Put a camera in the 2000G and live stream it on your website, it is really cheap and so much fun to watch. You can also see how Frank is doing and we can see your awsome arowana
Joey has already said the new website for the aquarium gallery will have live feeds on many of the tanks in the gallery the 120g rack and 2100g aquarium included.
I would still love to see somebody create a really long tunnel shaped aquarium that you could walk though and see fish overhead and on each side. I imagine that would be incredibly expensive though.
Joey you need a water proof GoPro and stream it 24/7 on a stream for that tank. And did anyone else notice in comparison to where the desk is going Frank will have a perfect line of sight to the desk?
I think of it as "the puppy syndrome ". When you get a new pet, even though you have an older pet, the new pet is coddled and favored. This is what the viewers seem to be doing with Frank. The arowana seems possessive of you, Joey, and I think that's awesome.
Megan Dinerman Also, Frank is a "baby" fish, while the arowana is very large and an adult. The same probably applies to Taylor's Longhorn Cowfish Cheese. He's cute now because hes very small but when he becomes an adult, he will probably be less popular because the "cuteness factor" is gone.
Jake Birkholz that would be awesome!!! Joey's channel got me interested in keeping aquariums. I now one one. Well technically two but my son won't give the one in his room back.
How bout Platinum Florida Gar?? 1. Omnivorous and can accept pellets and frozen shrimp if trained, and wont touch plants 2. Not so aggresive towards the same size fish 3. striking color of platinum 4. not so big sized, just around 60cm in captivity which is good for asian arowana
Pienso que ya tiene suficientes peces para la zona alta y para el fondo del acuario (cuando las 2 Arkansas sean adultas) . Necesita más peces para la zona media.
Don't worry Joey. I love the arowana. Can't wait to know hat his name is going to be. He deserves a name, he's a good boy! :D A shoal of Giant Glassfish (Paramabassis gulliveri) would be absolutely lovely for your big tank in my opinion! It's a really cool looking fish, they're peaceful, grow to about 11 inches, easy to feed and lives to be about 8 years. I also like the idea of a decent group of Florida gars in the tank but maybe thats mostly because it is my favorite fish but maybe it's not what your looking for or what would fit the tank the best. They're freaking cute though.
I just love how you are sticking up for the Arowana! I dont know if they will work in that massive tank, but a large school of Angels (adult) would look amazing! love your channel! Watching from South Africa 🌍🙌🐠
joey would you consider a school of bala shark? they grow large enough not to get bullied and they are extremely docile best wishes to your arro and frank :]
+KG cichlids agreed. BUT we also have to remember not everyone knows everything about certain fish. It is our responsibility to not only remember this but also consider it while educating.
The king of DIY I was going to make the same comment to you but you're already there. Sometimes it's hard waiting for people to catch up but remember you're the teacher, we're students not quite peers. Keep on doing what you do. We appreciate it. Just peek over your shoulder sometimes to make sure we're not too far behind. 😂
keep up the good work, I always thought the arowana was like the redline snakeheads top tank dweller, I see they are not, but Frank do act like a Oscar, man that is destructive, can't wait to see the plants, always wanted to see a whole or partial plant plus carnivore, and prey system
MasterAquatics hey master Aquatics .! i follow your channel ! if Joey is king of arowana you are the king of angel fish ! you have a great planted tank for the angels. !
Aww, how could people not love your Arowana? He's such a cutie! It's cute how he kinda just hangs out with you while you're chilling by the tank. Plus he's such a gorgeous fish!
People like frank because he acts like a puppy and, like you said, we humanized him with the name. Then we saw the arowana bully him and we now perceive frank is living in fear and decreased his quality of life. The arowana has no name and acts cold and detached like a heartless predatory fish. Kinda like a friendly dolphin that comes to play with you and a cold blooded killing machine great white ripping him apart. Of course this problem is mostly in our heads
I love Frank, he's an awesome looking fish. As you were sitting there, the Arowana watched every move you made, it's obvious how close you 2 are. I'm happy to hear they're all doing OK together.
I love all your water buddies! I enjoy seeing all of them swimming and each of them I enjoy for different reasons! It's really cool seeing the fish you have because I will never get that deep into the fish-keeping hobby. :)
Add a few Geophagus. Big ones obviously, like Geophagus altifrons (they get huge, 10-12¨ without a problem at all). They stay around the bottom, go well with rays and my Arowana ignores them completely.
I still think that Frank is cooler looking than that expensive arrowana. And he has a great personality. I think you should return him to a modest but smaller tank on his own so your fans can still enjoy him like the little puppy we love.
I do not know ANYTHING about fish as pets, but I hung on every word of this vid. I subscribed! I won't be investing in this hobby, but I am fascinated by learning about it. I really enjoyed knowing the characteristics, etc. of your fin companions.
Joey it's because everybody thinks they know more about your fish than you do there's a lot of judgment in this hobby I think the arrowana and a tank in the raise and Frank look great in that tank I like the Arawana as well I just don't have a big enough cake for one
( In my personal opinion, I think it's safe to say you know what you're doing.) 👐 🐠🐟🐡 Frank is GORGEOUS , the Asian Arowana is SPECTACULAR and the rays are ADORABLE! Thank you for your videos Joey! 😃
I love the arowana as wen you talk in front of the tank he swims along like to say this is all mine as it reminds me of my convict cichlid that live all on his own in a big tank and will kill any fish that gets near him.... and yet he's scared of me when I'm doing maintenance on the tank
For plants I'd recommend the Anubias genus (regular, Nana Petite, Gold etc) already tied to small lava rocks so you can just drop and position them into place. Also LOTS of Java fern (regular, trident, needle leaf etc). Can't wait to see your 2kG scaped with lush greenery! All the best, Master Joey.
smokin Dauberdoo420 my fire eel would never come out of his hole except for food. And they need to burrow in sand or at least have some pipes around the tank which would not look natural. Also the eel and the stingrays might run into problems, as they occupy the same area in the tank (floor) beautiful fish but it might be weird for this tank
Hey Joey. Had me laughing my head off! Go to love how Frank has become the star. On another note, I know the water is still mostly brown from the wood... going to take a while to clear. But man I still dream of this tank in black, who knows maybe one day you will change your mind do a DIY video on how to change the color once you picked one (guess its a pipe dream)..... On that note, the lights are still not in place right, my guess is they probably show up when the plants do. keep it up, I check many times a day for the next video. Still chuckling with your new found star.
I think you are knowledgeable in what you are doing so do what you do best Joey! Also thanks for the video I always enjoy them! Love your gallery already! Can't wait to see the outcome!
Most silverdollars will eat plants that's right. I've kept some different Myleus and Metynnis and what I can tell you by experience is that Metynnis maculatus is NOT eating plants. They get to a size of about 15cm to 18cm so if you can get adults or grow them out in a 120gal you should be fine. Problem with big characins is that almost every species will damage plants. Maybe Ctenolucius, Acestrorhynchus, Boulengerella or Hepsetus could be an option. BUT since they are living near the surface the arowana might attack them. With barbs it's a little different. Bigger species of Dawkinsia might be an option. Adult Sahyadria denisonii as well, they'd look fantastic in there! Balantiocheilos melanopterus could be kept in this tank as well (and you could show people on the internet how to keep them which is NOT in a 50-150gal tank but in a way larger aquarium) If you decide to move Frank in one of the 120gal you could go for a group of peaceful cichlids such as Satanoperca and Geophagus.
Okay, we need to see a picture of Frank holding a current newspaper as proof of life.
Anthony Ragan 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I laughed so hard when i read this lol
Lol
frank blink twice if they got you hostage
atlas can't blink. *makes two bubbles
*fart twice?
Fish don't have eye lids sweetie
atlas lol
atlas LMAO
LOL someone needs to make a meme of you cuddling that arowana stat.
Seriously though... very good explanations Joey. :)
Solid Gold Aquatics how to know my gold fish is how much old
Solid Gold Aquatics exactly! You can tell how much love he has for his Arowana.
Solid Gold Aquatics I love you
Thats the same thing i was thinking woah
Solid Gold Aquatics HI JENNIE!!!
i think when frank nudged the arowana , frank whispered "the north remembers"
I lol'd just now!!!
ilikewasabe more like "for the watch"
Yo Hapz I was thinking "winter is coming for you"...
The north is here? Team north?
Thats racist
Put a camera in the 2000G and live stream it on your website, it is really cheap and so much fun to watch. You can also see how Frank is doing and we can see your awsome arowana
Tom Jow yes do it plz DIY
People said for him to not paint a window on the wave maker pane so a camera can be put there
Joey has already said the new website for the aquarium gallery will have live feeds on many of the tanks in the gallery the 120g rack and 2100g aquarium included.
Tom Jow I think I just might do that great idea
SBdunks3 a GoPro Tha s waterproof will do the trick as well.
Frank hiding behind the wood n watching Joey is the cutest thing ever 😂😂
Petition to change the aquarium gallery to "The Frank and Friends Gallery, dedicated to Frank, brought to you by Frank."
Maggie Smith I would sign it.
Maggie Smith YESSSSSSSS
Maggie Smith agreed the arowana is pretty lame tbh
lmao youre going to trigger joey
LMAO! you win the internet!
Build a huge tank that goes through out your house so Frank can follow you around all day
Tony Tanti hahahah 😂
This comment is amazing
I would still love to see somebody create a really long tunnel shaped aquarium that you could walk though and see fish overhead and on each side. I imagine that would be incredibly expensive though.
yup i would love to see something like that.
BrandyWine6969 these tanks already exist theirs one in the Atlanta Georgia aquarium
Frank is cute but the arowana is the BOSS!
bigdreams yes! But he died 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭(I'm actually devastated)
I'm very sad too. I can't imagine what Joey's feeling. :(

We love you arowana don't be jealous - like this if you love little arowana. He's our bud

Arowana - MINE MINE MINE MINE. Frank - MINE MINE MINE MINE. Stingrays - bruh we just her to PARTY.
KingofDuelZZ someone bring this comment straight to the top!!!
Joey you need a water proof GoPro and stream it 24/7 on a stream for that tank. And did anyone else notice in comparison to where the desk is going Frank will have a perfect line of sight to the desk?
Mitchell Lubline yesss
He’s just like, “*insert weird noise here* I love him so much I’m gonna explode”.
Thanks for education us about Frank.
*educating
"But what he doesn't know is that I already have a little arowana I cuddle with at night *cuddles stuffed arowana toy*" SAME JOEY
This is pretty sad but I'm from the future where Frank is actually dead RIP Frank
I think of it as "the puppy syndrome ". When you get a new pet, even though you have an older pet, the new pet is coddled and favored. This is what the viewers seem to be doing with Frank. The arowana seems possessive of you, Joey, and I think that's awesome.
I ship it.
arowana don't have a personality like a flowerhorn.
Megan Dinerman Also, Frank is a "baby" fish, while the arowana is very large and an adult. The same probably applies to Taylor's Longhorn Cowfish Cheese. He's cute now because hes very small but when he becomes an adult, he will probably be less popular because the "cuteness factor" is gone.
it has a name, he just doesn't say it in the videos
I lost it at the stuffed arowana that's the most relatable thing I've ever seen in my life...
I honestly want one xD. I'm a sucker for stuffies.
Sam Lee I have a stuffed giraffe named Henry
Joey, I love that you are creating a gallery to capture many different aspects of the hobby. Will you ever build a koi pond?
Jake Birkholz that would be awesome!!! Joey's channel got me interested in keeping aquariums. I now one one. Well technically two but my son won't give the one in his room back.
Here is an little experiment, kick all the other Fish out, put two Guppys in there and wait how long they need to overstock the tank 😂😂
LaTun 202 that would be hilarious
Lol yesssss
YES XD
LaTun 202 4 days
LaTun 202 Cool Experiment
How bout Platinum Florida Gar??
1. Omnivorous and can accept pellets and frozen shrimp if trained, and wont touch plants
2. Not so aggresive towards the same size fish
3. striking color of platinum
4. not so big sized, just around 60cm in captivity which is good for asian arowana
Nice choice!
Pienso que ya tiene suficientes peces para la zona alta y para el fondo del acuario (cuando las 2 Arkansas sean adultas) . Necesita más peces para la zona media.
Frank's life matters
Joey any chance you can setup a live webcam to view how the fish interact without human presence and we can watch them anytime we want.
Hex0Tex yess!!
that would be hella cool
Brilliant idea! 😊
Yessssss!
pretty sure he said he's setting up a website that wil have this feature! i cant wait
Don't worry Joey. I love the arowana. Can't wait to know hat his name is going to be. He deserves a name, he's a good boy! :D
A shoal of Giant Glassfish (Paramabassis gulliveri) would be absolutely lovely for your big tank in my opinion! It's a really cool looking fish, they're peaceful, grow to about 11 inches, easy to feed and lives to be about 8 years.

Awesome. Love this update where you just talk about your fishes and tanks. You've been so busy setting things up that I've missed this. Thank you!
Frank is life, Frank is Bae.
Mohammad I correct
close your nasty mouth... Frank is not poop.
Mohammad I frank is love, frank is life
Mohammad I Franks gonna fly in your window.......
I just love how you are sticking up for the Arowana! I dont know if they will work in that massive tank, but a large school of Angels (adult) would look amazing! love your channel! Watching from South Africa 🌍🙌🐠
joey would you consider a school of bala shark? they grow large enough not to get bullied and they are extremely docile best wishes to your arro and frank :]
frank is surely the NEW viewers' choice award winner...
and arowana is the jury's choice award winner..😂😂
Sayantan Roy Valentina? Lol
You should set up a live web cam on the 2000g tank!
Aaron Sutton but one that points towards franks little section
Aaron Sutton Ooooo! A Twitch on these fish would be awesome!!
Put a gopro on frank
It's really sad watching this video now
oh my god i know right
Lefman Kan what happened?
Marshmellowcats The arowana died
Lefman Kan poor buddy :(
How
Also think one of the rays should be named: "Charles" so it can swim up to the others and say "Call me Charles, Ray Charles"....😎
Liaan Lategan I thought of Charles Lee Ray...oops
😂😂😂🤣
Plot twist frank is dead and that's a different flower Horn...
Rafael Soriano frank never dies.
I don't even know how I came across this channel, but I really love listening to you talk about your fish.
Territorial fish, just taking his spot, people need to calm down lol
+KG cichlids agreed. BUT we also have to remember not everyone knows everything about certain fish. It is our responsibility to not only remember this but also consider it while educating.
Being a typical ambush predator.
The king of DIY I was going to make the same comment to you but you're already there. Sometimes it's hard waiting for people to catch up but remember you're the teacher, we're students not quite peers. Keep on doing what you do. We appreciate it. Or the fact that people don't know how to look up stuff for themselves and rely solely on others telling them.
Frank is such a majestic fish.
Among all the comments about fish, props on your production Joey, it has been steadily increasing and noticably better than even a few months ago.
Joey when are you going to swim in that tank? Lol
MasterAquatics He definitely needs to take a dip in there#
MasterAquatics he said befor he would at 500k then he'll need to get in to do the plants
MasterAquatics at 500000 subs..in a mermaid costume im pretty sure he said ..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
MasterAquatics hey master Aquatics .! i follow your channel ! if Joey is king of arowana you are the king of angel fish ! you have a great planted tank for the angels. !
He has no choice if he wanted to put plants on the dw.
Frank is the fish god no arguments allowed
CloutLord WolfFox Well if Frank is god then Taylor Nicole Deans fish cheese but be at lest a king.
Goldiebubbles no, CHEESE IS LIFE 🙏 I can't live with out cheese.
CHEESUS.
I praise cheese tho
CloutLord WolfFox his merch is selling like a god church
Aww, how could people not love your Arowana? He's such a cutie! It's cute how he kinda just hangs out with you while you're chilling by the tank. Plus he's such a gorgeous fish!
You inspired me to get in to aquariums
Me 2
You hearted my video . Life goals
Same
great video again! THANKS, KING OF DIY
I like these kinds of videos whare you are just relaxed and talking to us, Joey. You should do it more often...
Keep uploading frequently, we love it!
That is why great whites are my favourite fish (Sharks are fish right?)
ToWatchMusic thank you!
As is the connection between arowana and owner in king of diys head
JubJubAc yes they're are, only difference is that a fish like Frank is a bony fish and a shark is a cartilaginous fish
I don't see any of that...Frank has his personality, the arowana his. Frank is chilling in his space and the aro was just checking him out.
Your videos completely make my day! The information, the passion, the jokes and of course the fish!❤️
I found the perfect name for the arowana. BEAST! Glad Frank is ok. I like the Arowana more than any thing.
with his attitude, it would be more like beast lord, lol
The arowana is my favourite!! He always has been and always will be :) He's the king!
There you go, that can be his name--Rex
I love Frank, he's an awesome looking fish. As you were sitting there, the Arowana watched every move you made, it's obvious how close you 2 are. I'm happy to hear they're all doing OK together.
the arowana isn't trying to protect you, it's trying to beat frank to the food because it associates you as i'm going to get fed
Ahh what do you know compared to him
Hes alive 😂
oh man... the comments were insane!! (i must admit... i trolled a few of them)
I love Frank🐟🐠
claudia gallagher this comment contain spoiler
four or five tinfoil barbs would awesome they get fairly big and are different in color of any other fish ive seen they are just unique
What do you think about adding silver shark / red tail / clown fish. They get big? Especially the silver sharks.
I love all your water buddies! I enjoy seeing all of them swimming and each of them I enjoy for different reasons! It's really cool seeing the fish you have because I will never get that deep into the fish-keeping hobby. :)
Keep in mind that cicchilds are supposed to act like that they hide and care for their territory
Add a few Geophagus. Big ones obviously, like Geophagus altifrons (they get huge, 10-12¨ without a problem at all). They stay around the bottom, go well with rays and my Arowana ignores them completely.
Agreed
I was about to give this same suggestion. Not to mention they're beautiful!!!!!
Team Nine A good large dither fish school would be-
•Bala shark
•clown barb
•pink tailed chalceus
100x this! Geophagus are amazing for color and get along with all fish. Winermilleri and Red head topajos are my favorite.
I still think that Frank is cooler looking than that expensive arrowana. And he has a great personality. I think you should return him to a modest but smaller tank on his own so your fans can still enjoy him like the little puppy we love.
Frank is like taylor nicole dean's Cheese
WhileyouwerereadingmynameIstoleyoursandwich yes
"Cheese...Cheese, no stop it, stop nibbling in my finger..." Taylor is awesome😂
WhileyouwerereadingmynameIstoleyoursandwich I was thinking that too!!!
WhileyouwerereadingmynameIstoleyoursandwich OMG OMG OMG FIRST TIME SEEING A TAYLOR DEAN COMMENT IN ANOTHER UA-camRS VIDEO
CHEEEESE!
OH MA GOD FRANK! Him and cheese should meet up lol
From Taylor Nicole Dean?
Hailey Fernando yeah
PugsterJosh or Joey should name the Arowana Shredder or grater, cheese would not stand a chance against that!
Liaan Lategan oh god ikr 😂
Omg yes!
I do not know ANYTHING about fish as pets, but I hung on every word of this vid. I subscribed! I won't be investing in this hobby, but I am fascinated by learning about it. I really enjoyed knowing the characteristics, etc. of your fin companions.
Happy late bday mr arowana
Joey it's because everybody thinks they know more about your fish than you do there's a lot of judgment in this hobby I think the arrowana and a tank in the raise and Frank look great in that tank I like the Arawana as well I just don't have a big enough cake for one
Joey
your the man, don't worry about the masses, love your work and what you do for the hobby.
big inspiration for me
chur 🤘
Thank God Frank is alive
I would love to see a tank that size full of tropical fish that would be amazing especially guppys
Just imagine how many Guppys😰😰😰
Debi Kramer 1500 Corydoras Pygmeus would be my choice. :D
One thousand otocinclus for me!
Or a giant colony of shell dwellers :)
That would be so eye catching.
( In my personal opinion, I think it's safe to say you know what you're doing.) 👐 🐠🐟🐡 Frank is GORGEOUS , the Asian Arowana is SPECTACULAR and the rays are ADORABLE! Thank you for your videos Joey! 😃
I love the arowana as wen you talk in front of the tank he swims along like to say this is all mine as it reminds me of my convict cichlid that live all on his own in a big tank and will kill any fish that gets near him.... and yet he's scared of me when I'm doing maintenance on the tank
dot muggridge I love convicts, hands down my favorite species of fish. So much personality in such a little package
Such a respectful nudge! hahahahah
Don't scare me like that Joey!
I usually like reading through the comments I should've waited a little bit so all the comments aren't "FIRST!"
But then how will you know who was first!?!
The king of DIY when you pulled the stuffed animal out I laughed so much😂
I love them.
first
That plush arowana hug though😂😂👏Joey your the best you provide information and tips. I love your videos man keep doing what your doing!
Happy belated birthday arrowana
Are you getting the goldfish back???
Awesome video, as usual. I smiled when you said that "you'd be revealing the airiwana's name soon" woot woot rock on Joey
Frank's fins are full he's fine !!! how about a fire eel :-)
smokin Dauberdoo420 my fire eel would never come out of his hole except for food. And they need to burrow in sand or at least have some pipes around the tank which would not look natural. Also the eel and the stingrays might run into problems, as they occupy the same area in the tank (floor) beautiful fish but it might be weird for this tank
You got me into buying arowanas and big huge tanks and my dad is pissed off xd
I can relate xD.
Oh my gosh, my dad hates my fish obsession😂 I'm sure he'll up my rent soon to pay for all my filters running haha.
Haha 😂
We started with a 5 then 10, 20, 65, 75, 90, and 350.
You are doing a great job with your fish and I love the bond you have with them. This is a cool channel. Thanks for sharing.
Glad Frank is OK.
Give the other fish names Joey.
He "loved" it, not pinned
I trust your call on what's best for your fish! I love to watch the way the Arowana watches you! 🤓
Basically, Frank's an a-hole and the poor Arowana's getting the flack...
Yes, but he's our a-hole.
Sheeps Wool lol
Expect nothing less from a Frank.
When I read the title I literally had a breakdown
Diamondgamer 10 Same. I was all prepared to be very mad. But at the same time had faith that Joe would rescue Frank if he needed to.
Diamondgamer 10 I freaked, because I thought the Arowana was named Frank 😂😂😂
Josh Davis-Writer lmao
Diamondgamer 10 I nearly wanted to go suicide
Liz Elliott Yeah he probably would
FRANK CAM!!!!
RIP in pieces Franku
I stumbled across this video somehow and know nothing about fish but admire your passion for them... Therefore you've earned a new subscriber
Get your Frank on!
Frank is a savage!!!
I think you are knowledgeable in what you are doing so do what you do best Joey! Also thanks for the video I always enjoy them! Love your gallery already! Can't wait to see the outcome!
I live for frank (frank is a meme now lol)
ok but consider this: naming the arowana marijuana
Ana Lu 😂😂😂😂
Thaaat . . . Would be awesome.
omg I laughed so hard
Ana Lu +++
Ana Lu i call mines that when i talking fast
RIP Buddy 💔 you will be missed
Don't scare us like that!!! Frank rules!!! ❤
Frank the GOAT
Man really fish saved my life and this channel makes me want to build big fish tanks and I have plans to do so!
The cuddly arowana 😄
Add 1000 neon tetras.
for food
Thomas Asplund lol! I was about to say 1000 guppies 😂
Thomas Asplund a Betta
the best birthday gift for the arowana
The arowanna will just eat them all😂
good luck with the planting. I can't wait to see it. Frank is cool, but the arrowana is amazing.
The arowana is epic! Clearly King!! I have chiclids, frank is cool & all but the Rays & Arowana are so good!!
Balantiocheilos melanopterus could be kept in this tank as well (and you could show people on the internet how to keep them which is NOT in a 50-150gal tank but in a way larger aquarium)
If you decide to move Frank in one of the 120gal you could go for a group of peaceful cichlids such as Satanoperca and Geophagus.
Are angelfish not a viable option? They grow to be 6 inches in size and school don't they?
Yay, that big fish is so happy; great job Joey! Now he needs a name and Frank will love the plants.... Peace and Hugs KP
It's frank AL that matters I watch for frank! !!!!!!
