  • This low sugar apple oat bars are very easy to make.
    Ingredients:
    1. 1 cup quick cook oats
    2. 1 cup rolled oats
    3. 2 tablespoons chia seed
    4. 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    5. 30 g melted butter or coconut oil
    6. 1 cup apple puree or apple sauce
    7. 1-2 tablespoons honey, maple syrup or golden syrup
    Method:
    1. Preheat the oven to 180C (350F). Grease and line with non-stick baking paper a square baking pan 20 x 20 cm (8 x 8 inch.).
    2. In a bowl mix the both oats, chia seeds and cinnamon.
    3. Add the melted butter and apple sauce, mix to combine.
    4. Press the mix into the bottom of the baking pan, level it.
    5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, It should be firm to touch but not hard.
    6. Cool and cut into squares. Makes 16 squares.
