Thanks for the good memories, I used to come to the UK 2 to 3 times a year. Now due to covit and brexit it is a lot of work for new documents and passport. That is why I now stay closer to home like Luxembourg and Germany. Grt from Belgium.
Ive come to dartmoor and exmoor ever since i was little and ive always loved it and now i ride a motorcycle i want to come here more even though im a new rider on a cbt licence i would love to ride in these areas its one of my bucket list items 😱💯
The Byway signpost is clearly shown at the beginning of Deave lane which is recorded on the Public Rights of Way map as a Byway Open to All Traffic, although it also carries a warning that it narrows to 4 foot 6 in width excluding anything wider than a land rover. Not a Bridleway.
When you said you were going to go off-road, I thought “Here we go!”. Then, you rode slowly along some slightly muddy lanes, with a few puddles! Let's be fair...it was only “off-road” in the sense that they were not Tarmac! Not exactly a test for your fancy tyres, is it? Pretty much any road tyres would have been fine on the sections you rode, if ridden sensibly. Come on, guys...do it properly, or don't bother!
A bit daft fitting knobbles just to promote Bridgestone, when you really needed treads in the wet, you hardly rode any off road, 95% was wet road.
Brilliant, thinking of going that way with my lads. ❤️
Always good to see Dartmoor getting some love, but especially Exmoor!
Fantastic riding there!

Let's hope that both situations improve quickly!

Wow! What a place to live! :-)
The Rugglestone Inn is a brilliant place for a bite to eat!

That looks like a bridleway you're riding on!

What time of the year did you take this trip please?
Always dreamed of touring the Highlands or Europe, never considered there was some great riding to be had in my own backyard.
Have you got the route on a gpx file? if yes could you share please
check video’s description for the file
A bit of a dull vid boys. Dreary music, slow editing. Turned off after 5 mins.
Na all the roads in exmoor are rubbish, no point showing them off for more people to come here and explore... 😜
Oh yeah, now that you mention it...

For 99% of ADV riders that IS proper off roading….. 😂
