I use this product and it’s just “so so” but will continue to do it because none of them are that great but thank you so much for your video. It made me laugh. I really enjoyed it.
My neighbour who owns a sander does not use it anymore and says skipping the sanding gives 80% same result as without sanding if using the same colour. Maybe next year I'll try the Cabots deck clean and then apply the 2 coats without sanding in between.
Yes, the manufacturer only recommends one layer, so that's all I apply. Scrolling through the comments of my previous Cabot video, a couple people have used multiple coats though.
You went too light on your coat, their timber oil is designed to penetrate. I’ve never had issues with brush marks, bristle brush or a heavy coat with a sprayer will give you a longer life in between coats.
