Very nice. I was wondering about the joint at the top showing. You did a great job concealing it. I am definitely going to add this to my list of things to do.

really nice box Harry ( that wood looks like it's from Mersey Timber in Ellesmere Port!!!). I called in and got a few similar blocks. Where do you get the Milliput from?

Thank you Sean, and yes I got the wood from Ellesmere Port, and the Milliput I got from eBay, I found five colours in all, and tried them all, they all seem okay, give it a go mate, and let me know how you get on, Best wishes Harry

That's great Harry. I wondered how you were going to achieve the knot and the Milliput line to hide the join was a great idea :) I still have to have a go with Milliput and I will have to have a go soon before Mr Overton starts getting at me ;)

Lovely job Harry. I have done a couple of key rings with the scroll saw and Milliput as an inlay, using the technique for the box lid is a great idea. Cheers, Jim

What a cool way to do an inlay. In this day of the cnc woodworking, its cool seeing it done old school. Going to have to get me some milliput and add this to my todo list; I've got everything else, why not :) Thanks for the inspiration Harry.

Really nice box. I think that milliput would look great on a deep red colourd wood.

Yes I agree, I think that silver/grey milliput would look a lot better on darker wood,
