Hi Jason. Could you answer this question please: For such versatile machine (and one that I really want to buy now, replacing E130 that I’ve had for 4 years) why not do a bigger decks on this? What’s the thinking there from JD? One reason I needed an upgrade is to reduce the time it presently takes with a 42”.
Hi Narita, thanks for watching the video! Jason says: "If you're looking for a bigger deck, you'll need to jump up to an X384." If you're looking to seriously save some time on your mow, you might even want to look into a zero turn. These models really are a time saver and have 54" decks available, too! Check out our Let's Go Mow video playlist to see these machines in action and we even time how long it takes for each model to mow. Hope this helps you out!

Hi Daniel, thanks for watching! You're hearing the mower deck as Jason travels over uneven terrain. You're able to hear that with the electric motors but usually not when using a gas engine, because the engine noise is so much louder.
Where do you take it for warranty work if purchased at a big box store?

Also appreciate a much overlooked piece of information….John Deere is the only US owned tractor manufacturer remaining in the world, and Deere’s 1, 2, 3 and 4 series tractors are designed, engineered, manufactured and assembled here in the US as well. Some of us “older folk” muchly appreciate that. Tractor Time with Tim UA-cam channel has a couple of videos from Deere’s Augusta, GA plant that covers the 1 - 4 series tractors. Very interesting and powerful videos!

The permanent loader is a deal breaker. Other competitors all have detachable loaders on their economy models.
While the E series doesn’t include a factory quick disconnect for the loader there is a parking stand kit available that would allow you to pretty easily disconnect the loader.

I am in
I was torn between which one of these to purchase. I have reasonably sized suburban home with a lot of trees and large flower bed and smaller round inground pool. I am hoping to find a battery blower that will blow off leaves from the middle of the pool cover. They are wet leaves, so are often heavy. As I am also getting older, I have some mild concerns related to weight, but only slightly. My question is, is there enough difference between the two blowers both in power and weight to pick one over the other. It usually takes me 30 to 45 minutes to blow off most of my yard. Thanks, JJ
Hi Mingtown! Without the batteries, the backpack blower comes in at about 16 pounds; the handheld model comes in at about 4½ pounds. The batteries add some weight of course... You'd most likely be fine using the handheld 765CFM with the tapered nozzle. That gives you a little bit more wind power. EGO does have a new handheld model coming out soon - this one will be an 880CFM blower, with air speeds of up to 200MPH! It's not on shelves yet... but that might be worth the wait. Jason plans on doing a video on that model when he can get his hands on it. Thanks for watching the video!

Hi Timothy, thanks for watching the video. We're not Buffalo Turbine dealers. This machine is actually quite easily attached to your John Deere using the iMatch hitch, and does not require the use of additional fuel like the Buffalo units.
