A Husqvarna FE450, DRZ400, KTM EXC 350, Husaberg 450, Yamaha Tenere T700, and a plucky little 125 with L plates take on the TET in the Yorkshire Dales.
I rode a few of these trails a little while back on my XR400. Good to see other es enjoying them - the TET is a great way to see the British countryside.
Brilliant vid!! Wow. Stunning views, great for some wild camping at the same time. 125cc is all you need. Great idea with sticking it in a van as well. Top marks👌👌👌
I don’t have the GPX, but you can download the whole TET GPX from the Trans Euro Trail website - and it’ll be fully up to date/legal. We just made a figure of eight loop between Hawes and Reeth.
Brilliant. Quick one though. So I had a T7 and was wondering if you knew anything about the self drive model in this video? I’ve had a look online and can’t find anything about them…I thought driverless bikes were a ways off.
We were using dedicated sat navs (Garmin Montana 610), but lots of people use their phone with an app (Guru Maps, OSMAnd, etc). It’s all pretty easy once you’ve got a GPX track to follow (you can get the latest TET track from the Trans Euro Trail website).
Thanks 🙏 After I posted I read the other comments and saw that 🙄 I have and use a Tomtom on my road bike. I might get an old phone and get it set up on my Husky.
This was a self-guided ride. If you Google Trans Euro Trail, you'll find the site that'll let you download the GPX track. Just put it on your phone/GPS and head for the hills...
To be fair, this video deserves MANY more views, great edit, thank you :D
What great fun you must of had what a day - ending in a pub - perfect 😅
One ov best trail vids av seen. Nice to see the 125's having a go to! There more than capable.
I think I stayed at that very same campsite at 1:01. Good campsite would def go back!

Love this. Looking to purchase a Africa twin. From Durham, so these trails are on my door step.
Thanks for video.
Lucky man! The trails are much flatter where I live.
hi everyone, nice video, nice paths, a woman with you is rare, we don't see enough off-road motorcyclists.
See you soon
Nice ride, some interesting trails there. 🤙
Rupert , that how you make a great trail vid ! ... Thank you keep up the good work 😊
Get my ktm 450 on Monday can't wait to get out to places like this! Great video

Brilliant video I'm going up to Hawes in a few days can't wait.
Loved it, nice lanes, good skills. Keep it up!
Thanks for sharing your video keep vlogs po always take care
Great video 💪🏽💙
Great video! That was a stoney ride! You need some decent suspension for that one!
Clearly demonstrating the superiority of the 125 - better agility, quieter, lighter weight and intrinsic traction control
Excellent !!
Good video, some decent views too! 👍🏻 where did you go on this ride? Cheers
It’s a section of the TET (free GPX on the website). We started in Hawes and did a figure of 8 loop. It’s a great route.
Do you have a gpx of that route please? Great video, love the Dales

@@Rupe ah cool thanks, thought I recognized the area (from cycling round there). Thanks 👍
What off roading should be about.
Great vid, What gps are you using please..
It’s a Garmin Montana 600 series. A little old now, but dependable.
Brilliant. Quick one though. So I had a T7 and was wondering if you knew anything about the self drive model in this video? I’ve had a look online and can’t find anything about them…I thought driverless bikes were a ways off.
Funnily enough that T7 is pretty heavily modified (although it does have a pretty talented rider - who also runs T7rally.com).
@@Rupe did the rider not fancy going on the trip then?
@@v4forlife Right, this is driving me crazy. What are you referring to?!
@@Rupe 😂😂 to the camouflage that the well hidden Tenere rider is wearing.
@@v4forlife Aha! Of course.
Hiya Rupert, where did you start and finish from? and where did you stay? Looking at doing this next month with a pal
We stayed at the Old Hall Cottage Campsite (Hardraw, Hawes) for a couple of nights and did a different loop each day. It worked pretty well.
@@Rupe many thanks 😊
mega ride
I really really fancy doing this. How easy is the navigation? Did you use a phone, google maps or another app?

I had a Garmin Montana 610 back then, but I’ve since upgraded to the Carpe Iter tablet (very good).
Have you got a link for the trail please. As am new to the game thank you Aaron
The route was part of the Trans Euro Trail. Free regularly updated trails throughout Europe. We were up near Hawes. transeurotrail.org/
How do I get in touch for a tour

What a great video. I enjoyed every second. Thank you!
