Are there any electronic modification needed to add a pn 70 motor to a Mr-03? I can remember back over 20 years ago that people would solder fet’s to the circuit board to keep from frying it
Nope, just drop it in!!! The mr03 and newer can handle it just fine.

Nice I'm new to mini z collection question why you use tires with no treads.
Better grip on the RCP foam track surface. Some cars do run treaded, but very soft tires. Just depends on the amount of grip you want.

hello. Is the mr-03 the best one if I want it tuned a bit. What is the most important tuning for a smooth ride ? I want the car to drive not cornery, but nice and smooth, and I like alu and carbon, but only if it betters the car. No money just for optics. Thanks. Regards. RCCLL
The best performing cars are the low center of gravity cars with brass or steel chassis. The MWX, Relfex, RTRC, glr, atomic and Nexx Spector are all fantastic cars. The MR03 is really more of an entry level car.
@@TheShopMiniRC thanks, I have an Atomic here but have not yet tried it out, good to know that a basic atomic is as good as a fully tuned Kyosho mr03.

Did they stop regular mini z racing at 5280? Hobbytown Littleton seems to be the spot now in Denver metro
Currently. It will likely still host larger races.
Cool video ken I am just wondering The body mounts when you're breaking them all the time did you glue them in the stock location Christian said in the instructions you have to have them glued forward a little bit
The body mounts are forward as instructed. I really think it has to do with the front clip. I ordered a carbon fiber front mount. We will see if that helps.
@@TheShopMiniRC I'm making custom body clips for jourema bodies, the offset I found to be exact is 1.5mm. I'll give you a couple sets Ken. It's Glen here. And the instructed offset as pictured on the reflex website is actually 3mm, which is way too much. The reflex body mount is exactly 1.5mm forward of the GLR-GT spacing

Stock GLF? Yes, some are, some are upgraded a tad. These are not normal “mini z”.
