I've done many of them...on a bicycle. It's the ideal way to immerse yourself in the Dales, a place I called home for a decade and still think of as the loveliest place I've lived.

Fantastic place to explore whether you're on foot or on wheels

I did a circuit from Harrogate, Masham, Leyburn, Hawes, Arncliffe, Bolton Abbey and back to Harrogate back in 2001 on my old 1998 Fazer. Sadly stopped riding in 2004 but I will repeat that run again before too long.

Very nice, I've ridden them all in the past & hope to do so again in the future, but I've never seen much of the scenery, which is most definitely my own fault this is due to my Weapons of Choice, my Gassed 89 Gamma 500, my 91 Gassed Genissis & my Gassed 72 Suzuki GT750(this one's not so good on the bends, although I did race it for a while(pre gas)), I live in Blackpool & have taken to hopping on the ferry to the IoM, it is a bit pricey but then so are multiple tickets in Scotland Wales & Yorkshire, plus it keeps the track in my head for racing the Classic, we have some fabulous roads on this sceptred isle, & it is very easy to get lost in yourself, plus I do believe the police now work for the Inland Revinue, fewer & fewer criminals are being caught but more & more & more riders & drivers are being taxed every time they put rubber on tarmac.

It's worth taking your time round the Dales to appreciate the scenery. You might need a slightly calmer bike for that though :-)

Love the detail of the Bridgestone watermark being covered up by the rearview mirror.

I only came across your video by accident but what an inspiration.. Currently I am riding a Tiger 900 GT pro as my long distance bike enjoying my 2017 Bonneville bobber for the domestic ride outs. I am about to take part in the 2024 Tiger 800 Megameet in Durham in May this year. On the Tiger of course, I have done the Dales a couple of years ago but I am intending to do the Dales on my way back. Do you share gpx routes? I'd love to do some of the roads you did. And by the way and that's me as a German saying : she is riding the better bike BMW is a piece of shit to a proper bike designed in the UK but made in Thailand

you treat it like a race track, it isn't, and you are missing a lot of the scenery, slow down for gods sake.

Best places to ruin the beatific calm and quiet with the fucking awful noise of a motorbike.
