Got one today, 2019 used only 119 hours, under two grand $. Condition could be easily mistaken for a new one after my detail cleanup. Really enjoyed putting around with it this afternoon. I was about to spend nearly $5000 on a new zero turn, but decided this at less than half the cost made more sense for about one acre to mow.
Im torn between a z330m and an x350. I mow a few lawns as a sidehustle and my old cub cadet isnt up to the task anymore, and its slow. I do have to mow a few hills and have no experience with a zero turn. Ive heard that hills can be troublesome and sometimes even dangerous. The hills are probably close to 15 degrees,if i were to guess, maybe even more. Zero turns seem neat, but would i be better off with the tried and true x350 or the zippy z330?
Thanks for watching the video Cipher! Your instinct is right, with the hills you're facing it sounds like a zero turn model might not be your best option. You're probably better off with the lawn tractor model. And with the main objective being the side hustle, seriously consider the X370 or X380. Increased durability and speed couldn't hurt when the minutes count! Check out how the X380 performs: ua-cam.com/video/LyeRFi_Gduk/v-deo.html
Hey mate. I’m getting an x350 this week but want to ask if I can upgrade the seat to an x380 seat due to back problems, is the seat much better?. The x350 is $8000 and the x380 is $12500 Australian so I can’t really just get an x380.
Hi Jaiden, it really is a big step up to that seat - and you can definitely upgrade just the seat on the X350. Great question and thanks for watching the channel!
If you buy one of these, my mistake you will find out the ridiculous cost to repair the simplest part. Like the belt that turns the blades and the little cheap tensioner keeper made of plastic that breaks after a few hundred hours of use and then you have to buy the whole new panel were the screws attach and the shop time at $150 + per hour. You have to wait days or longer before they can get to it because their short staffed. Which always happens the day after the warranty expires. The Bluetooth is a major hassle as it always wants to connect to your truck near by. If you work on it you void the warranty. So we said Fuxk it and made the repair with epoxy and bought the replacement belts at Napa Auto. Its also a major job to sharpen or replace the cutting blades, be sure to have no fuel in the tank before turning upside down to get at the blades. Our cost to repair was $30.00 vs their quote of $740.00
Hey there, G. Schallert! We're sorry to hear about your experience. We're happy to hear it sounds like you've found a solution that works for you. We appreciate you watching the video, and stay tuned for upcoming DIY tutorials for your X350!
So you turned the mower upside to get the blades off instead of spending 2 minutes to take the deck off,and you complain that gas leaks out when you flip it over, lmao🤣👌I see the problem, and it ain't the mower, lol.
WTF! there's no suspension on these tractors! Why would you do a stupid cup test??? empty air out of tires on a old sears econo tractor and it will perform better. Talking about econo tractors....your test proves nothing from a cheap HD john deere to a high end dealer JD.
Wow Wk! We're sorry to hear you're so offended by our fun and simple spill test. What metrics would you suggest to compare different John Deere lawn mower models against each other? Thanks for watching.

12:19am 5/28/24--- excellent video with good commentary. Thanks for the info on a JD tractor I may be buying soon!
Thanks for watching, Robert, and we're glad we could help out.
Order x350 j.d. my local j.d. doesn't have one in stock.😢
😞 Sorry to hear that, Robert! Thank you for supporting the video.
Looking forward to other comparison videos.
Thank you Daniel!
My X350 seems to cut unevenly on turns. Its worst when cutting or turning on a slope.

You lost me a turn mower upside down. It must have taken you a day to let the gas drain before you turned it upside down
*"finishing mower."* other than that spot on.
Thanks for watching George!

@@papemachinery.agturf Unacceptable!!! Very offended! I can't even answer due to the stress!!!
Try a laxative
The cup test is stupid, no doubt. Zero suspension, what did you expect?
Thanks for watching, Troel!
