How do you soak up the solder so easily with the wick?
I've tried adjusting heat, soaking the wick in flux, making sure my iron tip isn't oxidised and is tinned. 🤷🏻♂️
I'm shocked (not really) that The Rock attached his name to such a ridiculously low-quality Chinese off-brand using Micro USB instead of USB-C, lmfao. So hilariously on point for him.
why not to install type C connector
So question. if a head phones with micro USB go's bad. is possible to upgrade it to a USB-C? or does have to be the USB micro?
AFAIK, the pinout of micro USB and USB-C is different. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

How is USBC better? Same connector more pins. You have more USBC connector selection with different shapes then micro USB. it's impossible to find a USBC connector if one is not made available for the device and it's hard to improvise or fit another USBC connector like we did in this video with Micro USB. USBC is also more difficult to solder compared to Micro USB.
USBC is better because you can not plug it the wrong way. That makes mechanical failures like this one in the video much less likely to happen.

The low melt/temperature solder will burn when touched 😮, it doesn't cool off as fast as regular solder, however, it does work great. 😊

BTW, when your face is even partially exposed, the camera wants to focus on your face. Cover your face better, and the camera will fall back to focus on what's in front of it. You almost got it a couple of times, there! Another great fix, Northridge! 🤣🤣🤣

Why? ... Patents. Once one company patents their connector, no other company can legally make connectors that way; thus, they change theirs enough to avoid patent infringement and patent that to protect their investment. Every company that wants to offer USB connectors must assemble their own unique line to offer. This skirts the patent laws, but it also ensures that competition will reduce prices.
Personally, I think it would be better if IEEE would incorporate a specific connector design and PCB footprint into their specifications and apply for the patents themselves for reasonable licensing fees.

These are the equivalent of $20 headphones but you're paying $260 for "Under Armor" and "The Rock" on it.
