Lol it does matter if your racing because that's the point of it to win now yes everyone should have fun doing it but racing is about winning not having fun that comes with the racing....

Allright Kiwi's? Yup, over here in Nórthern Cali , we've got a kajillion Mini Z clubs. Problem is their fairly unattainable for the beginners, because they're pretty damn expensive to say the least. I mean don't get me wrong, the quality is top notch, but, NOT $200+ a piece top notch, nah mean guys?? Earlier this year I picked up a GP Toys "Drift Shark", model# S918, which was around $60 bucks RTR with a lipo. You guys should check that "Drift Shark" out, it's killer for the price, puts up a good fight to the WL Toys and Mini Z's I tell ya, QUITE FAST!!! 👍💯 First time stopping byour channel, looking good!!! 💯‼️

haha, guys I race at club meets and usually come in at the tail end of the grid, so I feel your pain on the learning front haha. I have honestly been into RC for years but still haven't nailed it yet lol, This years achievement was mastering jumps though 👍
Hey, you guys went to Multi Mini Station. Not the easiest to find. It used to be a carpet track until they upgraded to RCP. The staff are nice. They have lent me double sided tape numerous times. There's also Topzpeed, which has a carpet track and people mostly run Atomic there, and HRC Arena for drifting. Both cater to 1/27 and not more than 1km away from MMS. Of the three, MMS is the cheapest. The stock mini z tires are pretty terrible. People usually run 30 degrees front and twenty rear.
Amazing that you've found the best MINI-Z course I've seen (not that I've seen a lot). They ARE expensive though. Petronas RC is the coolest looking on the table. I love the rounded lines. It also stands out on the track. The Kouros comes next though black is hard to see on the track I think. You should check out Mark Santa Maria's channel. He has recently got into Mini Z and has a few tips local pros taught him.
This is where you want to be in 2020, especially with the condemic covid. I have an ATOMIC DRZ to drift and a GLA for racing I prefer the GLA to the MINI Z but both are quality product and that's why they are a bit pricey. Have you guys ever seen the Kyosho Dnano 1/43 scale? they look like MINI Z but smaller only thing is that they are discontinued and are obviously hard to come by with parts even harder to get!

Glad to see you finally got a win joe there cool but $380 in Oz for those Australia just doesn't have the support or the facilities for rc's the hobby is huge over there, states even England has a much bigger base for the hobby I really wish it was bigger over here ....love the channel race days are the best love the new style of filming to it's really cool getting a closer look at the city and facilities you guys go to.

Hey Graham! Yes we live in Hong Kong 😉 I find the AWD to be easier to control but they are pricey... you could always try the WLtoys AWD K989. But if your happy to spend the money I would go for the AWD! 😃 glad we are able to help make the lockdown a wee bit more bearable 😄😊
I've already got the a959b which is to powerful for indoors bit is a great car for the price I'm getting the metal upgrade kit for it so hopefully will b better when I fit it. How long have u lived in Hong Kong for? They look like they have so many great places for racing rcs. Thanks for the reply
The 2wd's skid out a lot easier when you turn left, and oversteer if you turn right. It can't be fixed with aftermarket parts, but the 4wd mini z is wayyy better. I have 4 of them, the first gen (blue wrx ) and the newest 2wd gt race car. Love to Hong Kong and it's people - especially when it is being invaded by a shameful beijing, who did and absolute amateurish job containing this virus, and should be ashamed.
Totally overpriced!!! That's why I'm stokéd that the competition has put out several models that are just as good if not better ànd cheaper than the Mini Z's from Kyosho. There's the WL Toys 989, the Shino Hobby Q cars, the Gool RC Drift Shark, I've got one of those cars and it kicks ass!! Super fast ànd easy to control,, the quality is just as good, so are the radios they provide. That Drift Shark is a winner for sure. I do donuts with that thing all day long!! 😂‼️👍
