Beautiful presentation, Harry, and a beautiful bowl, too. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this, and commend you on narration while you work. Keep video's coming! Dale
Harry thank you for taking time to show us how you do segmented bowls. It occurs to me that you method might work well for me. And I agree, Mike Waldt is an excellent turner and seems to be a wonderful person. Hope you post more videos in the future.
A much appriciated video a pleasure to watch and very easy to understand. Simple and straight forward fine finish. Thank you for showing your other bowls. A great first and hope to see many more. David in DK.
Excellent Harry! Very well done, explained and demonstrated, Beautiful bowl..... You do great work. I agree. Mike has an amazing talent and his commentary makes him a joy to watch and learn from. Love your shed, shop and choice of music too! Thumbs up buddy! :-) Best regards, Charlie
I love these guys from 'across the pond'! They ALWAYS state that they run the metal detecta over the timber. Thats because the wood they use could have a 16th century spike in it somewhere. Lovely shop, so very Zen, I'm sold and a subscriber. Keep making vid-jeos plz.
An excellent video, your methods were well explained resulting in a lovely segmented bowl. A bonus you used measurements in inches and not that horrible metric system. I fully agree with your comments on MIke, he is an excellent woodturner and although I have not met him he seems a very nice helpful guy, thanks James
Absolutely brilliant Harry, well made indeed. The bowl looks lovely and I envy you the space :) Love Wildwood flower at the top and tail of a nicely made video. Fantastic job and I look forward to seeing more from you!
Pretty nice first video. If I decide to do a video I hope mine is as nice. I feel like all the great information we receive out here watching people like Mike Waldt and Capt Eddie we should pay back and help other new wood turners. Until next time.
+Richard Coyle Thank you again Richard, that's exactly why I do it, it's a bit of fun in my retirement, and putting something back into the woodworking community, thanks again mate, cheers. Harry

Harry, you made a nice, clear video, so thanks for sharing your knowledge! My next bowl will be a segmented bowl. I'm looking at UA-cam videos not to try to develop my own way of making one. +Rick Hilton Hi Rick, Thank you very much, for your kind comments! And also for watching the video! I'm sorry I didn't say in the video which finish I used must of forgotten, I couldn't remember I had to go back and look at the video, going on the container I used to apply the finish it was one of two finishes, the first one a 50-50 mix of Shellac and boiled linseed oil or the second one: Shine Juice / Friction Polish The formula I used on this one is: 1/3 denatured alcohol (methylated spirits) 1/3 boiled linseed oil 1/3 liquid shellac Hope this helps Rick, Best wishes Harry
