Hi Jim! I’ve been watching your channel since 2018. I’m also your client as I had a couple of paid consults with you. We appreciate you very much and thank you for fighting for immigrants! Re NIW I personally know a few people who got their LPR status under this category. It does work but it’s very complex and requires expertise. It’s definitely not for everyone and shouldn’t be used just because nothing else works.

Hi Jim, big fan of your show. I appreciate your comment about you being conservative and not over-promising on one’s prospect of getting their green card through NIW. I got mine-without RFE-just last month as a master’s degree holder in public health nutrition with a clinical dietetic license; I was only a year into my post-grad life and had only published 3 papers and received 7 citations at the time of filing (I learned that most attorneys feel comfortable with >=25 for the latter figure). I was obviously not a top-tier candidate for the NIW but retaining an experienced attorney definitely helped the process; certainly, the letters I obtained from some of the heavy-weights in my field were just as critical, and I’d like to believe that the circumstances with COVID-19 was beneficial to my case, too. My attorney was brutally honest like you and, just as he’s carried me over to the finish line, I have no doubt that you’ll do the same for your clients that you decide to bite the bullet for :) Thanks for all you do!

hello, thank you very much for your explanation, my questions are: can be the visa denied at the embassy (EB 2NIW)? or, what if the applicant is put under administrative processing for a long time, what we can do?

If they could always come back with 'why don't you get a job offer instead if you're so good', surely nobody would get NIW approved? Because even in your example of the immunobiology phd straight out of university, this awkward question could equally be posed to them and stump them. Can you please explain this briefly?

He explained it in the video. The nature of the NIW is to provide status to unique people who would immediately contribute to the US economy. If you're a specialist of 10 years in your field, it's probably for you. If you've just finished school, then it's probably not.

My friend received his phd and applied for the niw a year after. His got approved after one year. He only had a few papers published. Never had a h1.
I also know people who got niw approved with just a masters with only one publication.
I think it depends on national interest part. In my friends case his degree was on infectious disease.

Yes, I know student who get her NIW case approved one year after she became a doctoral student. Her master degree is biological science and she only published one essay.I think the mean point is that USCIS have more interest in STEM students than other students. As you can see, USCIS official website, USCIS mentions a lot about STEM majors.

Hi Dear, many people say that age plays a vital role in EB2. The USA does not need people over 50, considering that they will be retired soon and will not pay taxes to the Govt for a longer time. As soon as they retire, they will become the liability of the US government to spend thousands of dollars on them in their old age. How come if a person spends 50 years of age in another country and then lands in the USA to become a liability..... Need your comments, please? Do you have evidence of the successful cases in 50 or 55+, please?
