    Thank you so much Oscar and Eric for the enlightenment. I only saw your UA-cam videos after I had filed my petition for EB 2 (NIW) with a law firm in April, 2023. This particular session has been very informative because I am also applying from abroad and not in my home country. Funny enough, I am from the same country as Eric and in exact same field of research. I am currently on a work contract in Spain. I hope that my approval will also come quickly and that other processes will be swift.

    Thank you Oscar and Eric for this most valued insight. This is the second person I've seen, who said that the Officer who interviewed them was not familiar with the NIW route. This is good to be aware of beforehand.

    Thank you so much Oscar for the most wanted video. I have been watching your videos and I got approval last month for my I-140 petition. Could you give more updates on visa counselling or interview someone who did by him/herself. The recent retrogression will affect applicants which are not in the U.S?

    • @OscarsGreenCard
      @OscarsGreenCard  Рік тому +1

      Yes, retrogression will eventually affect everyone, I briefly touched on that question on this video ua-cam.com/video/iNwux62Jld8/v-deo.html&pp=ygUXcmV0cm9ncmVzc2lvbiBvc2NhciBuaXc%3D
      And I will do my best to cover that topic, I am always looking for volunteers!

    Hello Oscar! Thanks for sharing this. Keep up the good work! I love your videos! Just a question, in the video, Eric didn't mention when he got Documentarily Qualified. I am kind of in the same situation with him. I am doing consular processing with my EB-2 NIW too. Going to be submitting my DS-260 and civil docs next week. Actually my priority date is slightly earlier than his but also in March 2022. Do you know when Eric was DQ? Just so that i can get an idea of when mine would be too. Many thanks!

    Hi Oscar, great video for details on consular processing. What visa type got he stamped in the passport? (B1/B2, L, H.. etc.?)

    • @OscarsGreenCard
      @OscarsGreenCard  Рік тому +1

      Hi Andrés. He will get a visa for his green card, it's not anything related to B, L, H... it's just a visa to enter the country as a permanent resident, and once in the US they will may him the green card after paying a fee.

    Thank you for sharing this case with us. I watched both videos of the interview, and it wasn't clear to me what Eric wrote and proposed to do in the US with his endeavor. Will he continue to do research?
    - I am curious to know what he wrote because he mentioned here that he doesn't have any plans before he goes or any specific target state. My question to you is, can the proposal be vague without specifying where you intend to carry out your project? I think is important, no? specially if you will be applying from abroad....

    Hi Oscar! Love your videos! So so helpful. Just a question as Eric mentioned we can choose the US Embassy for Consular Processing. However are we not supposed to do the interview in our country of residence Embassy? For exemple, I'm french and I live in Paris so I would have to go through the US Embassy in Paris, France right? I can't choose any other one? Thanks for clarifying that!

    Hi Oscar thanks for your updates and tips I got approval for my i-140. I observe in your videos when you get approval of i-140 you consider it as green card approval I observed wrong or if you can get my question please answer in case of EB2-NIW if you get approval of I-140 what does that???? mean???

    • @OscarsGreenCard
      @OscarsGreenCard  Рік тому +1

      I-140 approval is not green card approval. You will only receive the green card approval after the adjustment of status or consular processing is complete. However, the I-140 part is the most difficult one, as you need to convince the USCIS that you fulfill the requirements for the category

    Nice work and very very helpfull for everyone, keep it up this work.

    1- Can I make my petition with both Advanced Degree and Exceptional Ability together ?
    2- I live in out of USA , for my understanding please confirm that I have to submit my I-140 Petition in USA visa centers not in my own country embassy ? so I have to send this full petition to USA ?
    3- Can my friend send this petition on my behalf from USA ? he live in there that's why.
    Thanks

    Through your experience, has anyone here managed to schedule an appointment for an interview at the embassy after Niw approval (ROW category) ? There are many friends who told me that it is easy to obtain Niw approval, but scheduling an appointment for an interview at the embassy is very difficult and perhaps not possible. Is this true?

    And one more question,
    His family like his wife and his son is already USA national, but there are some family issues so his wife don't want to live with him and she already file a divorce, she is in USA already , so in that way should he add family members documents and marriage certificate for his NIW visa application ? I know these are very difficult situations which you rarely find but please give idea on that side would be very helpful and grateful for you thanks.
