when the matchmaking itself wasn't nearly as strict at trying to make everything overly even so to speak.

I just think in general most people got better at cod because it got more and more famous especially witg the introduction of warzone so yes lobbies are tougher but maybe there is not enough noobs around

Tbh without SBMM you will get into games with good players but its usually balanced out with maybe 2 3 casual normal players and they might have 1 or 2 guys on the other team that are really good that's how I liked my matches people that weren't great but also some challenge in the lobby to but with the Thick SBMM every single person is bunny hopping drop shotting camping shit ain't fun nobody wants to play sweats every single game that's why MW failed for most of the community as they cba playing sweaty nerds every single game lol

Idk if you’re too much of a smooth brain to figure out how to play this game but from my experience I had a little issue spotting enemies, especially if operators fucking look the same, and red gamer tags were showing up late despite me looking right at them.
Explain how in BO3 and BO4 you can tell who was the enemy even if they were the same specialist. Now in Cold War, same characters cant tell who is who.

Just FYI, keyboard & mouse can be used with PS4 & XBox without any mods. It depends on the game/developers for it to be enabled though.

Thats core in every game which is why I have played hardcore since ever. First shot wins 98% of the time and gun stats actually matter.

What they should've done was completely remaster Modern Warfare 2 with multiplayer and Spec ops. That would've help with Covid-19 and it would help Treyarch to not rush Black Ops Cold War.
I only played this Beta for like a day hitting Lvl. 11 and never hopped back on it the game is just not fun.

"It's just a beta" i hate it when people use it as a way to defend a product. It is a beta - a beta is a demo of sorts to help the developers recieve feedback from a larger variety of play testers. (And test servers etc)
Also in regards to cheaters it isn't difficult to cheat if the engine is mostly the same as other cods. There was a cod that had a massive rush of cheaters near launch because the game was too similar code wise etc to a previous cod that was hacked to shit.
PS4 doesn't suffer from hackers/modders, it suffers from people w/ terrible ping & Cronus scripting. Also, lag switches.
All the modded PS4 can't even go online. They might catch up though.

A beta is nothing more than the demo of An Unfinished game and an alpha is the dental of An Unfinished demo.
And even then once that beat it's over, all that you need is a fleshing, some polishing and touching up. Not a full overhaul. But yet, people are already used to that now is that it's okay. Just because it's the norm.

Nothing new on this cod expect the maps which arent rememberable at all. Paying $60 for a multiplayer that has the same killstreaks and reskined guns fml. It feels like all the maps were designed for domination and really felt like old school 9v9 groundwar maps. Once suppressor is unlocked I definitely had way more fun. Thunder me and my son were hyped to play against u on Moscow. keep it up u were the first youtuber I ever watched and still constantly do!!

All these big youtubers should release a video at the same time telling their fan bases to boycott the new COD until skill based match making is gone or very reduced, stop with the breaking up lobbies and prioritize connection
I wish they would just make the lobbies as balanced as possible, like if its 6v6 have 2 great players on each team and have 4 bad to good players on each as well it just blows my mind

I'm a sweat. My kd in mw is 2.49 while rushing/jumpshoting/dropshotting/bunny hopping/headglitch 24/7. But in CW something feels rare, i got melted hard a lot of gunfights. I think my average kd in the beta is 1.4-1.5. I don't know if it is a hitdetection issue or the other sweats are better than me. Also i can't see my ping. In mw when i get matched against people from very far servers, i just quit and try to find another lobbie again. I liked CW a lot (Ninja as a perk, ghost only when moving, no doors, no tactical sprint, good perk balance, no op shotguns) but they need to fix the bad hitdetection feeling

This game is a pile of crap, essentially MW 2.0. Needs some SERIOUS reworking to be even remotely good
The Brickhouse must be a sad life sweating your life away every single lobby, forcing yourself to enjoy a game for the simple fact of it being titled call of duty, there are dozens of truly well made shooters out there and people still defend this thrown together junk. If you wanna avoid sbmm try playing combined arms sbmm seems to just not work there or at least it's much weaker, I think it's because of the player count, the game has to fill such a big lobby that sbmm seems to take a backseat

Clearly, they don't want people cancelling their preorders in stores whereas they lock in a purchase from the digital copies right away and those are more difficult to cancel. If anyone doesn't like the beta, too bad... They've already bought the full game. That's a dirty move. haha XD I guess they're not very confident in their game if they're doing this. Dont do it, Ill explain why unless your good at c programming and have exceptional knownledge on how aim assit works it may not be worth it. Becuase youll have to pay for scripts that can range from 5$ - $100 or use the cronus zen free scripts, yeah itll give you a boost but due to sbmm youll just be put into games with other zen users or worse aim bot cheaters because of how well the cronus zen performs. I noticed that after I was doing well with the cronus zen I was getting put into lobbies with other zen users or clear cheating wall hack users on warzone of pubs.

I know. If you ain't sliding or jumpshotting, you're not gonna stand a chance. COD devs should just adapt DICE's way of movement (Battlefield devs), make jumpshotting & dropshotting near impossible/useless. Nerf or remove slide too.
That's just how gaming is nowadays. Compare CoD now to about 10 years ago. Everyone has somewhat played a CoD. This younger generation has way better hand and eye coordination and the older fans aren't as sharp as they used to be.

*14-16y old : aiming is skills (RTCW : ET, CS, MOH, )
*17-20y old : aiming and moving is skills (Halo, Quake , Unreal Tournament, ...)
*20-30 y old : all good boots on the ground shooters got replaced by jetpacks, drones, Turrets and laserguns ( horrible COD's, Titanfall, Destiny,...)
*+30 y old : DROPSHOTJUMPSHOTSLIDECANCELCAMERABREAKNORECOILSCOPEZ69 is skills (COD MW and CW)
It feels like all new FPS games will keep increasing in sweat and SCUFF gameplay, as aim isn't the main skill anymore. I had most fun in the COD franchise with BO and BO2, but i am sure this style of COD game won't work in 2020. We are getting older dudes, the new gen is smarter and more ahead then we were on our PS 2's back in the day. I hate this evolution, but it makes perfect sense to me.
Weirdly enough, I had my most fun in this beta on the snow map while playing that momentum game mode. The 6v6 maps in this game are HORRIBLE!

I’d be willing to bet the lobbies are tougher because the player base has shrunk dramatically since the golden days of call of duty. There just aren’t many bad players in the player base anymore.

I saw on twitter that the tick rate in the beta was lowered from 75, which was in the alpha down to 24. Modern Warfare's tick rate was 12.
