I just sanded my hardwood deck, and with the cabot clear natural it looks like new. I think it's still the best out there

Wish you would have given a visual sample of the different Timber Oil colors on the actual deck. Your flyer doesn't really help determine the difference between Honey Teak and Amberwood.

People of been warning me that cabbage isn’t any good… Like Sherman Williams bought them and then messed it up. I don’t know, but I just did a cedar deck with they’re oil in natural. And it looks pretty amazing and it’s bullet proof against water

It looks like a solid stain when it's applied in the video. Yet the example with the can sitting on it appears to be a semi-transparent. So which one is it - solid or semi-transparent ? Doesn't look like a true representation of the product.

It goes on looking solid, but becomes semi transparent as it soaks in.

Keep in mind Australian Timber Oil is a water-based product and is not applied like other timber oils where you put on enough to soak in and can wipe off the rest. Imagine my surprise when I dipped the brush into mineral spirits and it just beaded like oil and water. That's because it was water. This goes on more like acrylic paint. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that, but I now have to resand and reapply because after letting it soak for a little, some spots dried quickly, and some were still wet, then when I wiped, it became a blotchy disaster that I have to wait another day for it to fully dry before sanding it off because it's sticky now. My bad. I had previously used timber oil for years and this was a complete surprise to me. I should have known better when it didn't stink up the garage.

Cabot stain was very good a few years back but it's garbage these days. They have completely changed the formula to adhere to the new environmental laws . The new stain is of poor quality and the colors don't even match the original. Stay away.
