Good video. Just curious, since you put the black ground wire all the way near the battery, why didnt you also route the red wire to the fusebox? I think this will be my option because it seems easier than the marker light tie in, but also so I can turn on and off with my aux switch - can you confirm? I also couldn't really see how you attached the lights onto the grill with the zip ties, loks really clean, but hard to see.

yes, you can use a fuse tap for power as well.
on ur website the description says universal, in theory can they work on a jeep grand cherokee limited 2017?
Follow the same basic steps but removing the grill may vary.
I have the original (round led) style, they do not fit very well at all, are these plug and play with the wiring/connectors from the original style?

Does not affect, the front camera still works like normal.
I have a 21 JL, and I just bought these and wired them up to the DRL as instructed. They work fine when dark when my headlights are on, or when I manually switch my car's light mode to low beam or side light. But they are off when I switch to AUTO mode and during daytime when I am driving. (even my DRL is on when I am driving), is this normal? How can I make them turn on during daytime on AUTO mode when I am driving? Thanks!
The video shows how to wire the lights to the parking lights so, correct, they come on with the parking lights not in Auto during the day. You can also connect to the fuse box on an ignition powered fuse so they are on whenever the engine is on.

they look nice, but what happens when you need to take off the grill
There are connectors on the back of the lights, you simply unplug then like you would for the trail cam.
@@AACstyle For me, I soldered all 3 black wires, and all 3 red wires together, added some 18 gauge wire, and soldered those to a 2 prong trailer plug. This way I can disconnect all the lights right near the front grill, if I need to remove the grill. Simple.

@@ORACLElights My only complaint is that the video makes it a bit hard to see what your doing while following along, and I didn’t receive any terminal connections with my order. I had to instead use some I already had. Overall very happy with the appearance just waiting for it to get dark for the real affect.

@@johnny1516 Jeep makes it pretty easy to connect to the factory Aux switches, you just run the + wire that we connect to the parking lights to the Aux you want to use instead.
How do u wire them in if the jeep has the led kit? Are there more directions or vids anywhere? Thanks, don’t want to get it torn apart and be stopped here

@@harrisonschroeder120 in that case it it may be better for you to go to the fuse box for ignition power. This will make the lights turn on whenever the Jeep is running rather than with the parking lights. Can more than just 3 be connected together?
These are sold in sets of 3 but, yes you can add multiple sets for a different look.

I tapped into the white/brown wire, but the lights only come on when the headlights are on and not with the drl

correct, that wire is the parking light like it states in the video not the DRL. You can turn them on and off by switching from Auto headlight to the "P" mode for parking light.

Are the t-taps waterproof?
The washers will rust... paint them first.
