God, I love this channel. Facts, not feelings. Numbers don't lie.
🙏🙏
However numbers can be manipulated :)
Bryan Johnson I am certain would undoubtedly be DELIGHTED to hire you!
😂
Dear Dr. , at 4:57 you said repeatedly damaging your skin is not really anti-aging, it only forces the skin to generate new cells therefore only masking the effect of aging ( I am trying my best to summarise), I have the exact concern about derma rollers. Why do you recommend derma roller in another video of yours ? I really would appreciate if you can explain, thank you so much!!
I think it’s because they build collagen
Going by what he explained on that vid, dermarollers trigger the skin to improve itself, becoming thicker with collagen and elastin. Whereas RF heats the mid layer under the skin to scab and contract providing a lifted appearance.
You’re so knowledgeable.. I m so happy to have found you. I grew up with Keratosis Polaris and have sensitive and bumpy skin most of my lives. Have seen a lot of dermatologist only to be told to exfoliate or that there’s no cure. Would love for you to release a video tackling this issue especially from an anti-aging standpoint.
Perfect video as always! Getting straight to the point and always love that you input your personal opinion while deciphering the facts :)
Thanks Dr Abs; you provide us great information…
You are so clever. Started to watch your videos and you explain things so so well 🙌🏽
❤️🙏
your style and depth of presenting is superb. I appreciate and enjoy it a lot, even as, or maybe because, I already know most things on the bio-physiological/physical level you are talking about. Thanks a lot
I cannot handle how clever you are!!!!!
Your videos are _fantastic!_
🙏
Can’t wait for the detailed video …
greetings from Switzerland. Could I kindly ask if I schedule online app with you , would you be able to prescribe medication in Switzerland?
Thank you 😊 yes, the skincare can get delivered to Switzerland on prescription 👌
Great video, glad I found this channel.
Some questions… which method is superior to remove facial thread veins, IPL, thermavein?
Do you recommend the use of tretinoin when it’s been shown to increase dry eye and damage the meobian glands?
I find it interesting that Bryan has dry eyes and has extensive dry eye treatments but also is using thing that actually contribute towards it (topical finasteride / tretinoin)
Thank you 🙏 for thread veins, it does depends on the patient, vein size, vein numbers etc but I'd probably lean more towards an energy treatment like IPL or BBL.
I'd still recommend tretinoin in that case, yeah. And then just treat the issue with the eye same time. If tretinoin which Is just vitamin a is causing that then you need to ask why the eye is like that in the first place (in my opinion).
I've seen patients cure their dry eyes very quickly using LED, maybe that's something he should consider if he upgrades his LED.
Thank you Dr, now I can hear you well. The old videos have a club like vibe. People (like me)who watch the videos have presbycusis because of aging.🤣
Haha you're welcome, I really appreciate the feedback
Hello Dr. Abs I'm a new viewer who stumbled on your channel and I'm wondering if you have any opinions on fasting for aging and health in general?
Very interesting video- thanks . Yes I would like to know your opinion re best injectable for skin tightening. I would also like to know your opinion about RF Microneedling devices such as Secret RF if you are familiar with this .
Sure, I'd say the best FRFM atm is Genius by Lutronic. It's available in a lot of countries and is by far the most advanced in my personal opinion. I think I made a video on it for the 4 best cosmetic treatments of 2023 or something.
For an injectable, I tried so many over the years but nothing compared to Sunekos. Unfortunately though it's not available in every country because the company behind it is massive some others. Tightening relies on the structures I mentioned in the video like collagen 4 and 7, but most injectables can only make collagen 1 and/or 3. Brands do very well to hide this from end users as you can imagine.
What is the injectable? Love your information ❤
Sunekos 😊
Love your precision, there are so many pseudo experts on the 😢internet harming the quality of experts work for years & years !
Dr. Abs! I’m not sure if you’ve already answered this in the comments, but what is the best light therapy mask for at home users in the US? There’s so much out there and it is so difficult to make an educated choice. Thank you!
Do you have an opinion on volufiline?
Hi Dr Abs, More amazing advice, I've always been unsure about RF. I'm quilty of buying beauty devices
, Do you have any opinion on the lyma laser? I can't find anything on this device.
It's absolutely one of the biggest piles of rubbish I've ever seen in my life, stay well away from anything made by Lyma!!
How come you didn’t mention tixel which was in the original Bryan Johnson video? Do you have any thoughts on tixel?
What do you think about topical oxygen plasma serums?
Thank you 🙏
I would like to know about this injectable for tightening please
Dr. Abs, what protocol do you recommend for Sunekos? I'm having trouble finding a knowledgeable derm, they tell me I should just do a Performa session per month, which I don't think is enough...
What is the Injectable that has this pattern for Maximum physiological increase Of these tightening structures? please
What do you think of taking oral phytoceramides like Ceratiq as "internal moisturizers" instead of applying topical moisturizers?
I've not personally seen any data on measurable changes in the skin related to them actually. I'd be interested to know if any study like that has been done.
This was a great review of Bryan skincare do you have any thoughts that sugar can cause aging of the skin if there is any evidence or truth to this
Thank you 🙏 I think sugar can be pro-aging in general and not just for skin. Personally I try to restrict the frequency of it and keep it to just meals unless I'm exercising or something similar.
@@Dr_Abs I have a lot of protein rich yogurts which contain 9 grams of sugar per pot as containing protein will the effects of the sugar be not as negative
Hmm I don't think there's a comparison study like that so I don't k ow the answer I'm afraid but I'd guess the protein would be better for you than the sugar
@@jonathonfreelove5321 why don't you get plain natural yoghurt and make it more palatable by adding fresh fruit to it.
Hey. He also takes 40mg accutane per week. Would love to know your thoughts on it.
I think hell see some benefit but how backwards is he going to go with the vegan diet at the same time? How can the skin grow while he's got a coagulation device that he uses regularly too? As much as I salute his efforts, he's been so badly advised that I don't expect him to gain much. He's already being beaten by someone in the longevity standings who spends $30,000 a year instead of a million - that says a lot.
Hi Dr Abs, hoping you can help. Are fillers/tear trough the only way to help with volume loss in the eyes? If I understand correctly, does sunekos mainly help with the condition of the skin? It may mean that less filler or no filler. My surface of my under eye is in good condition. TIA.
You've understood perfectly well - I use Sunekos before the filler because it then means I need less filler and it looks much better. For 'true volume loss' a volumiser like filler is the appropriate option. Sunekos won't increase the size of the fat pad like filler will - it's more for the overlying skin as you rightly said. If you're in the US, have a look at Renuva too - I made a video on it just before this one.
@@Dr_Abs What do you think about the new PLLA biostimulators for the eye area?
Hello sir! Excuse me if I missed it, but have you by any chance made a video on a skin care routine or any manipulations you personally or other professionals make for your skin?
I just use either tretinoin or differin depending on what I have with me on that day, nothing else
@@Dr_Absis avene Retinaldehyde effective?
Is nutrakos safe ? it has sodium benzoate as a preservative and there’s been studies suggesting it can cause cancer
SB is dose dependant too as far as I'm aware - it's passed very rigorous safety standards so I personally feel very safe in taking it everyday. That's fantastic knowledge of ingredients you have there!
What injectable has that pattern?
Hello dear doctor. How can I get in contact with you?
what do you think of volufiline?
Doesn’t overuse of RF cause fat loss?
Hi Dr, what do you think about human stem cell face serum/cream?
Interesting question... I know there are people out there using these kinds of products and are happy with them. But then at the same time, we have lawsuits like Allergan SkinMedica because of the cancer links as far as I'm aware. This just tells me that we simply don't know enough about stem cells to have complete control over them.
@@Dr_Abs Do you know if Neogenesis is good brand?
I haven't looked into them in detail actually. For myself, I would still stick to good vitamin A / B products and maintain sunscreen with a healthy lifestyle. With that, there's not a 'huge' amount more extra things like a stem cell product could add imo. Have a look at a product like Adipeau which you might like.
awesome video!
may i ask a question?
i'm considering getting a micro needling device to use semi regularly (maybe every 1-2 month on going)
waiting do get the more adorable dermalux red light device you eluded to
am considering using some peptides like Matrixyl, Argireline, Copper Peptides, plus vit c
plus getting a bbl or ipl treatment to help with sun damage
(i already practice sun safety, use tretinoin, go to bed early, eat fruits and veg, exercise)
are any of these redflags?
a video on all the best skincare device/ skin care procedures (like a brief break down of them) would be epic
also a break down of what you think may be the most comprehensive perfect skincare habits including any foods, habbits, device use, and producer uses with the time span of when each are appropriate (obviously it would be different for everyone but some kind of broad informational breakdown to help people see through he noise and target the best habits and investments that are legitimate)
THANK YOU :)
Thank you! Check out intofaces.com - it's a more affordable dermalux device if you're interested. I don't have a discount code or anything but it's much cheaper than the FlexMD.
I don't see any red flags in your plan at all. I'd maintain your skincare and not worry too much about peptides tbh. Keep to your tretinoin etc and book in some BBL maybe once a year if you like.
I'll make a note of your video ideas :)
Awesome thank you! i know that simply hearing your thoughts is worth a lot so i appreciate that.
so the intofaces mask is better then the general red-light face masks?
kinda unique question, I have a tattoo right across my face, i've had multiple laser tattoo removal sessions but its still in the process. Should I wait to do micro needle and bbl or start now as the tattoo removal may take a year or so?
btw congratulations on speaking 6 languages that epic!
@@Dr_Abs
Thank you for the kind words 🙏 For me, the intofaces mask is the best one on the market ATM.
I'd definitely remove the tattoo before needling because the puncture in the skin could send pigment deeper otherwise. Take a look at tattoo removal lasers from Lutronic, they're so powerful it might take less time for you.
Thank you for the language compliment too 😁
Awesome i will follow your advice and research what you has suggested :)
Do you think its alright to get bbl/ipl/ whilst tattoo removal is still in process
Any ideas how to improve or minimise psoriasis (mild flakiness near hairline)?
How did you learn 6 languages? any tips??? :D@@Dr_Abs
I think bbl while tattoo removal is happening might be okay but double check with your provider.
Psoriasis has many factors involved. Watch my vitamin D3 video to understand how to ensure you get enough nutrients and also try something like that mask I linked. With both of those you should get results quickly.
I love languages so it's never any effort haha, gotta love what you do ❤️
Do you think that adipeau is effective?
I've not looked into it in much detail if I'm being honest. However, I'm sure there will be similar products hitting the market soon and the competition will create more effective products.
Good video! What do you think about tazarotene 0.1%? Working?
I'm sure it would work but haven't tried it personally. Its vitamin A activity on the same receptors as tretinoin has been studied for some time.
nice vid
What is the injectable please? Just found you and I’m binging your videos!
Thank you 😊 it's called sunekos
Can we replace Squalane oil with petroleum jelly?
They're not 'exactly' the same ingredient(s) so I wouldn't say they're chemically interchangeable.
On that thought, if we use a moisturizer that contains squalane and other stuff like ceramides, but that doesn't have HA in it, do you think it could be a good idea or would you just stick to the squalane oil? 🤔
Theoretically should be good - but also product dependent (additives, preservatives etc)
He is a little on the odd side. But all power to him. Doing more than I am.
I watched him in a podcast where he showed himself receiving fat injections in his face to compensate loss of facial fat due to weight loss.
Aesthetics apart, his approach to identify how best to nourish his vital organs is incredibly interesting.
100%
Bryan is all about personal gain
💖❤️🙏❤️💖
Lol
Haircafe kevin explained how most of his haircare is cope
Dr Abs butchered his Skincare routine
so what is left
His diet is atrocious too in my opinion
You're so sincere, Doc! Can't stop laughing...😂😂
I'm going to steal your phrase: "In my opinion" that way I will never again hurt anyones feelings again... 😂😂 Poor Bryan! He seems to be a nice guy; maybe being tricked, thou. He should give you a call for a 2nd opinion and then a job... 🤑😂
To be fair I think what Bryan is doing is noble. I really credit him for making people think about their health. I have nothing bad to say about him at all. I just think what he's doing is a load of BS thanks to BS advice he's clearly getting from Oliver Zolman.
Bryan Johnson films his UA-cam videos with a face full of make up. If his skin was that good this would not be needed.
He looks off. The skeletal to muscle and fat ratio is off. A “young” look is not the word that comes to mind.
Hello, does anybody know the name of drinkable form of Sunekos.
